In /system/app there's no Trebuchet.apk (it was there in 10.2). I haven't tried this ROM, but it looks like there is no Trebuchet here. Or it has a different file name.

It does contain updated trebuchet. You can grab it from the zip(something like Luncher3 or similar).

Yupp, my mistake, there's Launcher3.apk in /system/app.
[EDIT]
But... I cannot install it. Installer says package is broken.
Guys, any idea how is the memory usage? Is it really for low end devices.
Thanks for ur work dev!

@czechop can you post some photos about the rom? (Who does it look like, etc...)
The time has come. I'm. Installing it.
[EDIT]
I was too fast again. Well... First thing is TRWP refused to install gapps. The other: I coudn't restore my apps with Titatium Backup since it couldn't gain root access. I'll try the next release.
Besides, I like the new tap button sound. It's less offensive than the previous one.
[EDIT 2]
Downloaded some other zip with gapps for 4.4, flashed and... phone died - I even cannot enter bootmenu.
So that's the story for today.
[EDIT 3]
Finally after 3 hours I'm when I started at the beginning.
Besides, does any of you have a flashable zip file with TRWP which from one hand can be flashed with an old CWM recovery (the one from droid2bootstrap), and from other hand can flash latest 10.2 ROMs? If I had something like that, I would save 2 hours of work...

It looks similart to 4.3. Not so blue - more grayish blue tint. Also screen font is more compact (similar to that Nokia had on Symbian devices). Quite smooth, at least as smooth as 4.3 - but I didn't have a chance to test it deeper.
And now what the matter with your phone? You have to flash sbf, and do everything (rooting,etc...)from the beggining?

Yes, I've already done it.
SBF -> root -> bootstrap -> CM10 -> Engle's CM10.1 -> Czechop's 10.2
If only I had a TRWP zip which can be flashed from old boostrap app the way would be shortened to:
SBF -> root -> bootstrap -> TRWP -> Czechop's 10.2
And another interesting thing. The biggest problem of MS2 is a locked bootloader, yes? But thanks to it I didn't brick my phone. I'm using Linux and usually flash SBF from inside a VirtualBox Windows machine. Today something went wrong, and virtual machine froze during early flashing stage. I had to disconnect MS2 during flash. At that point when I put battery, a screen similar to power+camera+vol_up appeared saying that code is broken, but I was still able to flash SBF again (this time under "real" Windows). Lucky me, because I thought I will have to upgrade my phone and leave MS2 threads.
hey guys!!!
Sorry for my ignorance, but, what's the difference between the cm11 download and the AOSP download???
Thanks!!

AOSP is hard google code as is, and cm11 is a customization of AOSP.
Hello.
So I moved one small step further: managed to root AOSP 4.4 with an app called Kingo Android Root (very easy one click method performed under Windows - there are some information that it looks suspicious, and some suggest it might install some malware, but for me it worked like charm).
Now there's one more thing that prohibits me from daily use. I have no mobile data access - I can call phone, but data connection is possible only with wi-fi. Has any of you encountered such problems?
And last: I'm not able to install gapps provided in first post. Is anyone else affected too?
Thanks
Chris

This is a STRICTLY AOSP Gingerbread build for the Motorola Milestone.
Most of the credits goes to the amazing guys from CyanogenMod, nadlabak, f_pasha, mtwebster, rcerqueira, koush, MDijkstra, Skrilax_CZ, cvpcs and everyone else that had the patience to help me out figuring out how to put everything together.
To get it working for you, the baseband files for your region should be applied thru OpenRecovery as usual; you can get them at Dexter’s site: http://dext3r.komodin.org/.
Default language is set to PT-BR, change at the initial screen for your likings.
If you are currently using any Froyo release, you don’t need to do anything else, just copy the update to the OpenRecovery update folder and install as usual. If you’re not using any Froyo release, you need to apply a 2.2 SBF first.
Please note that FULL WIPE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for new installations. If you're upgrading from any previous SMBR Gingerbread build, you only need to wipe caches.
CHANGELOG
Build 7:
- Updated to AOSP master branch, hundreds of bugfixes.
- Fixed some issues with wifi (props to nadlabak)
- Fixed color blending issues (mostly visible on scroll glow).
- Fixed some video recording issues, now uses h264/aac for high quality mode.
- Some changes on APN list for Brazilian carriers.
Build 6:
- More memory tuning. Now based on Google’s recommendation for low memory devices.
- Zipaligned all Google Apps
- Fixed light sensor (props to nadlabak)
- Disabled 3D drawer again (will provide as a separate patch)
- Added Nexus S wallpapers.
- Several other bugfixes that might result in crash of the phone.
Build 5:
- More memory tuning. This should fix a plethora of problems (browser downloads, market, notifications, and so on).
- Reverted to use a slightly older kernel (g4bc8ed0). Hopefully this will fix the reboots.
- 3D drawer is back due to popular demand.
- Enabled SIP over 3G networks.
- Removed some unnecessary libraries from the system (used only by Froyo).
- Fixed a couple of EGL issues. Nothing major.
Build 4:
- Skipped
Build 3:
- Fixed gps/compass (props to nadlabak)
- Fixed hires video recording (cvpcs)
- Massive memory tuning.
- JIT is disabled again -- yes, your linpack will suck, but you'll get much smoother experience overall.
- Disabled 3D drawer on Launcher2 -- too slow.
- Removed the OTA updater for now to save some memory.
Build 2:
- Fixed GMail/GReader breakage, now it works as expected.
- HSPA icon shows instead of just 3G.
- Screen off animation turned on.
- USB connected icon fixed.
- Some memory tuning done.
- Added full AOSP languages with dictionaries where available.
- Added full APN list based on CyanogenMod’s.
KNOWN BUGS
- Starting the camera using the hardware camera button unleashes hell.

