Just curious if anyone has confirmed getting PDroid to work on the note and if so which ROM did you use? I'm about to try the cm release for the n8000 [which someone said works on the 8013] with the autopatcher and hope all goes well. I know about xposed and xprivacy however for some reason the thing i'm using it for only works with PDroid. I have it running on 5 of my phones but the note 10.1 ROMs seem quite limited at the moment :/

I got Paranoid Android (n8013) patched with openpdroid. I think, if i remember well, that it wouldn't patch under windows but works with linux.
Codename Lungo also patches but is for the n8000 so i didn't try it out.

Hello, I just rooted my Samsung galaxy note 10.1 gt-8013 running jelly bean. for the first time a few days ago. It was the first time I rooted anything. The reason I wanted to root it was pdroid. I have installed 3 or 4 different roms on it trying to get pdroid to work on them with no luck. I have also used the auto patcher like it says to. The tablet says it's installed, and have ran the auto patcher multiple times on each rom. When I look for it in the market it still won't show up. So I'm starting to get a little frustrated because I'm not sure if I'm just not using the auto patcher correctly or if it's just does not work on my table. If anyone knows of a rom that comes with pdroid with it. Or if anyone can point me to a rom and has the patch for pdroid. Any help would be appreciated.

I too hope a dev will one day integrate pdroid, on a multiwindow capable rom, until cm integrates this feature, i guess that means stock roms for now.......either integrate, or build their rom in such a way that is compatible with a pdroid patch .
Over on the official thread, looks like the dev has added stock compatibility, but i suspect its for specific stock roms, could be wrong

I think it was for very specific devices, if i got the gist of it right, i think a dev needs to implement it into a rom specifically for our note 10's
yes,but i've no knowlegde at all for doing this. i was hoping you found something.

I found out something similar to pdroid... it's called XPrivacy and runs on top of the Xposed framework. it needs root but it's pretty straight foward to install and use. it also works for pratically any rom including stock.
you can find the installation/user guide on github https://github.com/M66B/XPrivacy
I'm not 100% sure but there's an article on this on android police. it works like a charm for me (jb 4.1.2 on stock)
hope you find it usefull like i did!!

I am getting the itch to put on a custom ROM of my GS3, but I have a Fitbit One and would like for it to continue to update over the phone. I've tried CM10.1, but it appears that there is a problem with the BT4.0 and the phone doesn't want to try to connect to the fitbit. I'm not close to a computer much currently to update the fitbit.
TL: DR- Is there a working ROM where the BT4.0/BLE is working somewhat properly?
Thanks in advance.
I'm looking for the same thing. I switched back to a Stock variant to get BT4 working and the Stock ROM is total garbage after using Cyanogen Mod. I don't want to have to choose one or the other!
There is not a single ROM out there at the moment that has Bluetooth 4.0 working. Google has not released or included a lib file for it to work. Sure our devices have the hardware but the software has no clue how to utilize it. Maybe next version of android will have it.
The 4.1.2 Omega ROM was working for me. The ROM will need to be based off of Samsung's official as it will need their hacked Bluetooth stack - they worked directly wth Fitbit to get it up and running. I've since upgraded to the Omega 4.2.2 AOKP ROM and it no longer works (which I expected).
BLE
The only ROM that i've found with working BT4/BLE is the one by beanstown.. i do confirm it working just fine for my fitbit flex.

I have a fitbit as well and I am trying to figure out what it would take to get it working with CyanogenMod. I flashed an unofficial 10.2 (4.3) and still no luck with the fitbit.
try the 4.3 version of CM in teh development section? I thought this was an added or fixed feature in teh newest version of android. not too sure though.
Hi,
I am xda-developers reader/lurker for years but this is a first time that I am not able to continue without your help.
I just got Note 10.1 and I would like to have pdroid on it. I just tried collective edition ROM and I really like it. What I miss if pdroid.
I could switch to some of CM roms but I would like to keep split screen and other great Note 10.1 specific features.
Any ideas? Thanks.

So far, because of closed source of the kernel or some other things (what I have heard), it's not possible to make a working room with pdroid. I already tried that with... omega rom I think. The autopatcher worked but not pdroid/pdroid2.0 after flashing. It started but crashed by collecting the apps. After some searching I read that s because of the official kernel or touch wiz. Maybe in the future. Meanwhile I am using LDE.
Edit: I also tried openpdroid, but the autopatcher stops because of a missing jpg. Tried to fix it myself, but well... Next git version maybe.
Hi everyone (especially devs)...
Some devs (Thanks to all!) are trying to port CM11 to Note 3 SM N900.
There is lag problem and it's not solved yet. It is not convenient for daily usage.
Also, there are little bugs (but these are not important problems).
Now, I am curios about is there anybody who thinks to port CM12?
We, all Note 3 SM N900 users, are waiting an AOSP ROM and I think we deserved it.
Please, do it and make us happy.
We lack devs
I will try ...my best to contribute for cm 12 already worked n reserch on it n now there is Lollipop leak so will see what help it can do ...but at moment im on winter Holiday ...and also successfully ported custom kernel for Lollipop leak ..seems samsung and knox messed up even more at new Stage .all embedded code ...very hard to remove ...
@dr.ketan has released custom lollipop rom and he is master of development.
I hope, he will also work for CM12.
want to contribute
I also want to contribute in CM12. I dont know from where to start. Let me know if you guys need some dev help.

Oop sorry I supposed N900 as the thread is not for GT.

@RaymanFX has released CM12 for Note 10.1 (Exynos) and it seems very stable (like CM11).
We may ask him to help about Note 3 (Exynos).

Here is RaymanFX's response; "Building CM12 for the Note 3 should be easy, I already did the main work for Exynos5420. However, I don't have the device myself so someone else would need to update the device sources and compile builds, because I think blind development is bad and I don't want to mess up people's devices.".
hi...I can use my note3 ...plz let me know how I can help??

I think you must be a developer
We need a dev who can update the device sources and compile builds.
Yes., I am a developer but need some instructions since I will be doing this first time....

I am looking for a 7. x ROM where Bluetooth Phone Audio and WIFI work correctly. I have already tested many Customs. Nexus, LineageOS, Ressurection etc. etc.
Make it yourself if you cant wait for them to fix it
also I'm using a nexus based oreo rom and all of those things work for me
also im guessin you want a AOSP based nougat rom not Touchwiz?
DrKetan_custom_ROM works fine. Its a note 5 ROM ported to s6. I have not had any real issues with it. However I just upgraded to NexusOS-8.1.0-zerofltexx-20180113 and I have had no issues on Oreo that I could not get around. But keep in mind I am a computer programming student. So if I have an issue with root or init.d or permissions I simply fix the issue and move on.
