I have the Paranoid Android version 3.99-RC2 on my Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000. Android version 4.3 frequently happens that my WIFI signal is lost and I can not turn it on. It seems as if the screen is stuck.
Rebooting sometimes helps, and also remove battery and then restart.
Is this a software problem?
Also the battery is empty within about 8 hours
The original version was Android 2.3.5
Are there are more problems with this phone familiar? Is the original Android 2.3.5. better to use with this phone?

Hi,
I wish to have Samsung Gingerbread OS for Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330.
Why? Short history:
I used to use Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos B5512 and i love it (because of QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen and it's Android that i needed). But after few years 160MB of internal memory is not good enough for official updates (such as google play, youtube etc.). So I bought Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330 because of 2GB of internal memory (also it's better screen orientation). I bought and run it and... BOOM, there is Android 4.1.2. Dear Lord... Maybe I am crazy man (with bad English ) but I hate changes. The new version of Android is really not for me.
So my question is...
it's even possible to install Gingerbread OS on my Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330 and will it work?
If yes - please guide me how to do it.
I will be really grateful.
no one?
You will OT find anything that far back for that device if it comes with 4.1.2 stock which means there is no kernel for it for that old of a os. Sorry but your gonna be out of luck
Or in KitKat? I know it's flakey software altogether half baked by sammy and put out to the masses, but is it any better?
I'm tired of fighting tooth and nail to get my gear to connect so I was curious. thanks!
I've got a Galaxy Gear Null_ ROM Android and Gear S R750T OA7 TizenMod Experimental Build then a T-mobile Galaxy Note Edge Hyperdrive KitKat 4.4.4 NK3 obviously.
A couple of days ago, the Note 5 received the Android 7.0 update in Canada. Due to the Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 being 'relatively' similar to eachother software wise; wouldn't it be possible to use the N920W8's audio drivers for G920W8? Many Android 7.0 roms are available right now (such as Griffins, Noble, Nexus7420 AOSP etc.) but only a selected few have support for W8/T.
Now, I can be completely wrong and sound stupid; but I had to at least ask (for my sanity.)
Thanks.
I'm using a vz note 5 in Vietnam. Battery always is a big problem. Deepsleep did not work until I installed package disable pro and disabled bloatware from Samsung and Verizon. When I updated from os 6 to 7 nougat ds has gone due to pdp plug-in can't work with nougat. It's annoying because nougat is known for greater battery and performance. Please help me how to fix this to get ds back in Android 7 nougat.
Thanks!
I have a plain Galaxy S6 (not edge) with the basic Samsung ROM on android 7.0 and I am looking for the lightest ROM out there that maximizes the battery.
I want to be using the phone as a 4G wifi hotspot and nothing else so the ROM should be completely free of bloatware or any apps other than what it is needed to the run the hotspot service.
Doesn't really matter what android version it is.
What do you guys suggest?
