Hmm, what pacman version are you using and are you using BMM to install it? It could also be a bad download zip but I guess it would indicate that to you during the installation. Well if you did use bmm and installed it on system 1, try fxzing back to stock, reinstall bmm and try it again on a different system.

Ahaa, I guessed that was where you were going wrong. More recently introduced ROMs like pacman, aokp, carbon, etc. require that you use Boot Menu Manager (BMM) from the play store in order to install and run them successfully.
CM10 was one of our first working jb ROMs which used old bootstrap. But even the newer releases of cm require bmm now so we don't need bootstrap anymore except for like MIUI and older ROMs.
So if you still have bootstrap installed, you need to wipe its data in app management, uninstall it and then you're safe to install bmm. Read the bmm installation guide for further instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115715. I hope this helps you and good luck!

Can you access bmm at startup? If so, try wiping cache and dalvic cache of the system to see if it helps. If you can't access bmm, then you'll have to fxz back to stock, reroot and install bmm. If you mean your phone won't turn back on at all, then try pulling the battery and letting it charge for a while.

I could tell, but no worries. There are numerous threads in this section with guides for new A2 owners, especially a thread called 'The ask anything' thread.
For your current case, you have fell victim to what is called soft-bricking, which means there's a software failure preventing the phone from booting normally.
What you need to do is charge your battery externally with either a battery charger or using the Mcgyver method. (search and you will find it in this section). Once charged enough, put your phone into fastboot mode (hold the power button+ volume down button) and then use RSD lite or a fastboot script to flash the appropriate sbf file for your phone's region.
Use this thread for more details and ask for more assistance if needed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2245825 Good luck!

Are you coming from another phone, say, a 3G phone that the retailer may have taken the SIM card from and put into your A2?
The ATRIX 2 is a 4G phone, and if the SIM card from a 3G phone is used it will cause connectivity issues.

Not familiar with those phones. Try going to your provider's retail store and have them swap the SIM, that's where I'd start. I always request a new SIM card with each new phone, as they do have a shelf life -especially when swapping between two or more devices.

Are you in the US? Which atrix2 are you using?
What I noticed is that the at&t version is so tuned to at&t that it might have issues when you run it over other network because of some small frequency differences.
Previously I was using captivate which was also an at&t phone and I had similar problem but over time, there were several radio firmware that you could flash over and improve (or worsened ) the signal quality.
The atrix2 is not there yet..

Nop, you can proceed with the bootstrap but the thing of having CWM on boot it's that it something goes wrong when you install another rom (boot loop or something similar) is that you can reverse the damage by restoring a backup or flashing a another rom you have.
If you install the bullet rom keep in mind that it comes already with the CWM on boot feature so you don't need bootstrap anymore

Yup,that's what im thinking,i don't need to install CWM to run custom rom. But just like you said incase that i encounter problem i can't reverse the damage. I followed the instruction to put both the bootstrap and the CWM on the root of my SD card. I installed the bootsrap first and boot, and when im about to install the zip file of CWM, i can't find it. I tried many times to copy and paste and still the same,i can't find the CWM zip. What do you think is the problem?

Phone's signal is depended on hardware and its related firmware (baseband), so do not try many Roms to find the best for better signal (now we can't try to flash new baseband due to locked bootloader).

Is whatever you're flashing stated as compatible with your device/made for your device? Have you tried flashing with a different recovery (If available)?
I have Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 and was trying to flash the nexus 4 boot animation..

Both times it says “ install untrusted zip". I just tried to toggle verification and that did not help.

No. It's not safe to run untrusted.zip. It may be contained with viruses and may screw up your phone or PC. Only run files with actual names because you don't know if it's good or bad. It can crash your phone, not to mention your PC.

"Untrusted" is not the file name. The recovery is just stating that the file is "untrusted" since its not official from the manufacturer.
Hopefully your phone is rooted, if it's not I can't help ... make sure you have an unlocked bootloader and install Rom Toolkit from Google Play. Rom Toolkit has a bunch of boot animations for free, including the nexus 4 animation. Also, it will install these from the app itself - much easier than doing it in CWR.

I'm running jellywiz RLS12, yesterday I flashed a 4.2MOD pack over jellywiz. After flashing it, I realized I didn't want it. I tried to research how to “unflash" stuff but was unsuccessful, ended up having to do a factory reset and reinstall jellywiz.

Idk what happened here, did you maybe change the pixel density of your rom? I've never encountered an app glitch like this before.
Alternatively, if you want to use a different recovery then you could install TWRP Recovery using "GooManager" in the Play Store. Just hit Menu then select Install OpenRecoveryScript to install TWRP, it's all touch and fairly simple from there. Your pre-existing backups aren't compatible from CWM though.

You would know the pixel density is changed because you have to manually change it in the build.prop. You don't need to worry about it since you didn't do it. Plus, changing pixel density would alter the way your home screen and each app is displayed so it wouldn't be just one app that looked different.

[Q] So about this cyangenmod..

I'm trying to root my s3 and the goal is in the end to put cm on it. I'm bummed the installer doesn't work for our phone, but is there a good guide on here or elsewhere with the files I'll end and a how to?
Thanks in advance ( FYI, I've flashed and rooted multiple times before just never cm)
If you stop by Google and go to CyanogenMod's page, find the phone in the devices section. There are device specific guides there. If you want to try something else, go to the original development section, find the CyanogenMod ROM and follow the directions there.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2405425
Yeah, those didn't really help me...if I gave the file on my sd card should I be able to flash it from there with rom manager or goo manager?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
If you're rooted, and unlocked, do you have your nandroid backup set up with custom recovery? From there just use Goo Manager to boot into recovery, and then wipe your cache and then flash your ROM and appropriate Gapps pack. Process was fairly simple on my SIII using TWRP. Make sure you look up the appropriate Gapps zip before starting or you will wind up with key features inoperable and will have to reboot and load it onto your phone before finishing setup.
You'll like CM 10.1.x on the SIII, it runs very smoothly.
Nothing in the post I linked mentions Rom manager. The instructions work if followed.
Don't forget to do this either. Just in case. I've never had to restore, but i still have A & B covered

Well you need to uninstall bootstrap and download BMM from playstore. All the ROMs supports BMM. There's a thread on how to uninstall bootstrap safely, search for it . Good luck.
