Hi guys I have tried to get the stock international note 3 bootanimation along with the stock boot animation sound of the international note 3. I have tried on mine and it works ok. Remember to make a backup copy of the files you will replace in case you something happen or you dont want it.
Directions
1. Unzip the folder
2. Copy the bootsamsung.qmg, bootsamsungloop.qmg, bootsamsungmini.qmg, bootsamsungminiloop.qmg on system/media folder ( Make sure you correct the permission)
3. Copy the PowerOn.ogg on system/media/audio/ui (Make sure the permission is correct)
4. Reboot and no more At&t Crap bootanimation
UPDATE: Added shutdown animation of stock international
1. Unzip the folder
2. Copy the shutdown.qmg to system/media folder Make sure the permission is correct (now on at&t just removed the shutdownloop.qmg not sure if that file is present on t-mo but you can remove it or just transfer it to your sd card)
3. Reboot and you wont have the loop circle animation when you shutdown your device
Thank you sinichi21! Works perfectly. Finally rid of the last att crapware on my Straight Talk device.

I don't have T-mo but I added on the op the shutdown animation of stock international you can try it and see
Verified that this does not trip Knox!
Thank you sir! I was trying to get rid of the AT&T boot animation before through Rom Toolbox but it just made my lockscreen flash on/off. This is a cleaner solution.
I opted to not use the sound file, but renamed the stock one to PowerOn.bak and now I have a silent boot.
Thanks!

Yes it sure does if you install the shut down portion mentioned in the OP, works like a charm. Thanks a lot for this!!!!
This worked great. Thanks!!

Works great on my Verizon Note 3. The stock bootanimation was bright enough to sear retinas and induce seizures. Thanks for sharing this

Long press the .apk you just pasted and select PERMISSIONS and make sure you change permissions to match the original such as rw-r--r-- in this case. Make sure you do this for each .apk you paste so it matches permissions for the apk you are replacing.
wow it works awesome.. I just tried it on my bro's note 3.. thank u very much...
Wow thanks for the post, always thought this would be a little trickier. Don't know why people risk flashing "unknown" .zips to try and do this when all you gotta do is move a few files around but I digress. Thanks again for telling us the correct files, and for the ones you gave us it works perfect

As a quick side note, for anyone wanting to ditch boot sounds, the 'poweron.ogg' file can be renamed to 'nopoweron.ogg' or even removed to avoid boot sounds with any animation

For everyone that seriously dislikes the pinks as much as me here's a solution until the KG4/KG6 kernel can be modded to support custom animations. These will also work with any froyo build too.
I extracted the boot animations from the S2 stock ROM, since I couldn't seem to find them anywhere.
Copy and replace them with the ones you currently have in:
/System/Media/Bootsamsung.qmg
and
/System/Media/Bootsamsungloop.qmg

If you are on Gingerbread (KG4/KG6) you should be able to replace shutdown.qmg inside of /system/media/video/shutdown with bootsamsung.qmg.
I haven't tried this myself but it should work.
Froyo builds you would not be able to because it reads the PNG sequence of images in the same folder for the shutdown graphics.

I just deleted the shutdown.wav file from the location.
Has anyone got this to work? Mine does nothing when I select it for current location. Weird.
Not sure either, I think it only animates when the weather is rain. Although there is a mod in the verizon dev forums that enables animation for all weather variants but I'm not sure if it works for ATT.

well despite the apparent dozens of threads I hadn't seen one, thanks for pointing me to this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54487822&postcount=207
I just installed this and works a peach, I now have a sunshine animation, yay.
for those who are going to be confused by this, it's a flashable zip, which since we don't have a proper recovery, doesn't do us much good (although the fake recovery should be able to flash this, I haven't tried it)
you can open the zip and remove the apk and odex files and manually install them, reboot, and you'll be greeted with a lock screen animation for your weather. Tested and working.
Note: if you lock the screen before rebooting, systemui will continually crash
Yea I forgot to mention that you need to delete the odex and replace the apk with that one from the OP in that thread. That's the way I did it even with us having the recovery. Glad you got it working.

It's actually called LGKeyguard (why that is, I couldn't tell you). That is the correct .apk and .odex file, I just tested it out and it does work. I just renamed the 2 in /priv-app with a .bak extension (LGKeyguard.apk.bak for example) and moved the 2 new ones from the zip file into the folder. Just make sure to set the permissions the same as the rest of the files in the folder. Once you get the files in there, reboot and you should see the new animations.
When I download it, it only has the apk in the zip, not the odex. Are you leaving the original odex intact?

