Hi everyone. In this short thread I just want to show you how to create your own app. Continue this steps:
*It's really easy.
1. Register in www.iBuildApp.com.
2. Select the device you want for (Android and iPhone).
3. Customize your app.
4. Enjoy the app.

Creating your own app with iBuildApp takes only a few minutes and absolutely FREE. · Events (Publish your events: date, title, and description. descriptions can be as long as you want and include hyperlinked URLs.)
· News (Post news stories from the CMS, or automatically from your RSS feed. All pictures are pulled in and links open an in-app browser.)
· Audio Stream (Provide live audio stream from your website. Play music or other sound content within your app.
Supported audio formats: mp3, mp3 streaming servers (shoutcast, icecast), playlists (pls, M3U, xspf), AAC and AAC+.)

· e-Commerce (Sell products directly through your app!

well.. i guess its completely free. except that i found that there was an iBuildApp icon alone on the bottom of the app when i created mine.
but anyways its simple and its awesome!

[APP][2.1+] DataBuck - Backup your digital social activities !

Hi,
I present you a new App from ErgSap, called DataBuck taht intends to save and export your online timeline into a document file for backup purposes or book printing !
You are millions using social network services, storing, sharing your digital contents & stories on remote/external/cloud social services/media. Is your digital life safe enough ?
The first version of the app uses the Twitter services: the app retrieves your timeline (3200 statuses limit for API/developers) and print it in an HTML formatted file with original links to author/user, links, hashtags and tweet from direct reply. You can then use this file at your convenience to edit, print, share, convert into PDF or other formats (upcoming features) ...etc

HowTo use the App:
- Check your internet connexion
- At first launch the App starts the Twitter authorization dialog automatically (otherwise click on twitter button)
- then click on update button to start your first backup :good:
- the "document" icon (far right) give open/export/sharing options
You can click on links in the text field displaying your timeline.
If you have many tweets, it may take a few minutes to complete; we're working on better performance and better notification.
Features:
-Retrieve your tweets from your Twitter timeline
-Added the tweet you have replied to (see "=> In reply to" mention)
-click on link to open selected statuses/friends/users on the web
-Export your timeline in HTML format (web page format), you will be able to access to all your available tweets (a 3200 statuses limit is imposed to developers from Twitter API)
- share, print, view your saved data/Tweets at your convenience, the backup file is located under ergsap/databuck folder
-Photos integration in the backup file and stored in images folder (really nice feature)
-Use a tool like web2pdf to convert the HTML formatted file, like a book or edit/view html associated file at your convenience on your web browser, using tools at your convenience
-One folder per user (with images/photos and data associated to the profile); you can manage multiple accounts
-new rendering for the HTML format

We are looking for feedback from special users of DataBuck app in order to make the app smarter.
Special users have either more than 800 tweets on Twitter services (timeline) or 3200+ tweets. We have integrated a feedback form in the last version of the app for that purpose.

Levipic is the best alternative photo app for your device. Quick and modern.
Display your pictures in a list or a map. Give ★★★★★ to your favorite pictures.
Your photos are loaded quickly and easily illustrated. In a list or on the world map so you never lose track of when and where you have taken your pictures.
The photos are not distributed to the outside so you do not have to worry about your privacy.

Features:
- Folder structure: Your photos are displayed in the folder structure you created on your device. You can organize your media right in the app (Create new folders, move items, ...).
- Date: Your photos are automatically sorted by date taken
- Rating: Your photos are grouped by the rating from “Unknown” to a 5 starts rating. Of course you can change the rating and the information is stored into the field that is also used by Windows (EXIF!). That makes your changes compatible with your computer.
- Location: On a map you can see where you have taken the pictures. This allows you to see where you were already everywhere and wherever you are traveling. The photos will be grouped when it is approximately the same geo location on the map (GPS). But when zooming is automatically calculated to be grouped. The number of photos is always displayed. The geo location of an image can be changed right in the app!
- Detailed view: One can of course look at the photos in whole size and possibly delete, share and view other information about it.
- Wallpaper slideshow: Changes automatically the background image (wallpaper) of your device. Every hour or every day at midnight.
- Video playback
- Settings:
- Two color themes are actually implemented
- You can change the number of columns, sort and group of every section
- The default page that is visible on startup
- More Features:
- GIF support
- You can fix the date of an image. This copies the exif information into the Android Media Store (The ADM does not have the right value for the "Date Taken")
- Multi selection compatibility for the grid view (share and delete multiple images in the same time)
- You can select all images at once by holding down the header line
- You can geo locate a picture directly on the map with a menu item
- Ease of use: Zoom feature is available in the detail view. Tab to activate the fullscreen mode
- You can use a button to switch faster between header groups
- You can directly launch the camera to take a new photo
- Levipic can be registered as standard image viewer
- Hidden Folders: Hide any folder you want in your gallery

Hey Denny, first off i never noticed the purchase button in app (hence my play store comment).
what i would like to see is list/detail view mode with file names next to the files like in quickpic app.
also 2 minor issues, first time i opened the app it was a bit laggy and unresponsive due to thumbnail caching were being made but i think it should be done in background without effecting the ui (not actually sure if its possible in android).
and the top-right buttons when viewing a picture are a bit too big IMO.

