Hey guys i need help with my evo 3D i have been struggling to make it turn on. So half year ago I unlock the bootloader and rooted it. But the problem was that i could not make S-Off and i accidently wiped it and i installed a custom rom and it worked for 4 days but afterwards it started to reboot itself but it never passed the rom boot so then i installed the stock recovery and once it turned on it only let me select the language and then it turn off this was the last time i could make it turn on. Now it only goes into bootloader but it does not go into recovery, everytime i try to go into recovery th htc logo appears and it turns off, i tried to flash the recovery through fastboot, it does send it and write it on the phone but it never go into recovery. I also tried to install PG86IMG.zip ( with relocked and unlcked bootloader ) but it never ask me to update or not it only recognizes it. By the way i used Twrp modified recovery to install the custom roms, i have tried flash cwm recovery, recovery signed, twrp modified but it has not work. :crying::crying::crying: Thank you for reading this i would really appriciate your help guys .

Well im stuch on the boot screen with htc quietly brilliant logo , and i cant get into safe mode by holding the volume down , i stay at the same place , im on stock rom , i tried recovery from the boot menu but it gave me a red triangle error. my last option is factory reset , or there is a solution for this ? i cant lose the data , i have important information for my job, i backup my notes every 2 days , today happened to the be the 2nd day and my phone is failing to operate . Hope someone can help me with this.

are you rooted?
what exactly did you do and you get stucked?
the red triangle means that you don't have recovery installed
give bootloader details(unlocked or locked,S-ON or S-OFF etc)
also try to boot your device from the bootloader

yes i meant that
but actually there is nothing you can do without losing all your data,backups etc
do factory reset or
if you have patience wait someone else to give you some other solution
but i doubt if there is anything to do without losing all your stuff

Ok guys, im kind of still fresh to the rooting thing.. I came from an inspire 4g and i successfully rooted and installed cwm on it with no problems (i may have gotten lucky lol). I am using the all in one tool kit to root my one x but im having a problem when i get to the flashing the recovery part. When i watched the video, after checking flash recovery his phone automatically booted into recovery. Well, for some reason i cant manage to get mine to boot into recovery in order to flash superuser. Sorry if i short on the details but any help would be greatly appreciated guys.
also, when i try to boot into the bootloader, the touch lights at the bottom of the phone just flash when holding vol down and the power button.
Try again after sometime ! Do a full wipe and try to flash recovery , or go to stock and flash recovery, switch of the phone and try again
ok i got the recovery flashed and everything seems to be working fine now.. but i cant figure how to get adb to run in a command prompt to flash a rom lol

I have a htc sensation. 2 days ago i had 4ext recovery with vipers 5 rom. I worked without any problems. Than i thought i try out the cm12 rom by ivanich. i saw it needed twrp. I downloaded it and flashed it with flashify. The phone restarted without problems. Than i put the rom and gapps on the sd card, and wiped/flashed it. When i flashed the gapps there was some error. I did a reboot, but the phone doesnt pass the HTC logo. When the htc logo appears it stay on that screen for about 10 secs, than the phone shutdowns and restarts itself and do it again..
When i longpress the volume down and power button, it says it's unlocked, Pyramid pvt ship S-ON rl, hboot-1.27.0000, emmc-boot, jan 13 2012, 17:33:34.
how can i fix it ?

Hello,
Did you verify the md5sum of the ROM you flash?
If this is not correct, then you formate your partitions, full wipe and reflash
and where do i find the md5sum of the rom ( cm11,12 ivanich ) and how i check it? Cause i used to check it with and application from the market. But now that my phone doesnt boot up how can i check it?

since you are on S-ON probably you need to flash the boot.img via fastboot
I flashed the rom+gapps succsesfully, but still doesnt boot up. Does the same. HTc logo and restarts..
How do i flash boot.img via fastboot.? I have windows 8.1.
I followed THIS, but the htc sync download link is not working so i downloaded it from HERE
But when i connect my device, it doesnt the windows doesnt recognize it

there are threads how to make fastboot works on win8.1
search there are many of them
how to flash boot.img :
extract the boot.img from the rom.zip and place it in the folder where you have adb and fastboot installed on your pc
in that folder open a command window and type fastboot flash boot boot.img
remember your device must be on bootloader and select fastboot (your screen should say fastboot usb)

I used a friends laptop with windows 7.
Hello , i rooted my htc on sv a while ago , it went okay. Used the phone for a while then i got it cluttered with apps so i went to reset it. So once i did that I boot it up and nothing happens , so i take battery out and put it back in and boot up normaly . I start configuring my phone and it freezes and then boots off .
So i turn it back on and its stuck on HTC quietly Brilliant screen. I tried to get into the recovery and I cant . stuck on recovery booting screen ( I use CWM)
It always said **TAMPERED** and **UNLOCKED** and now only says **UNLOCKED** no idea why.
I have been trying to reboot the phone and no luck , now when i pick to enter recovery nothing happenes at all .
I cant get into the phone or recovery.
If i leave it booting up for a while it will restart and enter hboot .
Im S-On , hboot 2.21.000 , K2_UL PVT

Bootloader: Unlocked via htcdev.com
I try to put the Lineage OS on my Sensation XE. To do that, i want to use the 4ext recovery.
I followed the steps, written in this thread:

But i'm stuck at the point, when i have to boot into recovery from Bootloader.
I succesfully flashed the 4ext recovery 1.0.0.6 to my phone via fastboot.
But when i start the recovery mode, my phone stuck at the HTC Logo screen. Not matter how long i wait, nothing happen.
I can boot normaly into my standart OS (Android 4)

Ok, got it now.
I don't know what i did exactly, maybe cause i flashed 3 - 4 times in a row.
