I am Starting this thread for Development And Discussion For New Advance Rom for Micromax Canvas 2 So Give the Suggestion for Developer For Developed Best Rom.​
I request to Developer please see this thread regularly and give the suggestion. This is helpful for our community who loved for canvas 2​

Serious matter for me I am working for 4.2.1 but no success I have choose 3 Romes but no success every time boot loop
Can anyone provide me 4.2.1 Rom runs on MTK 6577 device

Developers better know what to include and what not..I can't suggest on that but only thing i can say is that the ROM should be better on performance and battery....
And plz include one thing if u can OTA(over the air) and provide long term support
I advice just go through Lewa ROM by @mufti.arfan once and u will find ur answers....:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

If u are working for 4.2 ROM then u require to port kernel From 4.2 ROM from other device.
U can try by changing API level i.e.
One way is by compiling it from cm10.1 ROM . Other way is to try porting ROMs from canvas HD.
For 4.2 based rom , kernel modifications are required . This is possible when we have kernel source codes available for MTK6577 chipset by MMX.

Its not bro porting is different from theming for ex it has swipe to call n msg in contacts and the inbuilt framework based s4 lockscreen while we din hav those on any rom it has lot of great features like that so i req some dev to try to port the complete rom please.

I have tried and success for some feature but not success for porting lock screen because changing in framework get boot loop
I have success for dialer but force close due to resolution not supported so anyone can modded dialer for supporting resolutions
And I have publish soon v3 with most of Samsung apps