How about the APAC nandroid? Or will it need to be a 2.2 sbf (latest one is the VIVO one right?)?
Bah downloading both anyway
APAC nandroid will do. Any working Froyo release works. We just need the VR and the basic 2.2 partitions.
wow.. good news , does radio/gsm work??
reveiw please....
omg!
everytime i finish setting up and install everything someone comes out with new irresistible release...
downloading right now
so? how is it?
this is a great thing to start the day with..

And so it begins..! Gingerbread on Milestone!!
Just a question though: Has the problem with the GSM Radio been solved? Because if we can't make calls, the ROM is only for those who use Milestone as their secondary phone.
Yes, the radio is working.

Edgar, just another question if you have the time explaining me the following:
Although I've read the first post about Basebands, because I've never done it before, I don't know how to do it..
What should I do through OpenRecovery to have a working phone in Europe (Greece)?
Thank you for your time.
Any reviews? Problems? I wanna know what are the bugs before I flash this.

Its exactly the same steps as to install the ROM, you just need to put the update zip at OpenRecovery update folder and apply it.
For Greece, the correct baseband is this one:

Which gapps should we use? At goo.im aren't gapps for 4.3
Gesendet von meinem MB526 mit Tapatalk 2
I don't see any official nightlies or betas/alphas CM10.2 for even Nexus 4...but we already have a build? Hah who needs official! And no gapps it seems, I'll see if I can get it from the stock dump somewhere..
Okay Nexus 4 has an unofficial CM10.2 too, here.
Also gapps for 4.3, this might work for now?
EDIT: Okay slimmed it down from some 170MB down to around 19MB as it now replaces the keyboard in the ROM with one where swipe works without crashing it. Once the ROM's keyboard is fixed my gapps can go back down to around 9MB here
WoW, it really comes!! Thanks very much!!
its the same gapps at 4.2.2 ?
Thanks
So it begins... downloading now! Will report soon. Thanks again Quarx, you seriously rock.
Great! So, if the are no new hard to fix bugs, I hope that Bluetooth can be eventually fixed so I can move from cm10.

Another one here ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2378992
@Quarx is the new Focal camera included?? Would it conflict with the Camera in the Gapps package?
By the way, I took a look at the size, it's 184MB for this nightly, quite big for our limited system partition. We started having problems with cm10.1 already having to resort to minimal gapps, to successfully install cm10.2 plus gapps (when gapps are officially released) will require a considerable butchering of the .zip.

