press thanks if you liked my work

you should add the info that we must delete the "txt" ending of the filename,otherwise it dont work.

Nice start! As -CALIBAN666- said, you will have to remove the ".txt" extension. This script changes your CPU frequency and governor.
In your script you will only need one
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
I suggest you to keep the Min. frequency at 312MHz or 156Mhz. Yes, keeping the Min. frequency at 832Mhz will improve your devices' performance at the cost of battery life.
Code:
echo "832000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
echo "312000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
or
Code:
echo "156000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
If you need help with scripts just PM me, I'll be happy to help.

Ah nice try!
Best of luck mate!

yes you can,just if you read the OP I said C kerenls too and MIUI use a CM kernel!
Actually, it will clash with ThunderBolt! as it is setting some of the tunables that ThunderBolt! also sets. :/
AFAIK all of the tunables in here are already in ThunderBolt! (using ThunderBolt!'s values though).

Good job dude. Just a little question. Does it clash with options in tweak app (options like like ram min free, i/o schedular etc) which get installed with UC doomlord's kernel?? Also I have a small problem. I have observed that many times my some apps get auto closes automatically while doing multitasking. Can u make a script which will help me to keep apps open in background until I close it manually??
Thank You...!!
it is only 12k. why zip it?

First to Avoid Any Clash Disable Zipalign+RAM script in Tweaks app and for The closed Apps while Multitasking is due to the LMK(Low Memory killer),you can use you're phone without My script Because The I9003 had 487 of RAM witch Make it Less Lags and an other think this script is made for heavy users or the ones who want to say good bye to lags !!

[MOD] Get Governers of your choice on your Custom-ROM or Kernel

Hello people!
Here is something interesting for everyone..
You can get the Governer of your choice on your Custom ROM or Kernel.
Governers Present in this pack-
Lazy
Scary
Brazilianwax
Minmax
Lionheart
SmartassV2
Conservative
Userspace
Ondemand
Interactive
InteractiveX
Savagedzen
Lagfree
Download this zip and flash it via CWM
Make sure you have atleast 2mb of space free in /system.
Incase you do not wan't to use a particular governer.
Using Root Explorer , go to /system/etc/init.d
Open up 'insmod_governers' with text editor.
For Eg. If you do not wan't lagfree governer, strike out this line.
Code:
insmod /system/lib/modules/governers/cpufreq_lagfree.ko
Same applies for other Governers.
NOTE TO ALL ROM Developers:
If you wish to use a particular governer, simple copy over the module to /system/lib/modules/governers
In your updater script add this line while setting permissions,
For Example:
Code:
set_perm(0, 0, 0777, "/system/lib/modules/governers/cpufreq_lagfree.ko");
Now final step,
Open up any init.d script and add this line,
Code:
insmod /system/lib/modules/governers/cpufreq_lagfree.ko
Here I have taken lagfree as an example , you may use any governer of your choice.
PS: This will work only on Universal-CF-ROOT or Kernels with CF-ROOT Ramdisk.
The Idea-
The idea here was building the cpufreq drivers as Loadable modules. Here by 'insmod' we load the module thereby making the Cpufreq driver i.e Governer to work.
Hit Thanks if this helped you! Enjoy, Cheers , bye
WOW! Nice work!
Will this work on Bam Custom Kernel #13.. yes I am using the universal one with the CF-root ramdisk. Will this work?

( of course , maybe , it can work also in 3.x kernel )

Nice idea to distribute IO governor as a kernel module. Althought I do not own a I9003 any more, I still feel nice to see such a development on I9003 forum.
btw, since you are distributing the binary compiled from GPL src code, make sure you upload and distribute the src code as well.

01insmod_governers
02insmod_governers~
?
Hey adi_pat dont works for me, i have KPU and cf-root bam kernel 12. I flashed your zip and gives me bootloop, i had deleted insimod_goveres from init.d

Numbers are useful to organize init.d scripts, because they are always executed in alphabetic order (numbers have the priority over letters).
Sometimes scripts need to be executed in a determined order, but not this/these.
You can delete insmod_governers~. Usually, files that end with '~' are a backup copy made by text editors: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilde#Backup_filenames
@Adi_Pat
I think it's better to remove it from the flashable zip, because when you extract a zip, extracted files usually get "Execute" permission, so users will have the same script executed two times, but I'm not sure.
(there's updater-script~ too, but this one shouldn't give problems)
EDIT:
The backup copy is different and I think it does nothing, but it's still better to remove it.
@IoSconoscutio
I actually set permissions for modules to chmod 777 as well as chmod 777 for the init.d script. I made it flashable because people may find it difficult to manually insert each module.

