This is an unoffical build of CyanogenMod 10.2 for the Samsung GalaxyTab-Plus.
It is in the very early experimental state. Some functions are not working yet. Please take a good look before flashing.
After spending a few weekends to make it boot, another few hours to build for GT-Plus seems worth.
For Change Log and Known Issues, please visit my thread for 7.7:

Waiting for the changelog..
There are not many ROM for tab plus, so if you make this ROM happen. I really appreciate it.

This ROM is using kernel series 3.0.x, which has reached end-of-life at 3.0.101. Are there any barriers to using a later (and still maintained) kernel series?
So far it's working great on my 6210 in any case. Thanks!

Official Samsung kernel for Exynos4 is upto 3.0.31. I have tried 3.4 briefly, A lots of drivers require to fill and PM is different. Keeping up with the Android platform is already a tough job for me. My resource is limited, don't want to waste time on that.
The existing kernel has been tuned for a long time. It is by far the better I can do... :cyclops:
If anyone want to help and/or try, it would be more than welcome...

I've just installed the 28OCT2013 build on my P6200. It can boot, but right after booting, it shows a popup "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped".
I click it everytime, but it still shows up again. And I can't do anything to hide it.
Any workaround here?

You probably have a dirty falsh. I assume you are at CWM 6.0x or TWRP. It would be safe to do a factory reset in recovery and reboot.
Good luck!

Oh yeah, I solved that problem, but another comes up. In the phone app, when I hang up a call while waiting for the answer, the click on the end call button doesn't help. It still remains waiting until 1 minute default waiting time finishes.
Another problem is with some apps. It occasionally shows up a small black part (try TubeMate and see), and even some apps like Next Browser flash a black really fast then back to normal.
Please fix it soon. Thank you!!

I also had the "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped"....Reflashed everything,, reboot, factory reset. Nothing works. I had to restore.
Anyone with that problem?
note: I used "pa_gapps-full-4.3-20131024-signed.zip" Should I have used the other gapps?

Not only did a factory reset, I also cleared cache, wiped dalvik cache, then reflashed only the rom, and that problem didn't come up again.
Ahhhh, I found another big problem with this rom is battery is so much worse than on Android 4.2.
And another really BIG problem is noone can call me, but I can call others, and send & receive messages.

Bluetooth wont work, check changelog 1st post

I finally managed to install the rom...the only bug I seem to have is that the browser doesn't open full page.
Any work around/suggestion?
Otherwise, a great plus value . Thanks Daniel

Since many devices with many different specs get unofficial KitKat built from AOSP, CM, Omni... (Nexus 4, 7, 10 - especially Nexus 10 has an Exynos processor, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, Xperia Z, Optimus G, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 3...), and while building Android 4.3 seems to struggle a lot, I think it's time for Daniel to look forward to KitKat.
I have a very little knowledge of buiding Android rom, but I think it'll be not that fast if KitKat is not easy to build.

Do not want to be intrusive but, is this rom dead?. Kind of quiet for last few days.

Awesome rom..

What is CyanogenMod:
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

You forgot to include "Phone calls/Network" in the working features. That's a main point. If it's there, then only people will think on flashing it.

Ummm....I have a question. After this ROM is finally ready for daily use...I mean I know this is going to take time, but will the Galaxy R then appear on the official CM site as a supported device?

Don't flash it on XWLA4! When I did, I had to face force close problems and no auto synchronization. Also I couldn't sign into my google account.
So then I flashed ZSLE6 first and then flashed this ROM. Then everything worked perfectly [Those which should work].

I've also flashed on Neo V3 only buddy but i haven't faced any issues....
@vikram
Kindly include the step to take a backup of the previous firmware as a step before all the others.
In case of boot loop they can restore their previous firmware from the backup created. I've just added this in the FAQ's.
Correct me if I'm wrong ?
EDIT:
- A few FAQ's have been added here & more are gonna be added soon, will try to keep on updating them through all the upgrades CM ROM receives but kindly do not have a discussion on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773917
- If you want me to add some new Q & A then post it in that thread, I'll add it asap.

Maybe you can try wipe data / factory reset again in recovery.
It once happened to me on the Blade while flashing CM7 when wipe data again did the trick.

Can someone at least confirm if I am using the right zip file? I even verified md5sum and my zip is 100% correct.
I reverted back to stock everything works fine. Then I tried again with CWM 4.0.0.2 and still no incoming calls.
Someone please help me. Am I doing something wrong or am I the only unlucky one?

i don't see the point in posting a package that mess up recovery and doesn't work...now with the update,it's began the run to "who first compile and post a 4.2 rom"and doing that in a hurry, neither test what they upload....
I've compiled AOSP also but without GAPPS it's as useless as a screen door on a submarine. I could have posted a ROM just like this 24hrs ago but it's useless. You can't sign in, no toggles pull down.. Nothing. It's a web browser and a clock at most.. Just wait for someone to put a legit gapps package together.

I'm just sitting back on 4.1.2 and waiting for development to catch up.. I'm not moving back to 4.2 until the TWRP and CWM team figure out how to deal with Android burying the user folder another level everytime they factory reset.
4.2 is an odd bird.. It really is the Windows Vista of Android.. I don't like it at all and in no real hurry to leave 4.1.2 yet.
I have a question in regards to AOSP ROMs. Isn't the stock Nexus 7 ROM a Pure AOSP rom?
What's the difference between the one compiled by you vs. the one from Google?
Thanks, and much appreciated.

The best and smoothest configuration I've found is to overclock to 1.5GHz and change the runtime to ART.
Although, ART is not "officially" supported by CarbonROM, so please do not report issues if you have ART Runtime enabled.

