Possible Hangouts issue - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to bring up an issue that I'm having, and wanted to see if anyone noticed the same problem. When an iPhone user selects multiple photos and sends it via MMS, it comes to the N5 as 1 whole MMS. When you select the photo it does not give you the option to save it. The option to save a photo in hangouts is the top right menu button when you select the photo in a message to preview.
Now....when the same iPhone user sends the picture one by one, that is when you can select the photo to save it. Is this an issue.....or is that how it's going to be?

How to change the default action for a favourite contact

Hi,
I have a little annoying problem. One of the contacts in the favourite list has the default action set to "Send Message" (I'm talking about the little icon just below the photo and name).
The problem is that all (but one) of my favourites have the default action set to Call Contact (the little earpiece icon) except this one.
I want to have every action set to "Call Contact" but I can't find any option where to change it.
It's the only phone number I have for this contact and it is filed under Mobile.
Can anyone help me with this?
scroll down to the contact, then press right or left
I think he is talking about the favourite contacts and not the contacts app. only way i know to do that is to delete the contact and then add them again and you will be able to choose between send message and call

New SMS view style

Does anyone knows any new sms messanges viewing style? i would like to be like a chat and not a single message per view.
When using Sense,
Press all messages, or press the message you'd like to see.
If no converstaion mode is sown, press menu, settings, conversation mode....
Should be standard behaviour.
You can also go to the contact card of the person you want to chat with and click on the SMS tab.

[Q] Can't See Text In An MMS Slideshow

Anytime I send or receive a picture with text from my Droid Mini on stock Android 4.4 rooted (I've had this issue since I got the phone brand new from Verizon) in the stock messaging app, it makes it a slideshow, and the text is placed at the top cut off by the picture so I can't see it, and there's no way to see the text that I've found. I've tried tapping the picture and pausing, running the slideshow out doesn't show the text, when sending, I've tried putting the text in first then picture and vice-versa...all to the same result. The only available option is selecting whether the text is on the top or bottom but that doesn't change anything. Attaching a couple screenshots to help make my point and I would appreciate any input on a solution because this is quite annoying. And I don't want to use a 3rd party app.

Cant send SMS to one contact in hangouts

Searched but cannot find the answer. I have one friend who uses hangouts like me and i can usually drop the box down on my Nexus 5 to the left of the message while in hangouts and choose "SMS" yet for this one contact I no longer can. Anyone have any idea? I have to send a separate sms message to him and its kind of annoying.
Thanks.
With a friends help i see you have to long press on a conversation so its selected and choose the other conversation then up top choose merge. Simple enough.

Can't ''expand'' received MMS picture

Whenever I receive a picture in the message app, I can see the picture in the conversation but when I press on it to see it fullscreen, all I see is a kinda broken image. The image still save in the storage and when I search the location of it, it is at /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts
thanks in advance!
