Hello!
Today I present my first rom for Xperia J
For a long time I wondered whether it makes sense to build rom on a device that is limited potential developers.
Developers, of course, is a little of what I noticed so I decided to also support this device with my rom from Team Blur
Rom is built from source CM and FXP as a whole gives amazing results, of course, with any version of it will be felt
Presenting this rom I can summarize that tried to keep the style and Xperia dose possible custom rom or any changes to improve the stability of the system is not necessarily tweak, but the system files. :fingers-crossed:

First Unlock Bootloader
Flash kernel into rom (zip boot.img) via kernel flasher
Go to CWM
Do format system
Is the FXP and etc kernel is there are other options but the important thing is to do a full wipe
Factory Reset / Wipe date
Wipe cache
Advanced> wipe cache, wipe battery stats
Now Rom> instal zip from SD CARD
If you want ,you can instal GAPPS
Reboot and you're done

Dont say again "WTF?| okay!
Just instal rom + kernel into zip , then flash via Flashtool ONLY baseband from ICS (newest firmware). If you can't use brain and go to google and he say...
And i say this is not Q&A ,this is Dev therards.

Yep sure. You're right but I have a perfect Rom no bugs or lags. Whenever I boost into gaming mode in ram booster it's showing multitasking mode. Anyone getting this problem?

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE FLASHING THIS RELEASE!
1. This ROM will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.
2. Once on this ROM, the most effective way of going back to any other ROM would be to repartition from Odin.
3. While converting the filesystem, your efs that has your IMEI is backed up to /emmc/backup/efs. Keep a backup on your PC just in case.
4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup.

1. WIFI doesn't work perfectly. Network strength doesn't show up and the network often disconnects.
2. There is LAG in the UI due to lack of Hardware Composer.
3. Video recording and playback suffers low framerate issues. Will be fixed soon.
4. Built-in WiFi hotspot doesn't work. Please use third party applications.

I haven't provided gapps link ,take them from cm9 thread.Basically this rom is just like remICS but in my rom you will have all the xperia widgets and apps except core apps(phonebook,messaging) and timescape.We get many acore fc's with them and xperia devices have diff gpu so we will have fc's with timescape too.This is an initial release more to be cumming in further alpha's .Fixed many minor bugs in alpha 2.

No there is no walkman widget but i themed google music widget for now a bit like the walkman .But walkman app is working

No phone, messaging and contacts are not themed.....!!
And yes this ROM is smooth. You can't compare it with any other ROM in smoothness just in some Hrs use.
Generally all the CM9 ROMs are very smooth in starting but it gets lagging with time.
But yes its smooth.

The Ultimate Xperia Z Experience ported to our device. Today we brake the bridge between Xperias and the Desires/Inspires. The ROM is ported from the Xperia Arc S forums. The original ROM was created by rikadrahman. You can find the original thread here. The ROM is fully functional, I have been using it as my daily ROM for nearly 9 hours (LOL! ) . Anyways everything is working including the WiFi. The ROM when ported lacked all the features and the existent ones were misfunctioning. So the ROM was re-engineered with the features existent plus more (e.g Sociallife), also added some more Xperia-ish touches like the Xperia Z lockscreen etc. The ROM is fully fledged with all the latest Xperia features... Enjoy!
Version 4 is officially released with major bugs and performance improvements. All issues must be solved. The download music info bug requiers manual work (take a look at the bug section). To fix the chinese keyboard you must download an alternative keyboard (give feedback on that). Also the lockscreen issue has been solved, just flash the zip in the downloads section.And finally the google setup bug has been solved, just download and flash the new google apps when you reflash the new ROM. Enjoy!

How to install:
For S-OFF:
1. Boot to Recovery

4. Format System

1. Download the new zip, the lockscreen fix, new google apps and inspiremod (if you have an Inspire 4G).
2. Clear cache
3. Format system

6. Get a root explorer and navigate to system->app, mount r/w and long press SemcMetaDataCleanup.apk and delete it.

How is the sound?
Does it have Xperia sound libraries / effects or are they simply from CM?
Would be nice to have a JB ROM with good SQ, and not just with a homemade useless enhancers trying to look like a beats audio.

Try reflashing, I have no such issue... or you can try remaping keys in settings under system.
It really behaves like it's not themed etc. Enjoy! THe fire is not going to be extinguished, enjoy your device!
I am aware of the Music and google bug, but the lockscreen is kinda new... I'll see if I can fix it. Try to play around with the settings a little bit.
First impressions
Ok, I couldn't wait...
The launcher is soooo awesome. It's the same as sony's but the only thing i found missing on the home screen is that pinch-to-overview gimmick that shows all your widgets floating in one screen, but like I said, that's more of a gimmick and I like this (what I have) more.
Ok, now for the not working...
1.) I found that the gallery FC when you try to shoot a panorama which FCs the camera...
2.) I get a lot of "Unfortunately, Download music info has stopped." I also get the same when I try to enter the Visualiser in the walkman app and the Visualiser stops and it returns to walkmen...
3.) Menu button doesn't do anything in the homescreens, but it works everywhere else... Not sure that this is the way it is intended to be...
4.) Video camera has no way of (touch) focusing...
5.) Got a strange wallpaper graphical glitch after some use... I'll reboot and see if it's fixed
So far the ROM is very fast and beautiful. It just has some minor bugs...