When you enter TWRP, wait a while before you do anything  Go through the menus a bit and if it doesn't reboot in ~20secs it most likely won't reboot until you tell it to That's my strategy with TWRP, at least, and it serves me well that way
Can I install 4.3 without factory reset/data wipe over 4.2.2 (Quarx's CM10.1 July 9 build?)
Before anyone sneers at me for being a n00b, let me hasten to clarify that I did install 10.1 - when it first came out - over CM 10 without a factory reset and my Defy managed to work fine from then to now (in fact I had a lot fewer problems than most people who were reporting).
What is more, a few days ago when I decided to factory wipe and install one of the July builds afresh, I ran into so many problems that I had to restore a nandroid backup and go back to my non-factory-wiped state.
So, can I? Has anyone done it?
Oh, and Quarx, you defy belief, man.
No-name CM10.2 nightlies
NOTE: THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. CONTRIBUTIONS ARE WELCOME!
(see build setup detailed below)
With that said: Welcome to the No-name CM10.2 nightlies ROM.
Who is this ROM for?
This is a ROM for people who are so eager to try bleeding edge software that they are willing to test-drive it, all bugs included, while it is being developed.
If you value a stable daily-driver with a minimum of issues over everything else, this ROM is probably not for you. There will be bugs. CM10.2 is still in early phase of development, after all.
What's working:
Wi-Fi
GPS
Headphone
All docking stuff
CM Features
AOSP Keyboard
Bluetooth
Micro SD Card & Internal storage
Launcher
Lockscreen
Auto rotate
Camera (99%)
YouTube HD playback
Unresolved, confirmed issues
Front facing camera in Camera app (works in Skype etc)
CM Focal (OMX Codec issue)
Installation:
If coming from any non-4.3.x/CM10.2-based ROM, a factory reset is very much recommended.
Although CM does have official instructions for just upgrading from 10.1.
(0. Backup your existing ROM)
1. Download latest nightly to device.
2. Download special TF101 4.3 gapps linked below.
3. Boot into recovery. TWRP is recommended over CWM.
4. Flash ROM. (This also wipes /system and any mods you already have.)
5. Flash special TF101 Gapps.
6. Reboot.
Basically, the normal procedure for any ROM.
No-name parts with extra features can optionally be installed from market.
If you feel like donating, you can install Straitjacket which is my paid app with some extra features. Plus it might give you a warm fuzzy feeling for being a good guy.

I can second that this issue is no longer present, but now I get things related to bionic/libc (for NetBSD!!!) instead...
Don't think it's really realated, but I just want to make sure we don't have any differences which can affect the result. What version of Java are you running?
This is mine:

This commit was the cause of the bionic/libc error. I got this before too, so i skipped that commit. I recommend to use my android_bionic repository, replace it with the current CM10.2.
https://github.com/TheMrcool212/android_bionic/tree/cm-10.2
For the java, i got the same version too:
Code:
[email protected]:~$ java -version
java version "1.7.0_25"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.3.10) (7u25-2.3.10-1ubuntu0.13.04.2)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode)
What's working (Tested on my own stock CM10.2 build)
Bluetooth
Dock battery & keyboard layout.
USB Dock (Only tested with pendrive) & SD Card
Micro SD Card & Internal storage
Launcher
Lockscreen
Auto rotate
Confirmed issues
AOSP Keyboard crashes on certain time, even when not using it
Camera & CM Focal
Weird window animation bug when going to home screen.
Back button doesn't work, even on keyboard (I used pie instead)
Menu button, even on keyboard too.
What's not confirm yet to be working
Wi-Fi (due to keyboard issue)
GPS (No Wi-Fi access)
The build of mine and him are just the same, since we are using the same repositories.

+1, but will follow this thread with more than average interest
Note top self/personal reminder:
- try flashing Google keyboard on top of AOSP keyboard.
- try building with non generic cpu variant which is not cortex-a9 from twrp device tree. Might be better than generic and still work.

Google keyboard works perfectly for me using banks gapps.
@josteink Just want to tell you:
I made a branch called " tf101g-jellybean_4.3 " , based on ShevT's TF101G device tree. I've merged all of 4.3 commits from TF101 branch to the TF101G branch as well. We'll start making this ROM for 3G version as soon as the ROM for TF101 version are quite stable.

Agreed.
I just think letting @ShevT open up his repo and give us commit access would be "cleaner". We'll see when he discovers this thread and wants in on the action

Should probably be added to FP. I'll get it done.
I know the original gapps (4.2 no-name ROM version) Google keyboard had some issues, but the newly released Google keyboard from the play store worked fully on the 4.2 no-name ROM. Not sure if there is a newer gapps which now contains that same keyboard or if it needs to be installed from the play store?

Can you confirm if wifi or GPS is working then? Will make the list on the first page easier for people to rate
And what version did you use? The 4.3 version?
I just flashed the banks' 4.3 Google Keyboard. Now i can have access to my Wi-Fi and here's the update:
Wi-Fi is working
GPS working too!
All dock functions are working when flashing the banks' Google Kayboard gapps
Back, menu and recents button are working (I'm not sure why this had been fixed, maybe due to the working keyboard)
No AOSP keyboard crashes.
New issue
YouTube doesn't play when HD is enabled, only when it's been disabled.
What's left
Camera & CM Focal
Weird window animation bug when returning to home screen.
YouTube player issue.
@josteink, I think we need to revamp the gapps, since some of the apps are not updated like the keyboard, PlayStore, Google Search etc.

