Hello everyone!I am looking for developers, and idealists in the care and creating a full flash based-based CyanogenMod 7.x!
I think that CM7.x is the most stable firmware for our phone, all other versions (CM9-CM11), they are not suitable for everyday use!

i think it's the worst idea
cm 7 is bassed on android 4.0.4 can't support new games and programes and aslo cm themes and when we port it (IF WE )
it will be FULL of bugs and the kernal will be 3.x the same as we porting it
so let's port cm 10.2 bassed on 4.3 will unlock new drivers and performance improved and other things
so waiting is the best solution for cm 10.2 while we porting it , cm 10.1.2 will finshed of bugs

CM 7 is Android 2.3.7 but it does not 4.0.4! Essentially all of this is true, but, for our better devaysa SM7 will not, other versions SM9-CM11 is not for the weak of our devices!

Please!

Guys , please , tell some respect to the [DEVELOPER] not because he did something , but he is working on , to bring the best performance .
He's working on this , he had chosen this ROM , surely there's a reason behind that!
Tell some respect , rather than SPAMMING , contribute
I'm with CM7.x , if you port it , that'd be great !
Thanks :highfive:

Question for cm-kernel developers

Hi xda
Instead of dealing with a stable CM7 CM9 why do not you? (Google translate.. Sorry)
İ want stable cm7.. Because cm9-cm10 is buggy..
If you want stable Rom use e.g. Frabkenstainmod, i think cm 7 is stable enough, i think its a good thing what dhiru is doing and other dev are also doing. They are working on stable cm 9 and cm 10 and when that get stable, the roms will be much better than cm 7

Devs dont want to waste time on an OS no one wants to use. They want to make a stable CM9/10. Why work on an old OS when you can push more effort on a new one?

Like what BassBlaster said, why would developers spend time on CM 7 when they can help CM9 and CM10 be stable. ICS and JB have more Mods, Kernels and Rom then Gingerbread, and the designed are more nice than Gingerbread. And I'm still curious what makes your phone laggy on JB and ICS.

true cm10 not stable but cm7 good
i totally agree with cm7 to be built. it would be a lot better than current stock rom and would be more stable than cm10. it would also offer a lot more options of customisation than any other roms for ace plus
If possible, port cmx i.e. CyanmobileX. It is much more supeior than cm 7 in tems of customisation. But, we really need cm 7.
Thanks.

Unfortunately none of the msm7x27 has got the CyanogenMod 7 ,if there was one ,we would have a PORTED CM7 until now .Some days ago TheWhisp said that he will port the CM7 because it would be much better and Stable ,compared to CM10 .We have everything we need ,Kernel Source for GingerBread but problem is ,that the CyanogenMod 7 or 7.2 needs a special kernel .But I think it would be much easier to Build a CM7 over the CM10 .

I like Jana's ROM, but yeah it all depends on your preferences, you should research a bit, problem is that there is so many custom ROMs
just wanna share.in my opinion and i always trying each newest cusROM..here my reference
- CM based: use CM 7 or 9 customROM.you can use pure CM or just CM based.it's fast and suitable for our fit.You can try CM 10 but it's laggy,to hard for our fit
You can try Jellybean Experience v3 by Tejkumarvusirikala,it's awesome.my suggest, use CM 7 based.no major bug found.
- Stock based: offcourse this is the most suitable one.because it's from stock rom that has been modified. all working guarantee
After all,you have to read the custom rom thread totally, cause there will be feedback from other member or user about the current rom.and the support from the developer offcourse.
the most important is all system working 100%.whatever the custom ROM you use.
sorry for my bad english

[Q]Confused between various KitKat ROMs ! Need help......

Hey guys, I need some help regarding various KitKat Roms. I used to keep myself updated with xda an year back, but now as its my 12th going on, I couldn't do so, and I don't even have enough time to read those 1000s of posts!:banghead:
So plz help me differentiate b/w mainly these two roms-
1) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572199
And
2) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2589303
Below are my queries--
1) Which of them is more stable for daily use?
2) I read that speaker phone isn't working. That means the normal mode(when we pickup call) or when we switch it to loudspeaker?
3) In the 1st thread posted above, there are 3 builds- Jenkins build, OMINI Rom, and a build by hephappy. What's main diff. Between them??
Any help is very appreciated!
Also, please don't post posts like -- "Flash this its awesome!!"
Or,
"I use this, it'll blow your mind"
Suggestions from developers are more recommended

I use the one from mukulsoni as daily Driver and am totally ok with it, I chose is as the other one still sais that it's early experimental. If you use the sweetnsour Kernel and the newest Version (v5) you should be happy.I don't realy see any bigger troubles so I'd suggest you install it and see for yourself, as flashing doesn't take to long and before installing to much, you just check if the main Functions suit your needs

Talking when you pick up is fine just the switching to loudspeaker is supposed to not work. I never use loudspeaker in calls so I can't tell you if it's true but normal calling works

Can't really help you there, but it has as far as I know to do with the different defs working on it.

Jenkins build is original cm 11 build
Omni rom is different rom its based on omni sources its still in very early stage
so dont use them
Hephappy build is far old one
its just a preview version of kitkat
so dont use this one
IF u wanna use daily use jenkins cm 11 build
if u r intrested to try new rom
try omni
There's basically no difference between those two ROMs. Almost the same.
Both ROMs are pretty stable except battery drain and Bluetooth issue with some phones. And for SD-EXT, only link2sd works at the moment.
Yea. You cam talk normally by picking up the phone but won't hear anything in loudspeaker mode.
Jenkins is a kind of build server and Jenkins build are the builds built by it. You can set its source from Github and downloads from androidarmv6's jenkins.
Omni ROM is a kind of with many added features other than stock android or CyanogenMod. Its not much stable as of now. You can get experimental builds from here and submission tests here
Builds by Hephappy are the ones which Hephappy (a great developer) built. They were the first ones to have workinh KitKat. But not suitable for daily use. You can find them here (KitKat builds). Hephappy's folder (all builds)
Every build except the Omni ROM is pretty stable to use as daily driver. Omni to become stable soon :good:
Hope this helped you

Best custom rom?

Hello everyone.
My friend owns this device and has asked me to flash a custom Rom. Now I've found many thanks to the awesome devs out there.
As you people have more experience about the roms, which according to you all is the most stable and almost bug free rom?
Also please suggest a good kernel.

Try cyanogenmod11 (m8) .
Kernel: Mosh kernel or nebula kernel.
I agree.....for me CM 11 + Mosh kermel is OK.... Good Job !

yes Cyanogenmod 11 (M8) is the best with liquid smooth 3.1, but with EVERY rom i had SODs -.-
Hi! I used CM11, but I had quite a few bugs and app crashes. Even the UI crashed a lot. Now I am using AxxionKat (Android 4.4.4) and I am REALLY happy. I still have some of the CM11 bugs, but at least my apps don't crash anymore. It is an OFFICIAL ROM, devs are really working on it. I highly recommend it! :good:

Did u use cooldev's or beast's cm? Beast's cm is m8 and cooldev's m7
I used cooldev's I am not sure about the differences between M7 and M8, but decided to give a try to the Axxion. Wasn't disappointed. Of course Beast's is a stable ROM, but it's still unofficial. That was the dealbreaker for me
