I can't find the stock wallpaper location for the life of me.
can somebody share some light?

I was actually asking for the wallpapers location on the rom itself. Ex:system/data/etc...
I cant find it...

Go to /system/framework
Copy framework-res.apk and extract it.
the wallpapers may be in /drawable withe the file name wallpaper

Nothing under drawable, only .xml files i checked systemui as well and still nothing...

Tomorrow I will buy a windows laptop, I really love my mac but there is no way I can modify my phone with it. Thank you for this, will work on them this weekend. What is the best link and program to mod?

I've not used any programs except CS5 to edit the images.

I think "photoshop" or "gimp" (gimp=free)

He is a Graphic designer i assume he knows how to modify images

Haha, sorry, i meant Where can i find the programs to modify and work on the framework from your phone to import your own themes into the phone.
Sorry for the misundersranding...indeed I am a graphic designer so I am practically married to photoshop...

Yeah i guessed that. Like i said use 7zip. Open the apk, drag images into the appropriate folder save.Done.
Then you can push it to sdcard and dd it to /system/framework
@XperiaX10iuser thanks for all the hard work and the collection how it will have some stuff for a Halloween theme I'm about to start on.

Just as realunited said, I use Winrar myself but it does the same job.

I know GO Launcher would allow the icon to be changed, I'm sure ADW does too. Not sure about renaming though.

icon is at /res/drawable

yeah, you can theme the app from there. It's a looooooong and time sucking task though.

[Resolved] [Q] Sleep Better by Runtastic alarm tones

Where do I find the alarm tone files of Sleep Better app by Runtastic.
I love them all and I'd like to use some as a ringtone but I couldn't find any of the mp3's. Can anyone help me? :silly:

When u decompile the apk
you can find them in this directory
/assets/audio ^^
