Hello all,
I've compiled SVN 1.8.5-serf-1.3.2-openssl-1.0.1e for ARM.
Old builds
SVN 1.8.3
The older build by bfosterjr can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2408116
Subversion 1.8.5 posted, see updated first post.
(I've released it, but I'm still testing it now, might have bugs.)

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to build the XDA utils tree and itsutils.dll from source in order to play around with it a bit, but have had no luck so far. I've searched through all the forums, but couldn't find anything about building the toolset, only how to develop for actual mobile devices.
I got the source tree for the xda utils project, but the instructions on how to build them (here) are not very clear. What software do I need to have installed? Which libraries? Do I need to install an embedded version of the STL? Where can I find the "preview editions" of Platform Builder 3.0 and 4.0 in order to get the header files?
I'm running Windows XP 32-bit (I also have a 64-bit machine, though I doubt that'll make it any easier), and have installed VS 2005, the Windows Mobile 6 SDK, and eMbedded VC 4.0.
I'd really appreciate any advice or help.
Thanks in advance,
Rob

Three files, use the hjsplit to recombine them.
The image will work in VB and VMWare without issues.
How do 3 files under 1mb each contain even a part of ubuntu?
It's 1 GB not MB

My bad, I think the ftp went down RIGHT when I tried to download, so I only got the first bit of each file. My apologies
Hi all,
After a week's fight, I've managed to compile dynamically linked strace 4.6 binary (not the latest which is 4.8) using the NDK r8c. This is for people who don't want a static compiled binary or are uncomfortable with static binaries compiled with codesourcery toolchains.
There are 3 binaries, one per api level (android-8 -> 2.2 , android-9 -> 2.3, android-14 -> 4.0 ), so please download appropriately.
The source used was https://android.googlesource.com/platform/external/strace/ (Branch:master, checkout date: 2013-06-14). Modifications performed are attached alongside as strace-4.6_ndk.diff.gz
Hope this helps someone other than me as well
One of the things that we do at Linaro is testing Linux Kernels to look for kernel regressions. Ideally we want a world where those that make use of Long Term Support Kernels (LTS) are able to depend on and trust the stream of fixes that are being provided such that they end up on devices.
Mobile phone companies, Linux Distros, embedded Linux deployments, etc all generally like the idea of installing one major version of Linux (e.g. 4.9) and sticking with it for the lifetime of their product.
This, and following stories tell how week to week testing of Linux kernels is going, what we’ve found, or better, not found as the kernel versions tick by.
We test using two host user spaces, open embedded and Android.

Android 9/P + automerged latest version of LTS 4.4, 4.9, 4.14, 4.19 + HiKey + Latest LTP
This new combination is a work in progress to pull in latest LTP from AOSP-master, as well as using the combination of Android Common + HiKey Linaro (auto merged). It triggers automatically when Android Common is updated right after a new LTS release is merged. This combo thus gives everyone great visibility to test results nearly immediately after an new LTS is available.
We have initial data but are not sharing them as part of this report yet.
AOSP-master tracking with 4.4, 4.9, 4.14, 4.19 on HiKey
These builds are being reworked / repackaged so we’ll have data to report next week.

Hello!
This is my first post, so sorry if I do something wrong. Recently I've found a github repository, containing the final snapshot for the Symbian repositories. I was able to download them, however, I can't find information if the build system for the codebase is still available somewhere or not. If possible, I'd like to build this codebase for fun (includes kernel, system services, etc) anyone knows anything about the build tools used to build Symbian itself?
Link for the repos:

Thank you in advance!