ICS Kernel 3.0.21 Modules Overclock and more

I compiled overclock modules to work with our kernel. I repeat i did not make modules i only compiled them.
Here is original thread:
You can change freq and voltage of cpu.
Thanks to whirleyes
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1754888
Usage:
Root is needed
copy symsearch.ko and cpu_control.ko to /system/lib/modules
change permissions to rw-r-r and owner to root-root
open terminal and type
Code:
su
insmod /system/lib/modules/symsearch.ko
insmod /system/lib/modules/cpu_control.ko
always load symsearch first.
to get default freq and voltage table:
Code:
cat /proc/cpu_control/opp_table_default
example for our cpu:
Id Freq Volt(mV)
0 300 1025
1 600 1200
2 800 1325
3 1000 1388
to get current freq and voltage table:
Code:
cat /proc/cpu_control/opp_table_current
to get current CPU & GPU frequency
Code:
cat /proc/cpu_control/frequency_current
to change freq and voltage type or make a script to do it:
echo id frequency(Mhz) voltage(mV) > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
Code:
echo 0 300 980 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 1 600 1200 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 2 800 1300 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 3 1200 1370 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
You will have to try what is best for you.
And it is you own fault if you do something wrong with your phone. You are responsible for any damage not me.
This will work on all ICS omap4430 lg phones like p940 su640 su760 p760 p720 su870 with 3.0.21 kernel
Comfirmed working on L9:

OK, the insmod of this two modules can be added with the autostart.sh script of the other three modules, is right?
And the echo should be added into the init.d but is our actual kernel able to read init.d ?

highest is around 2000+
@hell_lock: you can forget the old result which around 2000. you won't get that with the newest benchmarking app (antutu). new benchmarking app use different method to calculate the system performance. I never saw any result touch 1900 with the newest version. anyway, let's get to the business. @OP: I've seen the code and I found
Code:
echo 7035 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
echo 8002 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
echo 11000 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
echo 13060 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
echo 14005 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
sgy have different set of hardware and this part wont work.
Code:
setprop dalvik.vm.startheapsize 48;
setprop cm.filesystem.ready 1;
setprop oxygen.filesystem.ready 1;
1st line obviously never work on GB rom. 2nd and 3rd line doesn't have any effect on system performance.
it's seems that you've made a quite good job here for your first tweak. there are several aspect need some fixes but overall it's quite good for a daily usage tweak. there are also some aspect you could improve to get a better result but for a first made tweak, its indeed a nice stuff. keep it up mate.

use chainfire and clear ram before starting antutu.
Sire all I can get is 1800+ not beyond that ... Even though i clear my RAM and use CF3d ...
My RAM usage always go down to 77.6 mb when I clear my RAM

Friendzzz.... do not use with evolution rom the rom is itself awesome but any yweak on it it may lead to problem with customization and your phone may also go brick off...

FAQ's
Q why all scripts are empty/blank
Ans download scripts.zip and use the way you want to (folder name is the size of swap created ). just replace the way you want
Q still only 1ghz is maximum freq/ how to overclock?
Ans use following command to overclock ARMPLL and MAINPLL (CAUTION MAINPLL BOOST CAN STUCK SOMETIME )
Code:
echo 0 0x000051e0 > /proc/clkmgr/pll_fsel
echo 1 0x00002840 > /proc/clkmgr/pll_fsel
and following to restore original value
Code:
echo 0 0x00004ca0 > /proc/clkmgr/pll_fsel
echo 1 0x00002760 > /proc/clkmgr/pll_fsel
Q overclocking resets at boot
Ans It isnt a bug ,i want it that way .Edit bindassboost script in init.d to auto overclock
Q Screen doesnt wake up sometimes
Ans problem caused by some script that tries to wake/sleep core as my kernel does it auto so conflict is created which prevents screen wakeup
delete all init.d script that has echo 0/1 > **cpux/online comand and check whether problem solved or not (my kernel isnt compatible with suvi script)
Q battery draining faster in v2.3
Ans s2w/s2s/dt2w features come at cost of little battery drain as now touchpannel doent went off during sleep to report touch event and interrupt processor is some conditions are met
athough it may be battery stats prob too try charge till 100 and full discharge 1-2 time to calibrate battery
Q DT2W doesnt work sometime
Ans double tap detects time diffrence b/w odd and even touches at even no. of touch try tapping 3 times in row cause there may be a touch reported earlier and time crieteria doesnt met
Q phone take sometime to wake up little long
Ans s2w feature schedule power on button emulation to prevent synchronization thus if something heavy or power saving is on then processor takes time to service interrupt caused by s2w
Q what is Zram
Ans Zram is compressed swap block created in ram itself thus has higher speed and reduce i/o
high usage of zram has impact on battery life although marginally at usage > 75%
Q what is Snappy
Anssnappy is compression algorithm from google to speed up compression/decompression .snaapy provide 39% compression ratio ant speed of arround 300mbps thus
64mb zram can accomodate 164 mb data so in total you have 512-64+164 = 612 ram
Q what is LZ4
Ans lz4 is currently fastest algorith with speed of more than 400 mbps that is 33% higher than snappy with compression ratio of about 44% (worst case) but higher speed produces less lag 0.25s to compress 100mb data

HOW TO OVERCLOCK
instruction
1. download (xposed module isnt working now will fix it later)
2. add BBoost Game Mode widget to homescreen
3. this app behave as toggle button click to switch b/w stock and overclock