Is same as on KatKiss http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44274292&postcount=2
Using TWRP 2.3.2.3
I did a cache, and system wipe, factory reset and flashed the rom with the Banks Gapps, just the core.
Main issue: lost root privilages. Otherwise: feels already as a matured rom

I can report newest build works flawless so far. ART is working, breaks Superuser though. Use SuperSU instead. Had the same with an early build of Slimkat on my Nexus7, no idea how they fixed this.
Awesome work TJKV!
/Edit: It won't boot anymore Don't know, what I did that caused this. I got everything ready, rebooted to backup and that's it.
/Edit2: again :-/ I flashed again, got ART ready, flashed gapps, SuperSU and restored /data from the backup I took. Booted up just fine, with all apps but greenify (that one was missing, no idea why). Installed greenify, didn't do anything else of note. Doesn't boot anymore.
/Edit3: after 3 times battery pulled the phone finally booted!
/Edit4: restoring a backup of CM now, maybe I give it another go tomorrow.
This is a modified version of marius 4.0.4 ROM from here with a MULTI-LANG
I've just took the last 3.5 deodexed version and added languages to all applications I was able to, so it's now fully multi-lang version. I've been using it for the last 2-3 weeks and I've found following issues (they are the same as in 3.5 version):
- MMS work, but I was able to send MMS only when using 2G, so I guess it could be marked as solved
- Calendar don't work - THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!!
But just in case I've removed the google calendar app from this ROM, you can install it from Play Store. Then after upgrading all Google apps you should be able to synchronize your calendar. If you still have problems with synchroniztion just go simply into Settings/Account settings and uncheck/check calendar synchronization few times, it will start working after few tries (even up to 10 tries). You could have the same problem with contact synchronization, but just do the same thing as with calendar.
- Battery is another problem. For me the phone didn't worked longer then 24hrs (battery is quite new - 6 months), I wasn't able to do anything about this, as far as I've found in marius thread this is one of the problem that others also have, so I guess it will have to stay like this.
- I wasn't able to install any of Backup applications (Titanium Backup, My backup PRO, ...). To solve this you will have to install the app from recovery (works for 100%).
- I didn't have time to check other things.
DO A FULL WIPE before upgrading from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2.
Here is an installation instruction, if you want this ROM working do it STEP BY STEP:
1. Download ROM from here
2. Download SMS/MMS application (I've simply forgot to add it to ROM, so there is the old not multilang version) here
3. Reboot to recovery.
4. Perform a full wipe (except SD card of course)
5. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT STEP - reboot the phone to recovery before installing the ROM (4ext has such options in Power Menu, I don't know if other recoveries have it) - If you install the ROM right after wiping the old one without reboot you have 90% of chances that after the phone boots up you will have a lot of FCs from some google apps, reboot solves this problem.
6. Install ROM - after installation phone will be rebooted and you will have to configure it for the first time (multilang since 3.5.2)
7. If you get a lot of FCs after reboot do a full wipe again, recovery reboot (try to do this twice) and install ROM once again.
8. Install SMS/MMS app, I've forgot to add the multilang version to ROM, I will fix that in next release.
OPTIONAL:
9. Download DaemonController from here and adjust your CPU settings.
10. If you prefer the launcher that is in default 3.5 ROM you can download it from here
ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING!!!!!
If after adding a google account you see a lot of FCs from Play Store, Talk ... don't worry about that. Just reboot your phone and open those apps at least one time, then the FCs are gone.
Changelog:
version 3.5.2 9/7/2014
- No separate multilang package, all is now included in 1 zip file
- No only-Polish version will try to build one if I find some time for it, better don't use the lang package from 3.5.1 because it has unsigned apps.
- MMS are working now, you have to use 2G when sending a MMS, works for me
- You can backup and restore your ROM from recovery now without the bootloop (all apps and framework have been re-signed)
version 3.5.1 - First release. 25/6/2014
TODO:
1. Replace settings with the one from default ICS ROM - still got a lot of FC's
2. Replace systemui with the one from default ICS ROM - still got a lot of FC's
3. you tell me, and I look at it in a free time (I don't have it much)

Like I've already wrote, This is a modified version of marius 4.0.4 with a MULTI-LANG. The only things I did was to change the launcher and recompiled all apps with more languages. So I guess it has the same problems as marius ROM. Like I wrote, the base of the ROM wasn't changed. Try installing alogcat and look what is causing problems. As for cracked apps, installing them from recovery solves installation problem, the same as with Titanium Backup and MyBackup PRO which I'm using.
Thanks for your contribution to the best working ICS rom out there!
Are you able to revert the status bar back to stock ICS?
Hey mesiu84 you are :good: :good: :good: :good:

At present time, I am focusing on this rom try to find solutions for bugs, I believe this rom will be stable and fast comparing with others.

Removing different languages takes some time, I've used apktool to decompress and build each apk file from marius ROM. I wouldn't like to do that once again I think this have to stay like this, unless you want to do this on your own, it took me almost 3 days to find the translations for all apps and recompress them once again.
