[Q] Karbon A21

Hello,
I have got Karbonn A21 mobile and went through form of it also. but i am not clear about few things.
1. I want to install Custom Rom. which one is good
2. Before installing Custom ROM i want to take Backup of my orignal ROM so how i take, i have seen thread of CWM Recovery but i am confuess
when i read it that weather CWM RECOVERY 5.0.2.8 for KARBONN A21 is latest and weather it can take Backup of my orignal ROM
if taken how can i revert back to orignal if custom rom does not work. can any one help in this how i go with it
3. I have seen Two ROM and i want to know the Problem in that both ROM can any one help

Question: STOCK ROM for Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0/ Karbonn S1 Titanium

Hello Guys,
Does anyone know where I can download the stock ROM for the phone mentioned in the tittle? I failed to create an image of my device before I started toying around with it.
If any of you have recently acquired this unit kindly post the Stock ROM for it here. Or better yet. if any of you can post a custom ROM for this device then that would be fantastic.

join the group in facebook just search CM.flame2.0 and download the stock rom in the file section.
Im looking for stock karbonn s1 titanium roms for me to extract the FMradio.apk for CM Flame 2.0. hopefully our indian friends can help us.

Okay guys just sent the request for the cmf2.0 group... Does it hav any custom roms? hope some developers come around and create a thread for this fone

I tried the restoration method already. no success. something about an md5 checksum mismatch...
any ideas?

hi, I havent tried flashing the backup rom myself. checksum error means improper download. try redownloading or posting your concern on the group page for fast reply.

Few days before i have download stock rom of cm Flame 2.0 n its work fantastic on my S1 s Why we dont have Custom rom if We have stock rom CWM n all stuff witch required so please freinds try to create custom rom if any help required ask me but please do somthing waiting for new ROM for my Karbonn S1

Is It Possible to Extract current ROM !

I bought a new phone and i was wondering i could possibly extract the current rom, before i Install a other customized ROM or flash the recovery or root it.

just take the back up with CWM recovery after rooting, or you can download the stock rom from the link given in general section............

I am asking for micromax a110, but it would be more relevant if i say i am asking about any android phone, as i have just bought canvas 4, and i May switch to some other phone later on.

dude this thread is for canvas 2 only AND I CAN PROVIDE YOU FULL STOCK ROM ... AS CANVAS 2 COME IN THE BOX

Dude.. No offence but this is not the section to post this.. There is section called Que and Ans,.. you may raise this query there and it will be addressed ......
Also to give you a quick ans.. You can backup the device actual ROM using CWM on rooted device (taking iinto considerationg that you know how to root the phone and installl CWM).. This back up will be created on your SD card.. The same can later be used to restore in case wanna revert back or if any challange in installing the new ROM.

I see there are no custom ROM for this device. I'm not a developer but i create ROM's for my owned devices or devices requested.
My friend owns Galaxy Core and wants a lagfree ROM!

Custom recovery and rom request for Intex Aqua Trendy

i want custom recovery and custom roms for my device..if possible pplz provide me the stock rom ..i have already messed up with some system files..
if anyone own this device plz help me.

ok so no one helped me out..but i managed to port a cwm for Intex Aqua Trendy(my device) and successfully flashed it.
If anyone need it.just ask me.
So now i want to flash a custom rom..so if any dev can guide and help me then please.
Else my view towards xda will surely change..which has already started. :/

I'm using Intex Aqua Flash (Dual sim, A-4.0.4)
I can't update anything because Model doesn't allow option "Software Update". It's invisible or removed by Brand itself.
I want to know is there any other to update it or any other compatible ROM for this Model????

ya you can flash a whole new rom onto it..but before that first check if it is SPECIFICALLY for your model.never ever flash a rom of any other device.otherwise you will get an expensive micromax branded brick.
Good luck..
check in system settings>about system[must be in the end]>system update or something...check there if available

You didn't make a backup of your stock ROM in recovery when you first installed it? I'm sure that whatever guides you read when you rooted and installed recovery gave instructions to backup stock before doing anything to your device. If you made a backup then just choose the "restore" option in recovery to restore your backup.
If you didn't make a backup then you'll have to flash your stock firmware via PC or find someone here that has a device like yours and ask them to make a backup that doesn't contain their personal infornation in recovery on their device, then have them upload a copy of that backup for you to download it, then put it on an extsdcard, put the sdcard in the device and restore the copy of the backup in recovery.

Flash stock firmware or restore someone else's backup
Or
Flash a custom ROM. This one is linked in the post above yours, I guess you didn't pay attention to that.