No, the one I downloaded had both the apk and the odex file. Make sure you download it from the post that specifies it's for the stock/odex ROMs, and not the one from his OP.

in theory it shouldn't matter, when you reboot if there's no odex it should make one, and if the odex is wrong in anyway it should remake it. so really as long as you get the apk in the right place with the right permissions and reboot all should be be fine ( the apk from the odex version, I think this might matter)
Worked great, thanks

Mine shows rain and thunder/lightning. However, once I ditched the stock weather widget (without freezing it uninstalling it), for "weather timeline" I lost the animations. Looks like you have to use the native weather widget for animations to work.

Doctor Who Boot/Shutdown animation for the LG G3 with sound!
WARNING
This is a disclaimer: While this has been tested I am not responsible for ANY damage done to your device. I take no responsibility for bootloops, soft bricks, hard bricks, living brick monsters, your phone proving an omnipotent being fallible(thus negating all existence), your great aunt smoking bath salts, flying monkeys, hot pockets, obamacare, dingleberries, carnivorous dingleberries or Sundays. Use at your own risk!!
Secondary disclaimer: If you have carnivorous dingleberries then you have bigger problems to worry about - but for any phone related questions feel free to message me on here either privately or in the thread.
This is my personal bootanimation for the Sprint LG G3 and I thought I would share it with any other Doctor Who fans out there. The original video is not my work, I simply did the leg work to turn it into a bootanimation. Doctor Who and the Tardis are registered trademarks of the BBC. If using the flashable zips, make sure you make a nandroid in TWRP before flashing these just in case. If you want to revert back to your original bootanimation you will have to restore your backup. I hope to make flashable stock zips eventually but until then, restoring your backup is your best option.
*NEW!* FLASHABLE ZIPS!!
Requires root access and TWRP recovery!
Google Drive
Download:LG G3 Bootanimation with sound!
Download:Sprint G3 Bootanimation with sound!
THESE FILES BELOW ARE NOT FLASHABLE ZIPS! Requires root access!! You have to manually put it into your system/media folder and change permissions(-rw-r--r-- aka 644). Also, you will want to delete your old boot animation(make a backup!). The G3 has two bootanimations on Sprint so if you have the same model I do you will want to replace both bootanimation.zip and bootanimation_sprint.zip(Just rename this file and have two copies in system/media). Then manually put Power_On.ogg(Sprint also has two copies of the boot sound so rename a copy of this to PowerOn_Sprint.ogg as well) into system/media/audio/ui for working sound! You ALSO need to either replace the files in carrier/cust/poweron or just delete that folder altogether(That's what I did).
For the shutdown animation it's the same. Replace shutdownanimation.zip(and shutdownanimation_sprint.zip if you are on sprint) and PowerOff.ogg(PowerOff_Sprint.ogg) to have a new shutdown animation with sound.
I believe At&t, Verizon and Tmobile would be easier but have no way of testing. If anyone wants to give detailed directions for the other carriers, it would be greatly appreciated.
Again, make sure you have backups of your original files saved to your computer. For me if something didnt work I would get a black screen but it would still boot. Other phones can soft brick but it looks like the G3 isn't one of em - still, better safe than sorry! I never ask for donations but if you like/use it, you could always hit that thank button!

TARDIS LOCK/UNLOCK SOUNDS!
Below you will find two flashable zip files - one to change your lock sounds to the Tardis, another to change them back to stock. As always my disclaimer is in full effect - make a nandroid backup in TWRP just in case. Simply reboot into TWRP recovery, make a nandroid backup, then install your chosen flashable zip and reboot.

You can search the root partition of your phone and see if those files are anywhere else, then replace them. I know they are in system/media/audio/ui and the carrier/cust/ folders.....I can't remember if they were in system media with the bootanimations as well......
As long as they are in the right places with the right permissions they should work.
Sorry btw, I just saw this.
EDIT: Just realized this was the one I posted in the general forum. I'm on Sprint so I'm not sure where the other carrier's boot sounds are. If you find out which ones they are and what they are named exactly, let me know so I can update the OP.

