So when I got my N5 I installed light flow and it seemed to work fine. Then I noticed there was an update for: "Nexus 5 compatibility" so I grabbed it and now it doesn't work with hangouts.
Anyone else having issues with light flow? I've tried the run in foreground setting and that doesn't seem to help.
Thanks

So im pretty new to rooting and custom ROM's and the whole thing. I recently did a data wipe from Gummy 1.2 on my toro Galaxy Nexus and flashed 1.2.5 works wonderfully but my LED notifications weren't responding as they normally do. Uninstalled then reinstalled Light Flow, made sure it was turned on in my settings and set my notifications as usual. Still nothing. So i uninstalled again and simply used the Gummy settings for the LED. still nothing when i receive a text. Is this a software issue or is it possible my LED light just died? This is not a deal breaker or anything but id grown fond of that little light :/
Just tested the notifications in Light Flow. Nada. Also forgot to mention im on the Cherry Theme included in the Gummy 1.2.5 ROM. Don't know if that affects it. Should i flash my backup and see if it works on there?
Hello,
I've been using Nexus 5 since 2 weeks and I got an issue with the led.
Sometimes (actually 3 times) while the nexus is charging and I recieve a whatsapp, the led blinks forever and only solves if I reboot..
I don't know if this happens only with whatsapp and neither tried to use Light Flow instead native LED app.
Somebody got anything like this?
Thanks
The LED is inconsistent for sure. I'm using Light Manager and it seems to help, but it's still not perfect. Often I find there are just no notifications for various apps. A reboot seems to solve the issues. I've never had the issue with the light not stopping though, but I don't use WhatsApp.

if you are stock, i'd imagine there may still be a few apps out there that are not currently optimized for kitkat yet. check into that. cheers
Hey Everyone,
I have installed factory image of 5.0 on my Nexus & since then I am facing the issue. My screen doesn't go off during calls & light sensor is also not working; Auto Brightness is also not working. I tried pulling back to 4.4 through which I made sure my hardware is working fine. It wasn't working in 5.0 Lollipop.
Has anybody else faced the same issue & does anyone know how to fix it?
Have attached the screenshot from CPU-Z.

I have the same problem...
Any fix?
On my original G Flex I was able to use an app called Light Manager, and that worked flawlessly. It seems Lollipop doesn't want to play nice. One of the features I became most accustomed to was the ability to know exactly what app had a notification before even turning on the screen.
Anybody had any luck controlling their LED color and flash rate based on specific app notifications? If so, what app do you use?
Light Flow
UPDATE:
I got Light Flow working. I'm not sure what exactly I did, but it involved toggling the sound settings until I was on loud (sound on) mode. I toggled the Notification LED switch in the settings. I have Light Flow running in Root mode, but I'm pretty sure it was working before I toggled that. I also have it controlling led:flash_0, led:flash_1, and wled under the Additional LEDs found section.
As LED control was one of the most important features for me, I'm not going to futz any further with what I have working. However, if others experience the issue, they're welcome to try each of these things individually to isolate what actually got it to work.
Lightflow not working with Flex 2
Hey Cmcarboni,
would you be so kind as to post your settings with which your Flex 2 functions with Lightflow?
The led:flash_0 and led:flash_1 I can get to work, but I am just interested in the front notification LED and tried nearly every combination of settings without any success.
Thanks in advance!

Hey guys,
Been digging around a bit for a solution but haven't found anything so far...
Anyway, HDR is normally set to "auto" in the camera app. Over the past few days, whenever the HDR is used if auto decides to use it or if it is manually selected) it turns everything an extremely blue hue. I initially thought it was taking a negative image but green sections still appear OK.
Any ideas how to stop it doing that, while still being able to use HDR? The phone isn't rooted, so all I've been able to do without a full reset is clear settings of the camera app.
And it just seems to be Samsung's app - Snapchat and Instagram work fine.
If anyone has any ideas let me know
