[THEME] [2.3.4 ROMS] CarbonDroid discontinued [24/08/11]

I'm a big fan of Coredroid and Their theme!
Coredroids theme is what makes Coredroid special. its what sets it apart from the other Roms. Due to this if people want what my theme looked like,
minus the custom personalize key or the font, or transparent app drawer and notification bar. You will only get it through CoreDroid's ROM! As im not going to support this Theme anymore. Thats right, im discontinuing CarBonDroid Remixed

i just got the best of whats out there, and added some personal touches to it but will be adding more of my own touches to it soon

you can flash just rosie on its own for that, though i doubt it will give u all 6 colour icons maybe 4 or 5 but u can try.

Hmmm am I the only one trying to getting this baby to work and obviously failing at it?
Just tried to apply it from the stock 2.3.4 rom and it keeps being stuck at the htc bootanimation after the android_audio.mp3 played, it keeps hanging..
Any suggestion Ikhzter?

Don't think it works for stock ROM. You need to be deodexed. Use a custom Rom. Works great over android revolution

I had this issue. Please reboot into recovery. Wipe cache and dalvik cache. Then reboot. It worked for me.

Yes. Pull it out from the RUU .exe file yourself or download it from the thread

2. Why my "network provided time zone" is GMT+3, if I'm in Romania (GMT+2)? OK, I changed manually, but ... why?

1) not on Sense, so can't check, but go to calendar settings, and there is am option to change the first day of the week.
2)reboot the phone or try changing sim card

I installed the rom and its quite nice - but there are two main problems, which i can't manage to solve on my own. ..
1. After disabling the spelling correction, it should be off - but in some apps, like trillian, its still activated. Didn't have that problem on 2.3
2. Same for vibrate feedback. Turned it off - but it's still on while typing in my apps.
Thats annoying while chatting ~_~

I have a question regarding the update. I have a stock Desire S that is network locked on Orange. Do it need to unlock before the update, or should I proceed as normal?

Turn off your phone, battery out, then put it back in, press the volume down button while pressing the power button at the same time, it will say on there somewhere s-on or s-off

If you install kernel for x920d,i think you not have problem. But you can test

Its smooth. But stock is brilliant.

everyone is different
for me the best firmware - miui (this is not a holy war)
and chity android is better for me, since there is no miui for the butterfly on a naked android can I put launcher mihome
and it will be a bit like miui
I will be grateful to you if you can fix the camera
however, we did use the fact that we like and that it is convenient, right?

I tried this camera

- it does not work ( in this firmware on the other firmware (4.2.2) worked)
added to the system / ann, permissions set like all the others

I am about to finis the testing then I will Upload

I am unable to solve the camera issue as the rom is unable to communicate with the cam hardware. I am not well worsed withthe source

I heard that the HTC One Google Play edition has HTC frameworks comes with it. Mayb u should try put in HTC camera.

It's Google Play Edition , but the rom and updates aren't really from Google. To make it simple, it's an AOSP build from HTC (or Samsung)

Sorry for this shout, but it's big nightly which in 40% can brick your phone. Sorry, ROM, not phone
BUT!
In update, it isn't too much nightly, its from stock Sense 5 SystemUI.apk. And i think, it can't crash your phone.
Installation is simply (For most users and developers)
Make a nandroid backup, because, it can brick your phone.
Flash and wipe cache and dalvik cache.
If you flashed this modification i will post your name at this list

You can test it. I'll promote you in my posts :highfive:

I tested it and it Didn't brick my device! But I was facing errors every few sconds; "Unfortunately UI/sense... has stopped". Also I had no notification bar and I couldn't go to settings too. I should say it is not working yet!
