Where is the SystemUI.apk in the Factory Package?
I've extracted the complete system from the official hammerhead-krt16m-factory-bd9c39de.tgz, got at least deodexed it for theming,
but i can't find the normal SystemUI.apk in /system/app. They got a new name for it? Attached the largest apk's in system/app.
Does anyone know something?

Seems to be a place for unbranded apk's & system apps.

Hello,
I have a problem modifying the framework-res.apk
After decompiling the apk, I was able to change many
things, but now I am stuck with the background of the
message icon. The problem is, that somehow only this
icon has a black background. All others seem to be ok.
Since I have a white statusbar it is really annoying.
Maybe someone can help me?

thanks, now I got it!
This is my first boot animation and i want to share with you.
It works on my Overcome Jupiter Rom.
Rename the file from "bootanimation_rockon.zip" to "bootanimation.zip" and with Root Explorer copy it into "/system/media" and replace the one that's already there. (make a backup of the original one before) and change the permissions of that file to "rw-r--r--".
And reboot.
You know the blah blah, do it at your own risk, if makes your Tab explode is not my fault, just to let you know, on my Tab is working perfectly.

I currently using tickle my android to get the framework-res.apk, but i can't get the systemui.apk. should the framework-res.apk be enough to fix all the above problems? thanks for your help.

Please please backup your secondary framework jar for whatever reason you Can revert it back to your original framework.
Download attachment fix permission to rw-r-r then move it to system/framework.

Hello, I am new to xda forum and I know this is not where I should post but don't know where else to.
So I was messing with build.prop file in /system directory to enable features in some apps. After reboot I don't see it changed anything and now there's a black line under keyboard when I type.
