Hi,
I have been looking everywhere to find a solution to rotate the imate JAQ screen to portrait mode.
I have managed to bring the screen rotation panel in settings. But when I change the rotation to portrait mode, there is no response from the screen, but when I tap the close button, it opens menu screen.
Can anybody help me to change the screen rotation successfully, as there are lot of applications which needs portrait mode to run properly.
if you have any suggestion pls. send a mail to me: [email protected]
Is there a program that locks the screen orientation so it only stays landscape?
I have a touch pro and would like the screen orientation to stay in landscape
and thanks in ahead of time
just some ideas but you could try the screen rotation software and set its default rotation to the landscape your after and dont allow any other rotations.
better yet if you can disable gsens rotation and set the screen rotation option in settings->screen to landscape (if its not there download advanced config and use that to enable the option)
I want to use Gyrator to automatically rotate TomTom into landscape mode irrelevant of the phones orientation.
the reason is I use the phone on my motorbike and it sits flat. Also with the cornering it ends up rotating all the time.
How do I do that?
Currently I have a new event called TomTom and the flag is set to 0. No orientation and no Stylus.
MunichWinClass
No Orientation
No Stylus
Actions. Rotate Screen
How do I get it to trigger just on seeing the app and to only lock it into the Landscape position?
Sort of solution
I have adjusted it so it actions on orientation and it only rotates in Landscape. Once rotated it won't rotate back out.
eg
TomTom : 1
MunichWinClass
Landscape
No Stylus settings selected
Actions. Rotate Screen
Would be nice to have it trigger on application startup detect??
I had checked box auto rotate screen but screen is not vertical when i rotate my phone to vertical! Any one help me!

Click to collapse
Turn Auto rotate, Portrait, or Landscape mode on or off
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
Look for the screen orientation icon. ...
If the screen is locked in Portrait or Landscape mode and you need to change it, tap the icon (either Portrait or Landscape) so it activates Auto rotate