Thanks, I don't think the whole build process went too bad considering it was my first time ever building from source. First build booted right up, too...

What do you mean by "freezes on black screen"? I cannot seem to duplicate the issue you're having...

The same thing happened to me at first. Advanced wiping everything but internal storage made it work for me the second time.
You must wipe system, then factory reset, then wipe delvik... Then flash. In that order. It will work.
Google keyboard f/c's and back button doesn't work until you uncheck google keyboard. No tablet ui? Overall nice.

Please read the "Suggested Flashing Instructions" in the Original Post. These seem to be the only way for people to get it to boot.
Nice ROM considering it's your first ever ROM from source and I am not seeing black screens of the lock of death!

I did the suggested flashing inst. It didn't work , but what did work was a wipe system, reboot into recovery, factory reset, wipe dalvik . worked flawlessly, nice ROM, nice and smooth . good job r3pwn!

You must always "swipe" before flashing the ROM and wipe Dalvik and Cache after or you will have issues. This excludes those who dirty flash in applicable situations.

There is definitely an issue with booting. All I get is the black screen. I have tried 4 clean installs and this will not boot for me. You might take a look at the build and see whats going on. Let me know when it's fixed and i will give it another shot.
Just to double/triple check, I flashed a total of 5 times, each using the "Suggested Flashing Instructions". I had 3 out of 5 tries successful. Not a huge issue, but I'll need to look into it some more. I'll try viktormax3's suggestion to see if it works.

[ROM][Flo][12/2/14] - Factory Stock Rooted ROM - LRX22C - Android 5.0.1! Lollipop!

AS the name implies this is a stock rooted Android 5.0.1 Lollipop ROM!
The one we have been waiting for!
Features
100% Stock
Rooted
Busybox
No other edits
FSTRIM on install
Powered by SuperSU
Notes:
Should update bootloader. It is attached as a ZIP file but is not flashable! You need to fastboot flash it. For those in windows I have batch file in there along with ADB and fastboot.
First boot is a loooooooooooong time! About 5 to 7 minutes!
You must be on TWRP 2.8.1.0+ for this ROM to Flash properly!
Troubleshooting
If you get no status bar reboot to recovery and clear all cache. If that doesnt work try flashing the factory image then flash TWRP again and then this ROM.
Getting Symlinks failed during install? Make sure /system is unchecked in TWRP mounts
Problems with internal storage? Look at THIS POST for fix by @freakzapster
Root not working right? Flash newer SuperSU by @Chainfire but play store update should be fine!

Let me know what you guys think... They changed some things around and I am "semi" anticipating problems. Obviously I had zero testing time beings I started on it as soon as I got out of work and upload it after a very minimal function test: Play Store, Hangouts, GPS, Maps and that was it.
Let me know if you see any issues.
Well that was fast!
Apart from updated binaries any other noticeable changes?
Thanks! Been waiting for this one ☺.
You mention in OP updating bootloader- what version is required? Say I'm on ver 4.02, do I need to update it?
Downloading now...

Sorry... I put the bootloader in the op and you should be on 4.04.
You can prolly get buy with 4.02, many people did on the initial 5.0.0. release.

Normally me too , but I figured since it was only a minor update and I was already running the same stock 5.0.0 ROM I'd give it a try. Eveything seems fine so far. No issues at all yet.
Flashed ROM , works great. Ty scrosler
Edit: Sadly tons of 3rd party apps still haven't been updated for Lollipop even after almost 1 month since it was released. Minion Rush and Dead Trigger 2 still work like I have a 2009 device. It's the app's fault or Lollipop's hardware acceleration or memory management, but I am 80% sure that it's because those apps haven't been updated. They work fine for 2 seconds then another 2-3 seconds they go into slow motion mode and sadly I have to go back to KK until this is fixed
Dirty flashed over stock rooted 5.0.0... No issues... And no noticeable differences between both, so far.
Are there any problems if we use CWM instead of TWRP? I'm not a TWRP kid of guy...
Thanks.
So it looks like YouTube mediaplayer is fixed and (at last!) volume control on animated gifs in Instagram works properly (previously it was changing notifications level not media). Hopefully WiFi connection will be also stable but this needs a longer testing.
TY scrosler.
Ok, flashed one hour ago, maked the wipes and all pretty smooth here.
Scott youre the master! As always
Running perfect, but I didn't have a problem with 5.0 either.
If this fixes YouTube I'll be pleased as punch :thumbup:

****Please Understand that the CM12 Theme Engine is in its early stages and some things may not work or function as they should. Use at your own risk and don't complain about themes in this thread. Our Team has worked really hard to theme this ROM the way we like it....The CM team has to get their theme engine bugs worked out, we are just happy to have it in there to play around with for now.....ALSO, please don't ask us about anything to do with xposed framework as Validus does not support xposed. Use it at your own risk and please don't report ANY bugs you may encounter while using it.

Why not asking for skyricket build in g+ page.. Hes always there. I did but he said to use t989 boot.img.. To me seemed faster but you need to enable fsync or any data will be lost.. I think its been fixed on t989 build.. And data netwok too ; think.

Ok so I switched out the build prop, update script and the apns conf.
It still took a bit to get all the apps optimized but the network came right up. Testing it now but so far it seems quite an improvement over what we had.
It's running much smoother. I'm quite impressed with the improvement

Actually it's working very nicely after a second install. I'm unloading it to my Android file host account if anyone wants a copy let me know.
I developed a couple s4 roms and created some apps so I have an account
I won't be here long though because I'm getting a nexus 6
