[Q] dreambook w7 root or develomemt

Hey guys,
I've tried searching everywhere, this while site, Google, androidslate.com etc
But I can't find anything on rooting the Syrngic Dreambook w7, or anything about custom
Roms for it except the official updates from synrgic.com
Do any of you wonderful experts know anything of any rom's or any cooking in the process?
I just really want to get off this stock rom!

Hi,
z4Root seems to work as I tried it on my Dreambook last weekend. I got Superuser installed and running but, there is no overclock so far.
As far as Custom ROMs go, I'm still working through the Chinese User Forums to see if there is anything out there. If I find anything I'll post a link here.

Custom roms? that would be cool, let us know if you find anything.
Also if anyone has got their dreambook to connect to an ad-hoc network? I would like to know. There are instructions around on how to hack the Hero for ad hoc so I think it must be possible. I want to connect/tether it to my HTC TP2 (WM6.5) for internet rather than having to swap my sim card over whenever I want internet.

The specs should be ok for honeycomb.

I saw the official site in the online shop ... there are two types of dreambook w7.
change the price and specifications, it's all written in Chinese ... but from what I understand, there's a w7 GPU Graphic: OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenVG 1.1 (amd z430) ... I think ...
else in the gpu (PowerVR SGX 540).
is possible that there are two versions with different GPU?

The Dreambook W7 device based on freescale IMX515 processor, have most features like samsung galaxy tab P1000, hope there's custom firmware or an upgrade firmware for that device based on the great Cyanogenmod, coz the official lack of performance, and many trouble with hardware, and the mech. button (back and menu) sometimes bothering when used it with tons of android apps (hope can be modded into soft button such:honeycomb or cyanogenmod firmware)...someone can help or maybe this forum can help us according to dreambook w7...sorry my english is not good enough,

[HELP] We need support for i9103 "Galaxy R"

Hi all;
I want to talk to you about the GALAXY R or i9103.
Is a version of SII with tegra 2 and slightly lower specs in terms of camera, storage and conectivity.
However this i9103 is much closer to SII than to the S plus, so why should we avoid the possibility of enjoying the root and ROMS?
I just want that people would be a little bit concerned about this great phone, so any help will be appreciated , if anyone knows who would be happy to help us with this just let me know. Im sure CM,Or other talented people can help us.

this is my first post on the forum
i wana buy myself my first android device in the form of a samsung galaxy r (coming from good old symbians)
now what i see from this and other forums is that there aint much support from hackers/modders/cookers for this particular model
also samsung hasent announced any plans to bring ics to galaxy r
hence i am leaning towards the galaxy s plus coz even if samsung dosent release the official ics i am sure to get an custom ics rom for it.
should i go for the r or the s plus???
also will i get worse backup times with the r in comparison to s plus as the r has the same battery as the s plus but a larger screen and that too slcd?

I will try to do my best to help, because I'm having this beautiful device too
and i all ready hacking it around what i want to do is to make a real raw backup of roms and etc, before doing real development on it and i can help in development of kernel and hardware related staff i'm, sorry i new to android rom cooking and etc, but i like hacking and if i will find good manual about it i will be too able to help, the main thing is the kernel which was open sourced by Samsung (2.6.36.2 but device i own has 2.6.36.3) so if we want to improve it i has some experience with Nokia N900 (had it before but now only SGR) i'm also a java dev by occupation and had experience in android application development bun not much and with old android 1.6 but this is not a big problem )

Hi all! Few years i have readed this forum and trying to learn more and more about android developing. But now i need to request you all to help me with my problem.
I bought an cheap android tab from china but i cant find working roms to it. Also driver updates are welcome. Now back to tab so it is Androra A713 you can find specs from google if needed, it contains Allwinner A13-chip with 512mb ram. Theres 4Gb flash. I have contacted to manufactor of this tab but i think thats down. I have image of stock rom of this and i will upload it for your usage.
Please help me to make my tab run smooth!

I can not find info anywhere on how to customize this phone, I DID root installing kingo and samsung kies on my computer(thanks to a post in this forum) .
does not have CWM installed.
I'm not sure if this phone supports a custom rom (told you , no info about this model)....or if you can guide me for another phone that shares similar specifications.( I have seen that galaxy SIII mini looks like to have almost the same specs, or galaxy Ace 2 as well)
These are the specs that I think are important
OS: Jelly Bean 4.1.2
CPU Model: ST-Ericsson U8500
GPU Render: Mali-400 MP
Resolution:480x800
Cores :1GHz (Dual Core)
Architecture: ARM Cortex-A9.

Never ever try flashing a rom that's not meant for your specific device model cos that's bound to brick it. As for the recovery you'd be better off searching the place where u found the rooting method for it. But remember never to flash anything that's not meant for u abd always have a backup at hand.

That's exactly what I thought and THE REASON I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING YET, THANKS A LOT to confirm what I was thinking, I guess I have to wait a professional guy keep an eye on this device I doubt it, though

By then I suggest you download android tuner pro. Its a paid app available on the play store and is capable of doing almost everything that you'll expect a custom rom to do. Also have a look at the thread in my signature. That'll help you a lot too and with much lesser risk of damaging your device.

Core 2 really need a forum \m/ . Anyway is the Android 5.0 or Lollipop will hit our device? I've heard that Lollipop supports low end devices so i think yes XD! By the way i don't consider this phone as a low end device but i think it just lack some features.

mmmmmmmm I think its not posible...I read somewhere that lillipop need 1gb of ram....core 2 has 759 mb of ram...I think that the phone can handle lollipop but samsung will use the 1gb of ram excuse...

I know that Samsung will do that. But yes it can run lollipop OS because Lollipop is more performance friendly than KitKat so i think we need to make some custom rom for the Lollipop so sad..

still wating for the forum or at least a custom rom

lollipop neads less ram than 4.4
core 2 can handle this rom easely but i dont think that samsung will release 5.0 rom for any low end phone
