It seems they have changed the resources as well with 4.4 normally the battery icon resources were in drawable-xhdpi in 4.3 but with 4.4 its not in drawable-xxhdpi or any place. STRANGE

I think it's in the "/system/priv-app"
Sorry to bump this, but could someone upload 4.4.2 'SystemUI.apk'? I can't seem to extract it from the factory image, cheers!

Are you rooted? Did you put them into /system/app ?

I had a problem with file settings.apk from my z5 6.0.1 deodexed. i've tried to decompress then compress it (nothing change anything with apktool 2.1.1) , resigned it then put it back but it didn't run. It didn't show setting icon app. Please help. Thank you very much.

what do you mean ? uninstall settings.apk with titanium backup then reinstall settings.apk ? i don't think this will be resolve my problem. because i could do this before in android 4.3

Sure, I use extrememusic to get the most of the speaker and headphones

Xposed module: PerfectColorBar (white statusbar grey icon)
For nougat icons I edited systemUI, just decompile the apk in system/priv-app, replace the png, recompile and replace the apk or just make flashable zip

1) Unzip 3 files and replace it by the way (i'm doing this in X-plore):
- system\framework\android.policy.jar
- system\framework\framework-res.apk
- system\priv-app\SecSettings2\SecSettings2.apk
2) Check file permissions /644/
3) Reboot the phone and wait 5-10 min.
