[Q] Putting note 10.1 Touchwiz and all the samsung apps onto a "Chinese t - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm new to XDA and i was wondering whether it was possible to basically buy a random 10.1 1280x800 off ebay (because i can't afford a note 10.1) and put the note 10.1 touchwiz onto that tablet with all the samsung apps such as the samsung version of the video player and all that.
So I want to have a the samsung interface with all their apps on this tablet so it's like a note 10.1 in a different shell. I was wondering how you would go about doing so.
thanks

[Q] Samsung Video player app

There is some way to port the samsung video player from galaxy tab 2 7.0 to the galaxy tab 7?

No, there is no easy way to port the player because it relies on the Samsung TouchWiz framework and you only have it in official ROMs released by Samsung. So, unless you port the entire SGT2 ROM you can't.
PS: I already tried to port a number of apps from the SGT2 ROM (I managed to get a system dump) but most are useless or not portable easily.
Peace,
C.

Multi windows 4 Tab 2

Hi,
I heard that Samsung decided to let use multi windows code by developers. Do You think Galaxy Tab 2 will get this features ?
I don't know. But it will be great to see on our Galaxy Tab 2.
I have this function on my Samsung Galaxy S3, but it useless becasue of height LCD which is little bit small for this function. I hope that multiwindow will works great on Galaxy Tab 2.
Still waitin'
Multi-Window is one thing I have on my Galaxy Note 2 that I really wish my Tab 2 SGH-T779 had, the T-mobile varient of the Tab 2.
I tried installing the Xposed Framework on it, but ended up with a boot lockup so I had to rip that back out, unfortunately.
If anyone ever progresses in this, I'll be trying to keep up with it and see where things go.

Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition launcher

Hello everyone, I wanted to know if it is possible to install the launcher of Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, in my tablet without the need for root or recovery, maybe a modified launcher similar to that. Or, if this is not possible, I would like the launcher of Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, to look like my note 10.1 to a new Samsung tablet
If you can find the APK, then sure... Although you won't be able to push it to the system without rooting, so it'll act like any other launcher replacements out there. And you'll have to find the APK.
to Much framework related Changes won't worK If no one takes hes time to do So
Im going too look into that tomorrow today its party
I know that my files will work because note 3 file manager does but Its too Small and doesn't fit

Downgrade Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) to Android 4.1

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8013) running android 4.1.2. I really like the software, especially the multi-window. I find that the layout is similar to a desktop. If I wanted to get the newer version of this tablet (Note 10.1 2014 Edition). Is there any way that I can get the same software experience as my older tablet. I'm talking full Samsung (or Samsung like) android 4.1 experience. I don't have a lot of background in this subject but I know that things similar to this are possible.
Ask in the 2014 forum .
