So I have a Nexus 4 and Got the new Nexus 7 2013 edition. I'm now in the market for a charging pad that can do both of the devices at once. Any suggestions?
Just got the n7 myself too. Its on its way. Wireless charging might not be a deal breaker, but my mattress is tall and I hate plugging in and unplugging every time I want to use it from bed. Hopefully there is a good dual qi charger for these 2 devices.

I found the Energizer® Dual Inductive Charger is there anything similar?

This is the only one that I've seen that does 2 at once. I have it and it charges mine and girl friend's n4 great at the same time. I don't have a new nexus 7 to try though.

My gs3 running beans and previously clean rom 7 will not charge using any oem Samsung charger. I thought maybe it was just mine but I used a friends and had the same result. I can plug it in and it will both continue to discharge and occasionally just stop charging.
Now I definitely have a looser port because some chargers are quite loose and I've managed to find one that stays snug, however I don't get why my or any Samsung charger won't charge my s3. If anyone has an idea of what would cause this I'd be eternally grateful. Been Google searching like crazy.

It must have been something that got placed in the charging port inadvertently. Best thing you can do is get a warranty replacement. Or check prices for third party service repairs.
You can try the incipio charge case as well. It plugs into your phones charge port. And has a separate one you can use to charge your phone. Or you can try an external charger to charge your battery outside of your phone.

Does the N5 holds on the N4 wireless charger?
Does it work ok?
Thanks
Yes

There's no reason why it shouldn't work. I fully plan on using my Nexus 5 with the LG WCP-700 wireless charger that I've been using with my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 for many months now.

Works great here, no complaints. Seems to "stick" to the charger well and have not had any slipping off the charger.

Great to hear that... my little charger have been sitting there for month with no one to charge
Mine works just fine. It doesn't stick to the charger like my Nexus 4 did which means I can pick it off one handed without lifting up the charger too. It doesn't slip off though.

Anyone else when they plug the charger in the wall and put your ear up to it. Even if the device isn't plugged in. Do you hear that....crazy sound?

Yup. Its crazy. It will make that noise for 5 or so seconds after I unplug it. I wonder why.

my Nexus 4 charger does that. they seem to be exactly the same. but my nexus 5 charger doesnt do it. i think it's just the components in the charger making noise. i've never had an issue with my nexus 4 when using the noisy charger. i've heard that when others contacted LG about it they were requested to send in the phone as well as the charger to get it replaced/fixed. but i never bothered with it as it worked fine and never did anything weird.
Lol.. After having the phone for close to a month now I first started noticing this today.. Funny coincidence with this thread

Nothing wrong. It is the charger DC/DC inductor core vibration upon switching current. If the inductor is sealed good, no sound, otherwise you hear something.
Found this too, but my AC charger only does it sometimes, usually when the phone is almost charged, say 96% or so.
Not sure about normal, I used my Nokia charger last night to charge my N5, in all the time it i've charged my Lumia 1020 it's never buzzed, guess what , does with the N5 plugged in, TBH didn't feel safe and unplugged it while I slept.
I was browsing on Aliexpress.com than I found this Qi wireless charging receiver and charging Pad for Nexus 6P. I don't know if its good or not, or if it has Quick Charging function(probably not) or not. Just want to share it to everyone that's looking for something like this.
Thanks for this. But there is already a thread about this...

According to the page it outputs 5V at 1A, definitely not fast charging... but I really wouldn't expect that on something like this.
I used to have a similar style micro USB QI charger I used in the past and it worked fine on my Micro USB devices.
For me quick charging is more important to me than the convenience of wireless charging. Unless you plan to use wireless charging exclusively I find having to take off and put on the adapter often a hassle.
Still nice find for those that really want wireless charging.

Don't know if this is even possible, but it would be perfect if there was one of these qi receivers with USB C that had a kind of pass through USB C plug, so that you could have the qi receiver plugged into the phone, but still be able to plug in a USB C cable from the wall when you want the faster charger.

That wouldn't be possible without breaking the USB spec, and making it really bulky. These little qi receivers are easy to unplug, so that shouldn't be a big concern.

What about if you were to stick the qi receiver to the back of the phone and then put a case on over the phone and receiver, can you still unplug it fairly easily when you want to use the USB wall charger?

That's what I was implying rather than using a pass through. There's still a possibility the receiver will not work if directly touching the phone depending on how it's made, so once it can be confirmed working that should be fine.

Oh ok. I may go ahead and order one and give it a try. I just thought maybe with a case on over it, that the case may pinch the cable of the receiver and not allow you to be able to unplug it from the phones USB port without removing the case first (which would be a pain).

I might order one too since I have a plethora of wireless chargers for my S7 Edge. I'm hoping they made it correctly so it can be in direct contact with the phone (I.e. jts shielded correctly)
I have a bunch of chargers as well from my s6. So excited to get this and use them again.

OK so got mine today and works as advertised. Tonight will be the first night to test. It's slower that's for sure when it comes to charging. The nub that plugs in isn't too big, which is nice. Takes some getting used to.
If you got time on your hands and have a wireless charge handy all the times then I would recommend this. If you dont have time then stick with usb c charging ad it's faster.

Does it heat up at all? Would it be safe under a TPU case? I've ordered one along with a N6P so just waiting for the deliveries now.
Doesn't heat up, at least not that I have observed. I am using a tpu case. The fosmon cases and not an issue at all with charging.

I've got my receiver and it looks pretty good. The plug is a bit thicker than I expected, but then it seems very sturdy. Unfortunately I don't have the actual handset yet so still waiting to use it. Hopefully it will slot in nicely behind a Diztronic case.
Pictures with a case around it would be nice
