I would direct you attention to the cmb roms for your tf700t, We help out with all we can !!!!!!!
I would direct your attention to the CROMi-X rom for this tablet. It's the most popular and best supported IMHO.
As to the question of how long you should wait to unlock: Two days should convince you that the TF700 sucks on the stock rom.
Whereas this tablet rocks on CROMi-X!

I am Looking at both the asus transformer and acer iconia tab i have no idea which to get i wont be doing anything modding wise as this is going to be a gift...
I'm looking for build quality and speed and most importantly responsiveness.
If this is in the wrong section you can move i have no idea where to put this...
Can anyone please help?
I in all honesty say that you should get the Asus transformer because it has official honeycomb 3.1 which has ultrafast responsiveness. The support for that device is much higher due to the keyboard dock.
Ps. I have an Asus Transformer and have xperimented with it. Brilliant device.

Just my opinion, but I find the Asus just seems to be built better in terms of quality.

Hey Guys, I don't know if I posted this in the right place
I just want to ask you all,
Should I buy the Asus Transformer Ft101 or wait for the prime to drop its price !
I don't have any tablet but I have experience with android .
Is the only difference between those two the tegra 2 vs 3 processor ?
Is ICS coming soon to this tablet ?
Thank you all for the advice . And sorry admins if I put this thread in the wrong section ;-)
Ics is supposed to be out this month for tf101. Prime and its dock r both slimmer which means u lose one usb port. Some have reported wify issues with the prime. I have a tf101 and its great, no issues here.

Avoid the Prime, it has too many problems. (No GPS, Wifi and Bluetooth issues, only mono audio, etc.)
The TF101 is a much better deal, so long as you're willing to wait a while for ICS to come out.
So many "should I buy a TF101" threads. None of them in the Q&A forum either. hmmmm
I guess you should figure it out your self i mean
do you like playing games and stuff
or just browsing the web?
I would buy the TF101... Not really impressed by the Prime, and the Tegra3 SoC seem to be a benefit only to graphic demanding apps (or games ). I would be better to pack some more RAM on it... (IMO: I don't care to see true 1080p HD movies on a 10 inch screen... for that i have a 32 inch TV, and for videogames... not until they all have some sort of game pad support, like GTA3. So the Tegra2 SoC does the job i need more than fine).
For the price and the bugs the Prime is experiencing i would buy today a TF101 if i didn't add one already .
Hey guys, thanks for the advice, I just bought an FT101 with the dock . And as you can see I also bought my first App = XDA Premium :-D Love this app ;-) also I had installed the Revolution HD Rom . I want to use it as my main "Netbook" . Till this oment I had just 2 crashes with this ROM ;-) .......

I am thinking about buying a ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF201 32GB. My questions are is it a good one to buy and two I don't see much so far as support for custom roms and such. Currently I have a D2G with MIUI build. I was wondering if there was any good roms for the TF201 if I do decide to get it.
You shouldve posted this in the Prime forums. This is the TF101 forum
This is the tf101 form
201 is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1411
and they have plenty of support and about 10 custom roms as of now

Hi everyone!
I just bought an Asus Transformer TF300T here in Shanghai, just to find myself stuck with an extremely limited android experience. I have android on my phone (a Sony "Ericsson" Xperia mini 18 months old) but on the chinese one I cannot sync anything and basically cannot even use gmail, or google play, or maps..
Can somebody help me fix this pretty huge issue? I'm fairly new to any android mods, I never really did much on my phone..
Thanks a lot!!

Keep searching. I'm from the us so I don't havle experience, but I do remember reading a similar story someone else put about flashing the we firmware on a Chinese tablet. It was a tf300t it was done on. I would imagine you would have to unlock the bootloader and flash the ROM but shouldn't be hard.

Hey I'm part of the team working on Leo's Fortune. The Asus TF101 isn't a supported device, even if you didn't pirate the game
We had some compatibility issues and it doesn't quite meet the minimum hardware requirements to run the game. Hopefully you have a change of heart and will be able to experience Leo on another device in the future!
Hi, thanks for your reply. I guess I'll have to play it on the wife's tablet (a samsung)...... Not ready to give up on my transformer yet. P. S - i bought the game and installed it on my wife's device and then tried the apk way

I purchased it through the current Humble Mobile Bundle 9 which provides me with a DRM-free apk of the game. Just pointing out that just because someone has an apk of the game doesn't mean they pirated it. :good:
Didn't try installing it on my TF101, just stumbled across this post while seeing what, if much, my old TF101 is still capable of.
**** Before anyone PM's me asking, NO, I will not share it.
Get a log cat file. Check if they use native code, if so, it's probably neon support problems.
