are you kidding me?
i really wanna know why can't people read before asking?
you don't need clockworkmod to flash 4.2.2
and you can't, if it actually started, you'll actually brick it
do your own searching job in the whole s2 plus forum
there are so many complete guides around the whole forum and nobody reads and keep asking questions which answers have been provided already.
just as @KINGbabasula said
"if everyone is 'just asking', then the whole forum will be filled with useless and meaningless questions"
Ok first of all you dont need to be such nervous about it -.- ... Im a newbie and dont understand very well the process . Can you please post a link of it it will be appriciated . I will delete the post then evetybody will live in peace

erm,you have the wrong concept:
first of all,the method you use is for custom rom or any modded rom with zip file.
but what u have there is official firmware, which meant for flashing with odin(some sort of samsung's flashing program)
1)exact the file u downloaded until you got .tar.md5 in the end of the file name.
2)download odin 3.04
3)select ''I9105XXUBMH4_I91050XEBMH....tar.md5'' in the ''pda''
4) click ''start'' once u connected your phone in download mode(power+vol up+home button)
something like the photo i attached
Nothing happened

Brian was right, you flash 4.1.2 again, try to separate firmware and don't get confuse. This is the link

Yep you have to know what is a firmware and what is a custom rom. Or you'll risk bricking your phone in your further flashing

Now I am running Darky Rom 10.2.2 with Crysis Sensation theme and the funny thing is I am able to i am able to flash the10.2.2 zip file and the Sensation theme but nothing else..
I even was able to flash MIUI which I was using for a few days before I eventually got this same error when i went to reflash it
Anyone here have a solution to this problem because I am starting to give up
Any help would be much appreciated
Disable signature verification, and see if that works. Most likely a problem with your ROM, SD Card, or some magical obstruction making the phone not read the SD Card properly.

I disabled signature verification but still did not work...I can say it is probably a problem with my rom or sd card yet its odd that I can flash Darky Rom to 10.2.2, the key layout and a theme but nothing else...I am so confused lol
I flashed CWM recovery via Rom Manager which I read that I shouldn't of done...But I heard that I can flash back to stock then reroot my device...Any thruth to this? I just want to flash Cyanogen mod to my device, is that too much to ask lol
It's not a zip within a zip is it?

No it isn't
I know it has something to do with flashing CWM via Rom Manager because I wasn't able to flash any roms after I did that
Hi:
Following gtg465x's instructions in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107881, I updated my stock recovery to modded 3e recovery. However, continuing with the update for ClockworkMod Receovery, I see a failure.
Here's what I see when I try to "apply update from sdcard":
-- Install /sdcard ...
Finding update package ...
Opening update package ...
Verifying update package ...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
It appears the 3e recovery I have isn't modded, and hence is still trying to verify the signature. I've tried downloading the (modded) 3e recovery a couple of times, just to make sure I'm getting the right one.
Interestingly, I don't have a file called recovery in /system/bin, but I do have one in / and one in /sbin. What gives?
I am on GINGERBREAD.UCKL2.
Any suggestions?
Use his video on youtube.

Edit: Sorry didn't see the end of your post. I always install cwm right away before I flash another rom.
Hi:
Tried exactly that. Unfortunately, didn't do the trick for me. I wonder if it's perhaps because of those extra recovery files in / and /sbin. Is it safe to delete them?

just dl sgs kernel flasher if you're already on gb.
flash entropy's kernel to give you recovery
I do not know if it is safe to delete them. Only thing I would know to do is to go back to stock and install cwm to see if that works. Sorry that I'm not much help.

can't be done on gb, you're trying a froyo proceesure.
kl2 is even worse cuz its hard to root. you need a custom kernel. how did you getroot anyway?
If he still had root, sgs flasher will work.
If not, heimdall one click defuse kernel in dl mode?
Would odin entropy also give you recovery to flash other ROM?

yes that all would work. but defuse is froyo so it is temporary so a gb kernel in a cwm package must be on the sdcard first to flash the phone back to a bootable state. kernel flasher will backup the kernel on the phone and make it cwm flashable, but if you have kernel flasher there is no need for defuse. defuse oneclick is a means to an end on gb. it's only foe the purpose of getting cwm to flash something else.
I had this problem just a few minutes ago things how I did it... First use root explorer down load the mod 3e place it in the system folder in the bin ( I didn't see it with astro but root I did) I renamed the recover in there as recoveryold then place the new recovery in there. Now make sure the permission the same as the original.. Now once that done just back out and close root manager... Goto to rom manager go into reboot into recovery. Then once it reboots cycle down to were it says install repackage (or something like that). Choose that option you may have to do it a few times.. I did but it worked... So then you should have cwm?.. Hope that helps

Hi,
Which version is recommended, the highest that is compatible. According to the ROM manager page of clockworkmod, this is the only one available for the nexus one.

you would have to get a ported (non offical: should work just as fine as offical but there could be some other added stuff.) version since you want Cm 10.2 5.x.x.x should work but just to be on the safe side you should try getting 6.0.4.5. should only have to download a zip of whatever you find and flash it in your current recovery.

I get Image Update Error when updating the 6.0.4.5 version. I've chosen on for another device because there isn't any 6.0.4.5 version for Nexus One.
I checked the free available space. In the SD Card I've have plenty (more than 2GB), but /system has 0% available. This might cause the flash to fail. Is there any option to free up space before I flash the ROM?
Update: even after formatting the system directory I still get the same error, this it not the problem so it seems.

your gonna have to ask the nexus ones offical Q&A then http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-one/help if i right with this problem you have to do something specifically and differently for every device so just ask the pros on your device first.

Status 7 error comes due to system folder being full.. I m not a nexus one user and its a common problem..
Open the rom zip of your file delete some apps from system/app then flash the rom..
This will solve your status 7 error..
Hi, I read lots of posts here in xda on how to install custom ROM on my HTC Salsa, lot of times i felt bad as the posts always required my phone to be S-OFF. I couldn't find a nice and easy solution for this.
However somewhere i read that it is not mandatory to have S-OFF and which is when i just started experimenting on my phone.
I did unlock the bootloader from HTC dev . But i still have S-on.
I downloaded some *i9500 custom ROM and copied it to my downloads folder in sdcard. Tried to install the zip from sdcard from my CWM Recovery and it failed always. But then i thought that it could be the problem with image which i downloaded as it is not supported. So then i found one more post for HTC Salsa and downloaded the image from the link given in there.
Here is the link of that post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2745185
Here is the link from where i downloaded the zip : http://download.androidarmv6.org/_builds/icong/
Here is the image which i downladed : cm-11-20140719-NIGHTLY-icong.zip
After getting into CWM Recovery i tried to install the same and at first it looked that it is going to install but in some time i get some error like
set_metadata_recursive.... error STATUS 7. INSTALLATION ABORTED.
Then i thought i was doing to wrong and as per some post .. i formatted all the /boot /system /sdcard ....partitions listed in CWM.
Now my sdcard is completely formatted .
After i copy my image there and try to install the same :
I get :
--Installing: /sdcard/cm-11-20140719-NIGHTLY-icong.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
E: Error in .sdcard/cm-11-20140719-NIGHTLY-icong.zip
(Status 0)
Installation aborted.
I can't even reboot to my old ROM. .. Not sure if its lost completely. .. Need help urgently.
Please help me recover or reinstall any ROM just for my phone to come back to life again.
