maybe provide more details or some screenshots.
What does it say when you lunch the camera? does it fail when you boot up? It started to fail after you rooted it, or when flashing a new rom? where you using stock software before?

I faced this issues before in my galaxy S, But i had fixed it.
Try use odin to flash stock rom, and flash it separately with PDA / CSC / PHONE blah blah~
Don't flash it with only PDA~

Hello, i got it booting up by flashing KIES_HOME_N8013UEALI3_N8013XARALI3_1081475_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 file with odin . but when it boots it force closes the FACTORY TEST. so when I download the jeally bean update and installs it doesn't boot any suggestions?
i forgot to mention it had created a factory mode shorcut a cannot mount ex sdcard in clockmod recovery
Should i reset the binary counter and send it back in???

Might be the JB update though as original ICS roms aren't available....
My tab 2 wont upgrade to the latest firmware (which fixes the powering off issue). I have tried both ota and kies. Both will seemingly download the firmware but wont install. Ota gives me a cant upgrade error and kies downloads, decrypts, decompresses and then nothing. Samsung has no clue how to get upgrade installed. How do I fix this problem?

download the latest rom for your tab 2 variant from sammobile and also odin and insure that you have latest usb drivers installed
then you flash that latest rom on your tab and then what??

Firmware Update
I have been having the same issue and can tell you that even with a factory reset that it doesn't help either. At this time I don't want to root mine. Any ideas without root?

Guys, flashing stock ROM using Odin does NOT root the device, and does NOT require root to do it.

flashing stock rom and rooting a device are two different things

if you can flash another country's rom it won't be any problem
also if you choose top 10 countries in country column you can find the latest 4.2.2 for your tab 2 10.1

if you don't have root just flash it again with it official firmware , root it , after that install the ROM again and tell me if this works (ps : try to use an official cwm recovery install it from Flashify or Rom manager i think that's the problem )

perhaps your phone is clone or you have a problem with you pc i don't know or it's another version of galaxy s3 verify and tell me what is your android version and what's you phone model you will find it in odin

So download firmware from here : http://www.sammobile.com/devices/specs/GT-I9300/ and flash it using odin 3.07 if it works try to root it and tell me if it works
I did exactly it and now it's stuck on samsung logo.
Maybe something is missing ? About the bootloader ?

Ok. No need to worry. Here is the next step. Download your ROM from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N915F/
There you will have instructions on installing and then you will be able to update your base-band manually. This should fix your problem! Let me know how it went!

I tried this procedure by odin.No change at all
