I recently loaded the new JellyBean 4.2.2 Unofficial CM10.1 - 2/15/2013 on my Samsung Infuse.
As some other members in that development thread have experienced, I also seem to have the problem with the pattern lock not working.
I have followed all the installation instructions including wiping the device. I even downgraded the phone back to stock GB and still no luck on the pattern lock once I went to JB 4.2.2.
One new thing that I noticed that I didn't find anything on yet is the problem with ADB connections.
Supposedly 4.2.2 has a security feature that requires a RSA token key authentication and authorization between the PC and phone.
I have the proper drivers installed on my pc but never seem to get the RSA authentication prompt.
I can connect to the phone for mass storage, but not via usb debugging, which I have already enabled in the developer options within the settings.
I've even used the android sdk package and run the command "adb devices".
It's always listed as offline.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix these two issues?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Today i installed the cynogen JB 4.2.2.facing the same issue with pattern lock.
when i select the option of pattern a screen appears with options (3X3, 4X4, 5X5, 6X6, etc) ....when I select any of the option...then screen reappears...but nothing happens..
I have had my S6 for just one month and the fingerprint scanner has stopped recognizing my fingerprint. The device wont recognize my backup password or google account either. I am pretty sure my backup password is not incorrect and I know my google account information is correct as I still have access to it on my computer. I am able to use android device manager to call and send messages to the phone, but android device manager no longer has the unlock option. I have contacted google directly, but they were unable to provide any solutions. I have also contacted my service provider Sprint and Samsung with no success. I did not register with Samsung find my mobile prior to the incident. I don't have any of my files backed up to the cloud. I recognize that factory reset is the only option now, but I would like to create a backup or at least rescue some of my files before the reset.
I have wifi turned on, but USB debugging is turned off. When I connect to Samsung Kies or Smart Switch, I am prompted to unlock the device.
I have looked into using TWRP to recover files from the device, but I have read that the program no longer works with the S6 since the latest update.
Is there any way to pull files from the device while in recovery mode? Are there any other options available?
I am willing to compensate anyone who is able to help via PayPal

Go back to Android Device Manager and select Lock Device. It should allow you to set a new password to get into the phone.

This results in an error message that says the device is already locked and so a new password will not be set

Is it still asking for the backup password or is it just asking for the Google account?

It's asking for both. When I enter the backup password wrong five times, it then asks for my Google account

Have you changed your google account password recently?
Hi, first of all I don't know if this is the correct subforum to post this. My phone fell to the floor and my touch screen doesn't respond. The screen isn't broken but I can't do anything. I need to unlock the phone to activate USB debugging in order to control it via ADB. Is there any possibility to do that? I tried it connecting a mouse via OTG but it does not works.
I have the SLIMSABER rom (android 6.0) with his default kernel.
Thanks in advance.
If your objective is to get the stuff from the memory, the best is to enter in recovery mode.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to unlock the pattern lock to a nexus 5. When the phone got disconnected from service provider, it became pattern locked and it is disabled from USB debugging. The bootloader is locked. I do not want to wipe the data. Need help on recovery. I am sure the pattern is correct but the phone will not recognize it. I have been browsing forums and no answer yet. ROM is stock
Help!!! Help!!! Help!!! Is there anyway to do an ADB pull if its locked?
Hi,
So my dad passed away, he had a Samsung J4+ with a pattern.
I like to remove that without losing data.
My dad never switched off OEM unlocking and enabled USB Debugging.
If i try to flash TWRP via bootloader or adb or Odin it gives a error. (the standard errors like its blocked by FRP etc)
Is there anyway to bypass the pattern, paid or free?
This can be closed, we gave up.
