[Q] NV data non consistant - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

I unlocked my i9003 (used one, bought couple of month ago) with GalaxsimUnlock. The process worked fine, and the phone too but i receive this message "take care, NV data non consistant, did you used a nv_core patch ? The risk to loose your IMEI is important. Please make an EFS backup"
So confused by this message I hesitate to upgrade to anu custom rom. An idea about the risk and a the solution to nv non consistant ?

[Q] Samsung GT-I9300 Not registered on network.

I am having issues with my phone not registering on local China Unicom network. First I updated my firmware to Android 4.3 UK version and I think this is what messed up my modem. I downgraded back to 4.1.2 and lost my IMEI. I then fixed my phone for $50 but I don't know how exactly the guy did. I upgraded again to 4.3 and lost my network again. I do not want to pay $50 again. This time I made a backup of my efs and restored my IMEI but I still cannot get to register on network. I have tried so many solutions but none seem to work. Just to avoid repetition I have updated my modem, installed modem files recovery ([DDEMG2 and XXDME4]), tried other custom ROMS and official firmwares but I keep getting the same error. I dont know how this Chinese guy fixed my phone but he rooted it and when I inserted the sim card it asked for network unlock code. I am writing this as it might be that my phone is set to locked version. I have also realized this has caused an issue with my cwm recovery which says E: signature verification failed. i am able to fix this by re-installing version 6.0.4.3 which then automatically updates or downgrades(I don't know) and brings back the signature error. I have my IMEI, anyone please help me with this.

[Help] Restored a EFS from one S7e to a doffernt one - now don't have an IMEI.

Hey all,
I had an S7 edge (G935F) since launch. I took a full backup of it with TWRP (EFS included) then had it replaced with an identical phone (G935F). I stupidly restored the backup including the EFS from the first phone. This is now causing my new phone to not register on my mobile network, and to say "unknown" for IMEI and bootloader.
I do know what the IMEI is supposed to be for this new phone, but I don't know of any way to set it. I also never took a backup of the new phone so I have no way of recovering its EFS.
Any help appreciated.

Note n8000-restore my imei number-no call service

Good morning everyone..
I have a note 10.1 n8000... it was rooted with cm12.1 and everything works fine...after a year i decide to change my rom to stock...so i flashed the official stock rom over odin.everything works fine except the service...i dont have signal on my tablet.i am serching for about 3 days and i found that is an imei problem...my imei changed to 004999010640000/01 which is a generic imei as i read...i tried some possible fixes but nothing changed... how can i solve my problem? How can i restore my imei back to normal??i called samsung service and they told me that i need a new motherboard to fix the problem.i dont think so...
My tablet isnt rooted right now... i need a non rooted solution first but if it isnt possible i will root my tablet again..
Thanks for your time...
Restore your backed up EFS folder see multiple identical posts ( failed to backup
take it to a service centre for a fix).
I don't have the efs backup... is it possible if I root my device? I saw many videos that change imei if the device is rooted.. even apps on google play store.. can these apps make it work?
Maybe another way with rooting?
No point rooting it cannot help.Service centre next step.

[Completed] Help!! Galaxy J100H not registered on network.

Greetings, sharing here my particular problem from top to bottom just to take advice in general.
First of all, I live in Cuba, so my one and only network is Cubacel which runs GSM 900 mhz, so far so good with most phones.
I am between phones so I boorrowed this used J100h from a friend, which received it as a gift and has never been used. I performed a hard reset to wipe password, data, etc. Phone boots ok but no calls with cuban SIM.
The curious thing is that it does recognizes Cubacel network, it evens shows the changes on signal intensity. Bu when I try to manually add it, it finds and displays the network by its name, but reports an error when trying to register.
After 3 days of internet search I´ve narrowed to the following: I suspect the phone was unlocked or flashed previously, there is no network promo when turning on the phone but there is chinese rooting software installed and the cell is, or seems via root checker, rooted. Thought an extra /01 after the IMEI was a sign of corruption until I leraned about IMEI SV. Anyway, following this thought installed busybox and root explorer, checked efs folder, finding subfolders such as imei, factory app, etc, BUT NO .NV file. inside imei folder ther is a imeino1 file with the correct imei, but no .nv file outside. Is this fixable?? GSII repair doesnt work because seems theres is an error with the busy box install, what gives me doubts if the phone is really rooted, and if i need to be online to install busybox properly.
So, If I decide to try and flash stock rom and see if this fixes the problem here is my main doubt, which may seem obvious for some but i simply can figure out. Which stock rom version do I choose? the product code of the cell is ITV, and the bootloader also points to the italian version but the currently installed rom ends in AOG2, seemingly a greek version. I live in Cuba and everywhere I look people say that since the telephone is sim free you can install any rom, but the is no "any" or standard rom either in samsung firware o sammobile. Do I flash the same rom? do I flash the one matching the bootloader? Which stock rom version should I choose?
Very much appreciated if you have gone so far in this reading and have some piece of advice. Also excuse terrible English.
Hi !
I see plenty of firmwares on samsung website so pick one and see how it works , it doesn`t matter the region , you won`t damage anything , maybe the modifications that has been made on the device borked the network , clean stock firmware flash may resurrect it and try the one which matches the bootloader

Good luck !

Can I temporarily duplicate IMEI from one phone then edit second phone's IMEI back?

So I have 2 phones (both S7e), but one lost its IMEI / having "can't mount /efs" problem. This phone unluckily doesn't have a back up of its own EFS / IMEI digitally, but it still has the phone sticker that has its associated IMEI. Now, my plan was to TWRP restore a backup from the working phone to the unusable one so that I can fix the EFS problem and right after, "edit" the IMEI number to what it's supposed to according to the sticker left on the phone.
My questions are:
1) is this possible?
2) if so, can someone help me find out the proper steps/tools to help me change the IMEI on the 2nd phone with the temporarily duplicated IMEI
3) any tips on making sure I don't have both phones running and get blacklisted for having 2 phones with the same IMEI on i was thinking just to leave both phones on airplane mode or at the very least, turn off the first phone until I get the second phone working
