Volume enhancer, galaxy nexus

Hello,
Can anybody tell me how can i enhance the speaker volume of my galaxy nexus?
Volume+ is not working properly. Help!!!!!

try out some equalizer apps?
dsp manager might work imo, but iirc it depends on the rom or something like that for it to work 100%

Well i guess that is because i am on jelly bean and it may not be compatible with android 4.1.1 yet?

I use audio boost sgs2 maybe you can find 1 for Nexus. It's a great app.

I had one built and working previously but changes made to the CM kernel a while back rendered it non working. I'll have to commandeer my wife's S3 and start working on it again. I still need to find time to work on our S4 as well

Yeah obvious malware and that's an app permission screen.
There is no way you were on 4.3 touchwiz, if that's a touchwiz rom. Eitherway 4.4 isn't even out yet, at all.

Its an app. Google wouldn't send out a upgrade in a app
