[Q] Galaxy ACE Plus EFS Backup - Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500

How to take backup of EFS partition of Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus (H=GT-S7500)? The KTool by Hellcat is incompatible and I could not backup it using EFS professional. What should I do?

try the efs backup tool by xenon92 on the playstore

Easiest way to backup efs is just download root browser from play store locate efs folder in root browser and move that folder into ur SD card or wherever u want

Am I the only one who doesn't have efs folder on my phone? Runing CM10.2.

Search the folder in root browser

I opened Root Explorer and put in search "efs" and it didn't found any folders named efs.

I can see efs in root folder using E S File Explorer, but when I open efs folder ES says it is empty?
Should there have been something in the efs folder?

efs folder?

Howdy a while ago i backed up my efs folder with es file explorer but after going to ICS NexusBeam I felt the desire to re back it up. I went to go back in EFS but for the life of me cant find this folder. I now have a folder called "efs backup" in there with a tar file but cant find the same folder i have backed up anywhere. I have root perm and mount sd on.... can someone tell me where this folder is hiding now?
thanks

Can't you do a search in file explorer? We wouldn't know where your backup is.

[Q] How can I repair a corrupted /efs?

Well, I have installed XB3 for I9003 and I have no signal. I have a copy of the original EFS directory but it seems it is corrupted because Root explorer doesn`t let me overwrite it. If I flash with a stock Rom with Phone EFS clear, do I solve my problem?
Thank you for your help.
Bye
In root explorer use R/W instead on R/O to copy the folder otherwise try nitrality to restore efs....

[Q] Some questions about the EFS folder

Hey, I'm new to flashing ROMs. I've heard that backing up your efs is important, so I made a backup using TWRP, and copied the efs folder using ES File Manager to my SD card, and then to my computer. Will I be able to restore the imei and other things by either using TWRP or copying the efs folder back to the root of the phone? Just a question.
Unless you specifically selected EFS as part of TWRP backup - no, you won't.
If you did select EFS for backup in TWRP - yes, you will.
Thanks for clearing that up!

No, I don`t think you can.
You should be able to without root in recovery but will have to be unlocked. You can backup efs in twrp or flash the efs backup zip in recovery (twrp or cwm)