Will fix bugs and will update.
In the homescreen menu button doesn't do anything. Panorama is an issue. Try Using 3rd party apps for such things. Enjoy the ROM.

Lock screen is working fine for me (unsecured lock screen) and it is beautiful.
As for the panorama, it's not a big deal for me, I don't use it that often... On the other hand I would love it if you could fix the tap to focus on the video mode. I haven't seen that working in any ROM since ICS...
I'm enjoying this ROM so much. Thanks a LOT! Finally something fresh.

@CedArctic I think that the google setup didn't run on start because you've posted a link to the gapps for android 4.2.2 and this ROM is 4.1.2
Maybe these should be flashed instead?

Recommendation for Unlocked bootloader users: I recommend using Vengeance 1.46 ( not the one with Overclock since the OC is pretty unstable ) in my daily usage it provided butter smooth launcher swiping and apps opening in a short amount of time

You say it's gamming rom. If it is gaming rom you shouldn't add Xperia apps to it because Xperia apps consume more ram than default CM apps.

@lozohcum, Please see the Fix File! I installed Crossbreeder goodbye edition originally checked by typing in terminal Su then getprop net.dns1 it returned a blank instead of 0.0.0.0 that's why the fix file is Crossbreeder 7.1.2
Xperia Apps liek what? WALKMAN, Album and Movies I checked and it doesn't consume any RAM at all, just turn off Music Unlimited Sync on Walkman

Well guys a poll is up regarding if the base rom should be changed. It was bound to happen since AOSB hasn't been updated since January 25 and the amount of manual fixes I can apply is limited (remember I don't build the ROMs myself), still I have applied the latest Bluetooth fixes, kernel and overclock into the rom manually. But the thing is obvious if we change base rom latest features would come fairly quickly. Keep in mind that you can choose more than one option when voting.
The other thing is that it would be nice to have a JB version of the rom, that would not have the bugs Kitkat has, simply because some users like to choose functionality over latest features.
Also this is now a Devdb project so it would be nice if we use it accordingly, bugs in the bug report tab,review in the reviews tab, etc. Of course this is optional, I have no plans on imposing silly rules in the thread either.

I just flashed this Rom, finished setup but Xperia Home Launcher is always showing above error, I can't see even menu,home screen or any app
Edit : installed Nova Launcher now I can access everything

i'm now still using xperia D 4.9
so if i wanted to flash this latest one, i don't have to wipe system, factory reset, cache and dalvik cache right?
the bug i got from 4.9 just incapability to run video camera
but overall cool!

Wifi is screwed up. Somehow something in settings make me lose wifi. I don't know why.

I also got this Wi-Fi problem in phone setup stage,I completed setup with mobile net but after that my Wi-Fi running fine

@Zeroemd: This is my humble request to you, please bring next build of Xperia D with SlimKat base. Because @TJKV is doing awesome work with SlimKat and updating it very frequently. So we will able to taste the Xperia flavour with very recent changes in Rom. And lots of users are using Slimkat after CM11, so all of them will take interest in this Rom also.

Yeah, just flash the incremental update and you are set! Unless you have reasons to wipe your phone and install the whole ROM.

I did not change anything related to the wifi, just Bluetooth. Also this are the first reports of this happening.
Did you guys flahs the incremental update? If so please reflash and report back please.

I have been thinking about it too, i will reconsider after the next Stable Release. I will make a poll to see what the users want. I personally would like to make an JB build, that would not have any of the bugs we are facing in kk. Anyway I will let the people decide.
and guys please try to use the bug report tab, it would be nice. But if you guys want to report bugs in the thread it is ok also.

Quick battery drain
Both official and unofficial ROMs have a (very) quick battery drain
With CM11 my battery lasts 2-4 times but it has less features and now comes without the bootmenu, so I'm using this ROM anyway...
Maybe base should be changed to CM11 plus the bootmenu.
I see. Well, maybe the phone can't go into deep sleep I guess.

You can disable lockscreen notifications and active display or change OC settings and see if that helps. As for the change of base, lets see the results of the poll first.