Hi first of all, thanks for this great app. Loved it since first start.
One requests would be tiff support.
Also noticed that if pictures have no specified date they are packed into the current month i.e. March 2016. I think it would be better to put them at the end under "undated" or something like that.
Also having the option to change the type of sort without having to access settings would be great.
Maybe it's also possible to sort folders by the one with newest entry on top...

Do you can use "File info" and take a look into the "Date taken" section?
Because android copied the date into the database and sometimes it is wrong. For that I implemented the "Fix date" menu item to copy the exif information into the database.
Anyway, on my side, I never set the date to now when it is undefined...

You're right something messed up the "date taken", however the fix did not help. But the issue is not with your app. Danke

I do a test!
First smooth interface, I did not expect that for an hybrid app.
The integration of the "text to speech" is nice.
I will make a full feedback, I still use a bit.

After using the app:
What I like:
- user interface clean and quick
- readability feature (in my opinion, an important feature for an RSS reader)
- work nice on my smartphone and tablet
- i like adaptive view
As improvement:
- search feed could be more accurate (The feed search is currently very usefull)
- Add categories to feed
I think I'll continue to use the app!

There collections, collections are like categories, you can group your sources.
In "your sources" screen, top right menu, you can add collections.
Then you can change the current collection by the same menu.

Testing
I have a small problem at startup, your news was empty, after refresh all is ok.

There is the compact view (articles appear inline, without image). You use this view? or you would like a view with article inline, liner list?

[APP][4.4+]BookUp - Books information & reading list

Hi,
BookUp is a books information & reading list app.
* First feature :
search books informations by title, author, editor, subject, language or isbn.
Also, a rudimentary barcode scanner is embedded in the app so that you can scan the isbn barcode of a book and search that specific book easily !
Search results are displayed as an infinite scroll list.
Clicking/touching a book in a list displays a detailed single book view.
On detailed view, long pressing a book cover displays the cover as a bigger image.
* Second feature :
In list or detailed view, clicking the small "bookmark" icon adds the book to your "library".
The library is an offline list where you can keep book information for later usage, I personnally created it as a reading list, but other use cases are possible.
When I listen to a podcast, the radio, I'm reading an article, if a book seems interesting I search it and save it so that I can easily find it later.
You can add or remove books from your library just by toggling the bookmark icon.
* Third feature
A share button is available in single book view. It can send books information containing a link to any text app (sms, whatsapp, clipboard, twitter etc...).
Afterwards, clicking the link on any phone where BookUp is available displays automatically that specific book directly in single book view where it can be added to the library.
That makes it really easy to share books with other people.

* Fourth feature :
- save library as a file to local storage (internal or SD card) or remote storage (Google Drive, DropBox, etc...)
- import backup files saved from the app (in case of accidental erasure etc...)
- import can merge several files as a bigger library because it adds non existent books
* Permissions :
- camera (to scan barcodes)
- internet (to search data on books)
- read external storage (needed by some cloud providers to read backup files, for DropBox actually) --NEW--
/edit
* Future features / planned improvements :
- allow the use of external barcode scanner (although this app weighs only 1.8 MB) so the embedded scanner is not heavy and won't clutter your phone.
- manage multiple libraries, arranges by tags or themes etc...
- export/import library as a file (csv, etc...)
- notify public domain books in single book view and allow to download the book
- ?? I don't know, you tell me, but I want to keep the app small and focused.

New release which brings a useful feature : backup and restore of your library.
Changelog :
- it is now possible to export your library as a text file for backup (option accessible from library view).
- this backup can be saved on local storage (internal or SD card, use option "export as file") or on remote storage (cloud, Google drive, DropBox etc..., use option "export to app")
- those backup files can be imported ("import" option)
- the import adds all books in the file that are not in your library, it doesn't remove files (it is not a synchronization).
- so it can be used to merge several libraries for example (in case someone gives you his or her backup file), useful for sharing.
A new permission is therefore required now, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (actually this one is required only to get files from DropBox as far as I can tell ).

New release, version 1.3, brings up two new things :
- when scanning barcodes, the app now searches for a preinstalled barcode scanner app, if there is none the internal one is used. It is possible to force the use of the internal barcode in the new settings menu.
- in list view, public domain books are now signaled with a download icon. Clicking the book leads to detailed view which now displays download links for epub or pdf format.

- it is now possible to manage several libraries
- it means you can add or remove books from any library by touching the same icon as before.
- Navigation has been fully rebuilt and is now more intuitive and clean
***WARNING***
These are breaking changes !
EXPORT YOUR BOOKS BEFORE UPGRADING AND REIMPORT THEM AFTERWARDS WITH THE GENERATED FILE.
You will be prompted to choose in which library you want to add the previous books.
If you forgot to create a library you will also be prompted to create one.
For example use the export as file option, create an export file and reimport it after upgrading.
* Once you are in v2, export files will export ALL your libraries.
* Nonexistent libraries will be created during import.
* You can now create several libraries, so books can be sorted by themes or genres for example.
* Libraries can be deleted.
* Clicking any book not in a library will allow you to add it to any library.
* Clicking any book in a library will allow you to add it to or remove from any library.
So go get it in xda-labs.
