Thanks for providing the link....I was looking for such type of application...to help me keep back-up on my PC too.

For Windows Mobile there is an app (and service) called MyPhone. It allows you to backup everything on your phone: SMS, (non SIM) Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Music, Documents etc.
Which is great for:
1. Always have a full backup of your phone
2. Quickly upload something to your computer/the internet.
3. Remote wiping your phone.
Mostly the first one is important to me. I wouldn't mind if my phone splattered on the floor and died. But the stuff on it are quite important.
Backup works well for data and apps. Calendar and contacts automatically backup to your gmail acccount. Myphone is pretty half baked considering most of the Android options.

Have a look at miqlive dot com
"m:IQ takes the content on your phone and automatically pushes it to a private account on the web. From that point on, what you do on the phone will instantly update on the web and what you do on the web will instantly update on your phone – without you having to ever think about it."
Hello,
I'm happy to finally have true Android phone in my hands. HTC Desire. It's so amazing, those possibilities are so large and the quality is great.
Previously I was using Nokia e50 - symbian based phone. I want to move all my contacts, all my messages (2k), notes, calendar notes and reminds, photos and videos. Is it possible to synchronise in one or another way those two phones?
It may sound convoluted and there may be better ways that i'm not thinking of but.... i would set up your Google account on your PC and move everything you can from your Symbian to the 'cloud'. Contacts can be added through Gmail, Calender entries moved accross to the online Google Calender, pics uploaded to Picasa...so on and so forth. You can 'Favourite' your Youtube vids from your PC and access them from your phone.
A lot of this may have to be done manually but worth it in the end. Once it's done just sign-in to your Google account on the Desire and everything will sync from Cloud to phone. You may have to find an app to transfer your Browser bookmarks, although the Chrome To Phone extension could help make the task easier. Once you've added them once onto the phone they'll be synced and backed up to your Google account.
Endless possibilities, especially once you've discovered how the App Market gives you access to everything you might ever need. Then there's the fun part, rooting and customizing your phone.
Btw, Video, and possibly Notes, can go to Google Docs although moving messages will probably need an app. From the Market..
Symbian is sucks ;-)

Okay, thank you! I'm done with contacts, it works fine now, they are succesfully moved from Symbian to Android. But how to move sms?
http://www.simail.si/nokia2androidsms/
the best way for sms! (I have tried many ways...)
I am looking for a way for notes and agenda now..
Anyone know how to syncronize the agenda birthdays from symbian (Nokia N79) to Android?
Hi,
Microsoft's myphone service was discontinued at the start of the month, replaced by skydrive. Windows phone 7/7.5 will be able to sync with this but AFAIK other windows phone 6.x has been left out of the game.
I used to use myphone a lot to backup everything, ever since I had a little incident, trying to sync to a new PC with active sync, deleted an old pairing and lost most of my contacts.
Is there anyway to get WinMo 6.x to play with any of the new microsoft services, or should I be moving to some 3rd party app now?
Be interested to get everyone's feedback.
Cheers
try PIM Backup.

It's not a cloud service but a simple backup program.
You can save to your phone, your sd card or even copy the backup file to a pc or usb stick. Should be as save as the myphone service then ;-)

is cloud based, free and has a few other useful bits

hi,guys!
today i wanna recommend a new PC suite for you guys~ It is a very excellent PC suite for me I've profited from MoboPlay in some great features and i will put emphasis up on those.
:good:
MoboPlay
MoboPlay is a free Android PC suite to backup & restore Android data. You can easily backup and restore your phone’s data like contacts, messages, call logs, images, apps, and music.
The fullscreen view of the device can help you take better screenshots using the built-in screenshot feature. It also helps you transfer media files like photos and music from your phone to PC and vice versa.
You can explore and install tons of apps and games directly to your Android device. If you wish to clear up your storage, then use the “Space Cleaner” to remove all the junk files and free up storage.
THE FEATURES i like as follows:↓↓↓↓
• PC-based smart phone management tool
•TOTALLY FREE!
•Manage your phone via your PC
•MASSIVE apps and other resourses
• Local HIGHSPEED download server
•Andorid/iOS both SUPPORTED
:highfive: Now let me show you the important features of MoboPlay and how you can use them for your Android device.
→"if i want to Backup and Restore Data of my Android Phone"
:victory:click the “ToolBox” tab to browse various options including backup and restore. You may find “Backup” option in the toolbox to select items or data of your Android phone which you want to backup.
It allows you to backup contacts, messages, call logs, images, apps, and music.
→" if i wanna Take Screenshots of Android Phone from PC""
MoboPlay makes taking screenshots of your Android phone from PC much easier. You can either select the “Device” tab to take screenshots or you can use the fullscreen feature to take better screenshots.
→“if i want to Transfer Media from Android to PC and PC to Android"
Moboplay also allows you to transfer media like photos, music, and videos from Android to PC and PC to Android. Go to the “Device” tab and you will see a “Media” section on the left with folders like Camera Images, Albums, Wallpapers, Music, and Videos.Browse any of the folders to transfer media from your Android phone to PC.
→"if i wanna Manage Contacts and Messages of Android from PC"
Just find the “Device” tab and you will be able to see the Contacts and Messages section.
You can add new contacts, import and export contacts as VCF files, delete contacts, edit contact information, and send SMS directly from your PC to any of the contacts.
→"if i wanna Clean Junk Files in my phone"
You may use MoboPlay to remove the junk files and free up your phone's storage. Go to the “ToolBox” tab and select the option “Space Cleaner”. As soon as you do that, a popup window will appear with two tabs named, APK Files Cleanup and Large Files Cleanup.

I found an app called wazzapmigrator its paid but I'll update with the results.
Cuz it will be impossible and so inefficient with copying the messages and photos manually.

Firstly, I don't have What up installed on my device, however I have set up, What's up (Android device) quite a few times for other people.
I told them to backup all, videos etc.( whatever).......
Look in the What's up app settings,( it should be the same as Android.?)
Make sure you do a full Backup to Whatsapp.
After doing a backup.
All you have to do is on new device when setting What's up ... up
for first use it, should recognize the cell phone number and you can do a WhatsApp restore.
I know that it restored all their data.id's etc etc.
You can ask any other members to confirm this.!
Good luck.

Hey, thanks for your reply.
As a reply to your message, unfortunately, as can be seen on the official whatsapp faq in their website, there's no way to transfer datas (including both messages and media) because they use two different cloud storage formats I believe. You can't do it via manual backup or itunes backup cuz they're encrypted differently.
However as I mentioned in my message above, the app called wazzapmigrator did it completely perfect. No message loss, photo or video loss, I've got almost 10000 types of media including gifs, photos, videos, links, when transferring, about 100 was failed which is like %1 and its nothing when you compare with the big picture. I checked the recent messages and the recent photos, everything was there. No problem with gallery, no problem at all. I'm so happy and its worth every penny actually
Well Recently I bought new phone for my mom and I have no idea how to migrate whatsapp data so i google and found application MobileTrabs after using I've migrate data .