Batman Theme for Sprint Galaxy S4
Standard Disclaimer: It's your phone.. If you brick your phone, or it becomes self aware and takes over the world, I am not responsible.
Themed phone/contacts, Messaging, Calendar, and Accuweather. Has been tested on NG2 ROM. There is no fw-res modifications so it should work on any NG2 rom. (Sacs, Triforce, ect).
Thanks to @2WhiteWolves for testing on NAE. The apps work fine (calendar, Accuweather), but the priv-apps (SecPhone, contacts, and messaging) are very buggy and are not recomended for use. Thanks for testing for me.
NOTE: You will no longer have phone/contacts in your drawer. They are now BatPhone/Superfriends.
I will post screenshots in post 2 & 3
Download Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzpfAdALNa_gQ00wSnphRUlWSEE/view?usp=sharing
There are 2 installation options
Full Installation:
Do a backup prior to flashing this or anything else
No wipe required
1) Download zip, put on phone storage
2)Install zip from SD
3)reboot and enjoy
Partial Installation:
1) Unzip and place wanted apk files on SD card
2) with root explorer, find corresponding apk in system/app or priv-app. rename to .bak EXAMPLE: SecPhone.apk.bak
3)Copy themed apk to proper folder, and set permissions to rw-r-r
4)reboot
If you have any issues you can just delete the themed apk then delete the .bak from the original and you will be back to stock.
Hope you enjoy it.

Tried the SecPhone apk, did not work. Set permission, rebooted was still the same. No big deal, just wanted to try for you to see if it would on NAE. Don't really want an all theme batman, but I do think it is cool. Hopefully the boot animation works on the NG2 for you, please let me know if does or doesn't. I just flashed the Joker boot, everything worked start up boot and shutdown boot. Did you go into root explorer to system> media and do bootsamsung.qmg to bootsamsung.qmg.bak and same with bootsamsungloop.qmg to bootsamsungloop.qmg.bak ? This is what I did.
Don't know if that will make a difference or not.
Didn't have to rename or do that sprint specific boot animation.
I am on Odexed (mostly stock) Super S4 1.5 by at g_ding84 and still on bootloader MF9.

I'll rename them then copy and paste them instead of flashing it. See if that works.

It didn't. And what is weird is that after naming them to .bak , the stock animation still works.

If you did just the Sec Phone.apk, you would still have the stock phone. The dialer is in SecContacts.apk. The phone apk handles everything after the call is made.

Ok, I will try again later today.

I went through today and kept changing the boot animations to .baking until I didn't have any boot animation. My phone was using the XAS_bootanimation. I don't even know what carrier that is. But it is working now.

Did the SecContacts_OSup.apk, it worked [emoji2] But when I push on the contact pic to get to their info, it goes black and goes back to home page. Maybe it's because I need to do all your theme.?
It's cool that the bat icon shows when you push on the numbers [emoji106].
I might leave it this way till I get to show my nephews.
Edit: Glad you got it going [emoji41] [emoji106]

You don't have to do the whole theme, but SecPhone/SecContacts work together. Having them both might help, or it might just be a little buggy on NAE. Try them together.
Now that I got the boot animation working I changed the boot sound. (It plays Batman Ridin') If you want to try it I attached it. unzip, copy the .ogg and paste it in system/media/audio/ui. It is not a flashable zip.

Tried the sound it worked. Did the SecPhone.apk with the SecContacts_OSup.apk it didn't help. In superfriends sliding to call made the android process stop working, also dialing did same thing. Deleted it and was able to call out again, it also let's me get to text messaging by sliding, does everything except for getting to contact info. The contact pics are still there, plus on the ones that don't have pics with phone #'s show what you did. Noticed in my goggle account everything had synced except for people details. Sorry I'm not on NG2 to actually tell you if things work or not. I'm glad I can show off your work on the SecContacts_OSup.apk. and the sound.

This is for Stock Sprint Note 4 ANIE odexed
4.4.4 has proven to be a challenge. So I have not completed a full theme yet. But If you are tired of the stock dialer and message, here is something to try.
Something happened with my dropbox, and this theme could have been forever. But @KLPFL came through with a copy to repost... Big thanks!!!!

Yes, there will be others. Once I get a complete theme together, i will be putting out different ones. It is just taking a while because 4.4.4 is challenging. I will do one without the pictures next.

I have put out a semi transparent theme for the note 4. You can find it in themes and apps. Yellow gone. Batman backgrounds gone. It works off your wallpaper. Check it out if you are still looking.

First of all, google qmg to png converter. Find the one that is an an apk. It will convert and put files right on your phone. Only replace the pngs you want to modify so you don't make the apk too big. As far as the dialer background, you need to write the background in in your styles.xml. it has gotten a little harder on 4.4.4. Look for DeviceDefault and stay there.

Put the icons in whatever folder they came out of.. Probable drawable-sw360dp-xxhdpi and delete the qmg or astc file with the same name. You have to search for the colors. They are not all in one place.
