Here is the rom for the ones who wants to install what they want on their phone:
A rom bundled with only Phone/Contacts/Messaging/Browser/Market/MyFiles .
Uses Samsung's apps, and TouchwizLauncher.

wow! it looks like ultra-quick! is stable?
It would be interesting to see if we could shrink the /system partition and give more storage to /data..
That way we could have smaller base roms and let people have more room for storage of apps, settings, etc..

Every thing removed except Camera, Internet, Market, My Files, Settings, Superuser, Task Manager, Phone, Contacts, Messaging.
I flashed it yesterday and it works great. Thanks Gsam101

I flashed it this morning and I have to say: so far everything looks good. Now I do got one question since this is pretty annoying: When I flash JPA or JPB , swyping becomes very slow. I don't got this issue with Eclair so I don't know what's causing this. I really mean: When I swype a word, it takes a few seconds before the word appears on the screen. Does anyone know what's causing this and if there is a fix available?
I am getting very poor battery back up afther flashing with XXJPA and XXJPB. its around 12 hours and my phone is down. while using JG6 was getting around 1 day to 1.5days. please help.

Depends on the usage, but never seen so low duration with galaxy3 8-/

Same here, to me eclair and JP9 firmware are the best in terms of battery life, JPA and JPB only last me max 12 hours with normal usage and 15 hours when there's school.

Thanks for the ROM. If you dont mind, please answer the below questions:
1. IS ringtone vol not able to mute with vol keys bug present in this ROM?
2. Does this ROM has proximity sensor fix?
3. Last but not least, how can i flash single file, i means just zImage of jpb?

Hey there! After Flashing this firmware. When i connect USB cable it doesn't give any options to use as USB device , as Tethering, Kies etc.
I'd like to know how i can make it connect to PC and browse the SD.

I think it was enabled when i tested. Atm i have JPA/JPB hybrid installed and works fine. I'll give it a shot with the new JPF and if that problem continues i'll test that. Thx.
My Bluetooth is not working in any of the 4.2.x Roms (though it's working in 4.1). I can pair but can't send or receive any file. I would be great if someone can help.

Thanks for the help but, I have tried this before and it's not working.
and I don't think it's related to the system bt app.
Everyone else's Bluetooth is working just not mine.
It works on 4.1.x but not on 4.2.x.

Ya i guessed that yesterday itself, but just mentioned this just for you to give a try ( Since in my device Bluetooth is working in all 4.2 ROM's ).
Just re-install the Bluetooth driver of your system and all your problem will be solved.

Hi,
I have some problems using Viper4Android + PA.
Previously I used the Stock Based Elixr ROM. Viper4Android was shipped with it and I instantly fell in love with it.
But now I am using PA 4.6 Beta1 and I am unable to use it.
I installed it and activated the driver.
When I check the status of it, the "process" field says "no".
I attached three screenshots with information.
May someone help me?

Thank you for your help.
I installed it previously from the thread you have mentioned. I did a clean install and it didn't work.
I did the build prop "trick" and it works now.
Good news!
On my own ROM its never said "yes" for Processing, but I know it worked because I can hear the difference when you toggle something :/

Mine says yes, so long as audio is actually playing and I am looking at the tab that relates to how I am listening (eg I look at headphones tab if I am using headphones)

Yeah, but mine always said "no" regardless what tab I was looking at, or if I was using headphones or speaker while playing audio. Don't know why, but it still worked as normal, that's what matters
Hi, i have a custom rom android 4.4.4 KK pacman dorian's build and i have 2 issues.
One of them is that my phone battery is draining fast..i've turned down google location...i reinstalled the android but...it didn't work
Another one is that i can't talk on the phone with the handsfree. Is there any solution to fix that?

no. i have a pair of iphone 5 headsets. i might said it wrong.. on my friend's phone is working (touchwiz) samsung A3. so i assume that is the rom. can some1 provide me a solution for this problem?
L.E. I forgot to mention. the headset are working but during call i can answer on the button but the mic not working. that's the issue

turned down that the mic is working with samsung headset
but the battery drain is such a big problem.
yesterday,I was flashing firmware on my mtk GV08s smartwatch and somehow my camera and bluetooth got bricked.
The camera won't open,Instead it'll just make the watch crash or go into safe mode.The same goes for the bluetooth.The device I want to connect to it isn't able to connect to it.BT dailer crashes if I try to connect someone via bluetooth.Everything else works fine.Please help.

You flashed an incorrectly ported version of the rom. Flashing the stock rom should solve the issue.

I used the gv08 from carlspaco mod-2 and the langb file from x9PCB01_gprs x9 gv08 for registering the IMEI number through sn writer.

There are many firmware versions here. Try them out.

I tried them all,they either turn my screen upside down or just give error message for the camera.only carlspaco mod 2 fits in with my watch.

Well, I'm sorry about that, but I can't help you. If there is no stock or compatible firmware, there's not way to easily fix it.

Don't you have a device repair shop anywhere nearby? Most repair shops use JTAG tehniques for software problems which are pretty much bound to work. Although they charge for their service.
