Hey, so i just installed the android HD One Rom on my HTC, but when it arrives to doing sth with the boot img, it stops, but it says done, and "You are now running on Android HD One". So i reboot the phone, but it goes back to bootloop(keeps restarting), and i have no idea how to use this. Also, after i have flashed the ROM, the twrp says "No OS, do you still want to reboot?". But it doesn't make sense, cause i just flashed it! My phone is a brand new HTC One S also, which is why i am trying really hard to fix it. Any help out there will be appreciated a lot, thanks. Also, i viewed another post which said flash the boot image through fastboot, and i did that, but to no avail, the bootloop persists. Anyone who can get me out of this is a lifesaver, no boosting.
Did you do a dirty flash? or complete flash.
Maybe you need to flash a kernel with that particular rom
Can you tell us what rom you used?

Hey, i don't know the difference between a dirty and a complete flash, but i just flashed it with this ROM: Android_Revolution_HD-One_4.1_GE.
And how do you install a kernel? Can you help me getting an OS from scratch for the phone please? I just don't know what to do.

A dirty flash Means you didn't do a full wipe first and a Complete flash means you did a full wipe first.
Doing a dirty flash can brick your phone since there are 2 OS on your phone.

Okay, i'll do that, and is there a specific ROM you would recommend to me for this, or continue with the Android Revolution HD One?
Just doing a full wipe and reflashing should solve. Hope you didn't put much on your phone before hand though.

Dear all,
When I try to update the rom I always get these screens. What is going wrong? Ihave unlocked the device, rooted it and then tried to install recovery. Worked once but then I got this error message
That's the stock recovery. Since you unlocked your device, I assume you want to install a custom recovery and then a custom ROM - what exactly were you trying to do?
Note that installing a complete Asus firmware overwrites your custom recovery, so you must reinstall a custom recovery after flashing a complete Asus firmware.

Well we're trying to help!
You need to have a custom recovery such as CWM or TWRP installed.
Otherwise you will always see the stock recovery screen...
Do you know how to get a custom recovery on your tablet?
Have you read any of the stickied posts at the top of the general section?
What is the current state of your device?
Here try the link below. It should install the custom recovery for you. Assuming you have windows it should work. Its a tool I made for my self I hope helps or fixes your problem. This install twrp recovery and is only for Asus TF700t.

For a start it would help if you download the right rom.
I installed JellyBam with the instruction that is given. I can get through the JellyBam boot up screen at the first time after install the kernel with rom. But then I tried to install the LockScreen which require me to go into the TWRP. After I installed the LockScreen, I can't get out of the boot loop even if I do a factory reset. Until, I flash the rom again. So now I'm afraid to reboot my phone. I used to brick one of my phone which is unable to fix "LG G2X" by flashing the rom many time. Anyway, I got a question in mind. Is there any limits or a specific times that i can flash my phone? Thanks.

I really need help! I currently have Android 4.4.2 with franco.kernel. I would like to update to Android 4.4.3. So I found the instructions of this type:http://nexus5.wonderhowto.com/how-t...4-4-4-without-losing-any-data-update-0155334/
Everything is OK to a point 6. Shows a console and upload the files but error pops up.

I use Nexus Root Toolkit.
How to fix it? NO WIPE of course.
Stop using toolkits. They tend to do more harm than good.
Download the factory images of 4.4.4 and then flash system, radio and boot manually via fastboot. This will bump your android version to 4.4.4 with everything stock.

Yes Sir, you can!
Nope, you won't loose any data. Only if you flash the userdata.img will you loose all data from /sdcard.
You could also un-root temporary with OTA RootKeeper to update your system
Since we're all putting our 2 cents in, here's mine
Just download the full rooted stock ROM in android development and flash it without wipe from recovery.

It's actually fewer steps anyway.
OTA = revert system changes, boot recovery, flash, re-flash recovery, re-root
Rooted stock = boot recovery, flash
No brainer really. Flashing an OTA if rooted is a fool's errand

In attempting to get root on this device, no method I tried had worked. So my idea was to do a custom recovery twrp to try to install SuperSU update through it.
If anyone can install twrp or root, be sure to tell them here for everyone to get.
I created the Grand M group on the telegram for the galley to help themselves and mainly to develop the projects. Interested parties can enter by this link:. Blu Grand M Projects
Download TWRP to Grand M here
Hello, I just want to let you know that the download is corrupted when my friend tries to flash it if you still can, can you reupload
Will try to download again next time to see jf it wasnt just my internet though

Maybe someone will have an answer to this but after searching online (product site included) I cannot define the difference between the G070EQ and the G070Q Blu Grand M models. For purposes of firmware and the fact my daughter bought and hashed these cheap dang phone and I'm a sucker for a challenge.
Thanks!
I do hope someone has this file in backup
So they could do op a favor and reupload in a zip or sorts
Cause i do not know why everytime i try to downloaf it , its always corrupted
It was just our internet.... For some reason, have the files now, thanks

The recovery is being replaced. To fix this you will lose all personal data on the phone and you have to erase userdata. There are other ways as well.
To get around this, flash system img and right after flash recovery twrp and in the same sequence don't reboot phone but boot in via flash -c boot to the same recovery. Delete the cache. dalvik and userdata and it should make TWRP stick. This is not really a TWRP issue and will do the same with any recovery.
Help solve the problem with Blu Grand m
Generally does not turn on, when charging is connected, only 0.4 is given then 0, and from time to time the screen with the Blu logo is lit. I tried to flash the result did not give, what can it be?
Thanks for your help and the post, ironically when I reinstall the ROM is when the root access is removed. Do we we need a custom ROM?
hello there!
Finally joining the HTC bandwagon here
I've got myself a new HTC u 11+ and just started using it last friday. My friend helped me to buy itdirectly from the HTC Taiwan.
The phone started and launched breezily, no issues and most of my apps has been updated but there's a pop up notification to install the latest system.
I have tried numerous of times downloading it, it did, and clicked install now. Everytime I install, it's shows the progress of the updating and soon the screen went black and HTC logo appeared and a text appeared shortly on a black screen and within few secs it directed twrp recovery. I have to reboot the system on that twrp to get back to my phone mode.
Hence never got updated and the pop up reminder is still there ..
HTC support system not responding to my problem
*A famous youtuber(shaanhaider) guided me to check if it's rooted via app, apparently it's not rooted.
*tried to put in safe mode and update, still nothing changes.
What should I do?
If you have a custom recovery installed, you will not be able to install official updates. You need to restore to stock condition.

twrp is custom recovery, not stock. You can try to flash the stock recovery corresponding to Your firmware through fastboot. However, this may not be enough. The update will still fail to install if there have been changes to the systems section. In this case you will have to flash full RUU corresponding to Your current firmware.