Its a problem, from the ROMs BT files. It will be solved in next version. (which will be done after the poll ends)

**Read These Notes Before Downloading the ROM!!**
** ROM first time Installation **
First you will need to download the modified recovery from Here (Don't flash it!!)
Make a Backup as usual to your phone stuff like apps, Whatsapp conversations ecc....
Backup your internal sd content, because all its content will be lost so make sure to backup everything like photos, videos ecc....(you can copy the full content on a pc or inside a new folder of your external sd)
Now Reboot inside CWM or TWRP recovery which not includes new partition assignments
Make a Nandroid backup of your entirely ROM and backup it on the external sd
Install the new TWRP recovery that includes new partition assignments
Make a Reboot Recovery (To reboot inside the new one)
Wipe Data as ext4 partition (Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select Data -> Repair or Change File System -> Change File System -> EXT4 -> Swipe)
Make a Wipe for Dalvik Cache, Cache and System
Now you can Download the ROM from the Downloads section under this post
Once you downloaded plug the device on the computer , then mount USB Storage (Make sure that MTP is enabled)
If you finished copying your files than you're free to install the ROM now
** Upgrading through Releases**
First make sure if in the changelog isn't menioned to make a clean install because if it so then you gotta make a clean one
Download the ROM
Reboot Recovery and flash the ROM
At the end make wipe cache and dalvik and reboot
** General Notes **
If you're flashing Smart Connect and Lifelog from Reborn Addons don't try to update them through Google Play if it ask you because they will not work anymore because these two apps are ported for non Xperia apps
DON'T and don't try flash any type of music mod. If you want to flash an audio mod, let me know by PM or post it here on the thread.

**General Notes**
From the Release 1 i included the OTA feature which means Updates over the air but i will not put entirely ROM version because the size of it is quite much (400 mb) so i thought to bring little updates which i will call them Revisions so principally each revision will bring some bugfixes or anykind of improvement because upload the ROM again and again for little changes doesn't worth it.
So basically you don't have to do anything because it is already all prepared by me. I control everything from my computer so all you need to do is to download the Revision and flash it . A notification will be always prompted for new Revision and the file will be saved on sdcard0/Downloads
Some Xperia Apps are not included at the moment due to incopatibillity
F.A.Q
How to remove the nav bar at first boot?
You need to go to Settings from the notification drawer and then go to Resurrection tools and after interface. You will find there an option to disable it
How to remove the google search bar from the Xperia Launcher?
Just keep pressing it. It will be prompted if you want to disable it
You said that in this ROM there is the Xperia Keyboard, where is it?
You need to go to the language and input settings and change the AOSP keyboard with the Xperia One
Can i flash the K^ Kernel?
Yes you can, but i mention that as in the others builds my ROM is provided with the latest sources of K^ Kernel but the one included is the UV one so if you want the exUV one you can freely flash.
After flashing the ROM (Clean install) i can't find the Reborn theme and the Album app
Yes this happens because you made the wipe data after flashing the ROM (The Theme and the Album app are User app)
Will you still release Resurrection Remix updates?
Yes of course, i choosed the Resurrection as my ROM base just because it was my daily ROM and i know how the performance and battery is.
I've got grey background with black text colour with the Reborn Theme which is almost impossibile to be red it in some cases
Yes i know, and i apologize for that but be sure that i'm working on it.
The duration of the first boot is the same as for the others CM 12 ROMs?
Yes, with the GApps installed the first boot takes around maximum 15/20 minutes

I've tried the [ROM][ariesve][OFFICIAL[5.0]Resurrection Remix 5.3.4 on my SG S+ a few weeks ago and it worked well, but it was too lazy, so I switched back to 4.4.2.
Now I have installed your ROM and so far I am pretty impressed & I love it. You've managed to combine the beauty of the Xperia S+ reborn with the cutting edge of Lollipop on an epic phone like S+. Great job man.
I'll post again after a few days of testings
P.S. I am very curious how the phone app will behave when I'll receive/make calls, because the ariesve's ressurection remix had a big lag(bug).

Yeah well depends because i've noticed that after making two phone calls the dialler is very fast.
After two calls the third one took me like 3 seconds
Can I install it for my daily usage???
Because last time i installed 5.0.2 it was verryyy slow and still i m using it. I m also new a these things..

If you follow my mentioned CPU configuration you will not have terrible slowdowns

How about the dialer? Is it working smooth or took same 7 seconds to open?
I am more concern for dialer as this is basic & key to have a phone
I live to test this ROM but needed confirmation on dialer delay/performance.

Read the comments before this one,
The recovery link on 1st post point to CWM recovery and not TWRP. I hope you suggesting to use TWRP_2.8.1.0_GT-I9001_Repartitioned_20150117_Signed.zip.
Is this correct?

Yes sorry my mistake.
I install the ROM and certainly better responsive than other LPs. Dialer (phone) still slow and I don''t see much improvement.
I see phone more responsive with default Governor/IO setting.
Can you please tell me what was the default kernel settings. I want to try default setting as well as your recommended setting for couple of days.
I must appreciate your efforts in making this smoother. The ROM is best LP we have in term of smoothness... and I am sure Nilac will come-up with more improvement.

Yes thanks to remember that (I will add it in the F.A.Q section)
Go in settings from notification drawer and after go to interface. You will find the option to disable the Nav bar
