I used his 5x5 launcher and worked fine for me. I renamed original .bak, then copied over to my /system/app folder. Set permissions to rw-r-r
This is not my work, just linking and confirming that it works!

not working here. ill try again
I've tried his launchers and though they work great, the widgets did not. Especially the stock ones.

Hello,
For people who don't like the scrolling page per page in the app drawer, here's the files, just replace the existing files whith the news, set permissions and reboot.
Changed files are based on stock rosie 5*4 app drawer.
The com.htc.framework.jar file disable the pagination so with RootExplorer (for example),copy-it in system/framework.
The rosie.apk file erase the grey line for the page,copy-it in system/app.
Permissions:rw-r--r--
Works perfect whith Android Revolution 3.6.1 (1.73.401.2),so it should work with other roms based on 1.73.401.2 and perhaps 1.45.401.2,same files.
Ps:if you have black screen after changing the permissions to rosie.apk, don't panic, just reboot the phone whith the button and enjoy!
I used this topic for help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1231427,so thanks for the tip and credits to them.
Here's the files (NOT A FLASHING ZIP):

I hope this will be useful
My first thread in this forum. Completely transparent widget extracted from another rom.
http://www.fileserve.com/file/2Qg75sB/SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk
Best way to install it is to get root explorer, go to system / apps and rename the existing SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk to SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk.bak as a backup in case you decide you want to go back to the stock widget. Now paste the downloaded file into the same location, go to the homescreen and add the widget. It should appear transparent.
Hope it helps.
Currently tested and working on cassies LA6 ultralight rom v8.
thanx working on LA4 deodexed too!
No, it works!
I tried to install it on XXLA4 (axlor4) and after rebooting, dragging the widget on my desktop displays an error message.

what error do you get? Also make sure the system / apps folder is writeable. Merely copying the file wont' cut it. I imagine you are rooted.
thanx very good
working fine on lb1. thx
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA
works great on stock deodexed LA6.cheers buddy!
is it possible to remove the accuweather.com text? in 1x4 mode its making it look ugly.
Just FYI It doesn't work on LB2.
Might be a stupid question but I'm running SlimICS and hate Zeam. It seems he deleted the launcher2 from system/app and can't seem to find a (preferably) downloadable zip.
Can someone provide a flashable up to date default launcher?
If not, perhaps a flashable up to date Trebuchet?
I've done quite a bit of googling but that fake ICS launcher pops up a lot, and any Trebuchet links are bad
Thanks much!
download either
NOVA launcher
or
Apex Launcher
both can be placed in system/app.. to allow widgets in menu
both are amazingly smooth.. much faster than stock and more customizable
You can download a stock rom and just pull it from the app folder.
Place the apk in system/app folder and set same permissions as others. Then reboot.

Awesome, that works perfect, didn't even thing about that. Thanks so much )
There is also a .zip to flash all the stuff that is left out of Slim. I think it's under the 2.6 update.
I tried NOVA and APEX, both are very comfortable and smooth. I am on APEX now

I didn't make this but it does work for us, just knew it would get more attention over here.
unzip the file, copy the app to system/app, set permissions, then copy lib file to system/lib. Go into system/app, install the app and you are good to go!
It is soooooo smooth on cm9, I love it.
Hi Modders/Guys,
Is there a way we can port the new stock Samsung keyboard from the DXLRK Rom? I've heard it's much better one than the stock keyboard on LRG. (on the stock LRG, when I typed emails/texts, everytime I hit the "Space' bar, I often times hit the period '.' key as well..(I got big thumbs actually )
Any possibility perhaps if anyone can extract this from the LRK Rom?
Thanks and highly appreciate if somebody can do it.
Hello there!
Heres the keyboard and files to make it work. In theory this works for all roms including none Touchwiz based.
How to install:
download attachment.
1) Download zip file (Samkeyboard.zip) from the link below.
2) Using root explorer or same kind of tool, place these files and set the permissions -
Only Deodexed. (Screenshots yet to come)
Touchwiz.xml put in /system/etc/permissions and set permission to rw-r--r-- (I have attached a screenshot, see it if you dont understand the permission stuff)
libdhwr.so put in /system/lib and set permission to rw-r--r--
libXt9_core.so put in /system/lib and set permission to rw-r--r--
T9db folder(with all files inside, copy this whole folder)
put in /system and set permission to rwxr-xr-x
AxT9IME.apk put in /system /app and set permission to rw-r--r--
Enjoy! Remmember to press THANKS ;D
Credits: Drivingdroids for gathering files and taking time to kinda make it...
And to tj_droid for doing this for the ace and showed me the correct files. also His instructions.
Extra: there might be bugs with some CM9 roms(untested) PRESS THANKS
