Disable fast dormancy through script on boot? - Optimus One, P500, V Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello there guys! I searched the forum to see if there is a script to disable fast dormancy on boot but without any luck.. There is nothing saying if it is possible with a script, only by inserting the code 3845#*500# but it is a buggy process..

Init.d support

When a dev says their kernel has init.d support, what exactly does that mean? I've been told if the kernel doesn't support it you can load the script in script manager and tell it to run as root and run at boot.

Yes I know what it is but when they say, init.d support what does that mean, support. If they don't support init.d can't I still put a script there tell it to run at boot. So if they don't support it would doing that not work?

With init.d support, you don't have to make Script Manager manually start all scripts on startup. Script Manager takes the place of init.d for those that don't support it, but that's still another program running in the background.

Does script manager have to stay running after it has executed the scripts?

Not quite sure. I know if you set it to run at boot, there will be a message at startup saying "script manager has been granted superuser permissions".

No. It actually ends the process on its own afterward.

In my experience loopy smoothness needs to be run at boot while v6 supercharger does not. It doesn't seem to take hold otherwise. I could of course be wrong.

You can use a tweak to overcome your problem.
DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
As you have your phone rooted, go to /system/build.prop and edit it with a text editor (You can use Root Manager for this process) and add this line at the bottom of the page
"ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1" (without quotes)
After adding this line carefully reboot your phone and clear memory with your phone's task manager and you can observe a much of ram left.
CAUTION: DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR PHONE.

If you have fast sdcard or internal card you can SWAP. search it. it's basically partitioning your sdcard to be a part of the RAM

If there is a shortage of ram, I don't think locking the launcher in memory will help.

But what i think is that with this tweak all the unwanted background apps get cleared off leaving a wide range of ram to use.

Try marking "grant" in default access option and see if it helps.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
I tried that but it didnt work... i thought the root might have been taken away by some app so i tried rerooting it but it got stuck on Starting ADB Server, then i thought, maybe i can unroot it, so i downloaded a root uninstaller but it needed root access which it cant verify

Friend
Try to enhance ur phone performance by installing v6 super charger....it speeds up your ram and phone.......
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
RAM-expander allows you to make extra ram available, as a swapfile on your sd card.
You need a fast card for this, but the dev has a utility you can run first to check compatibility.
Also look at auto memory killer, which is not a task killer rather it manages the minfrees, so your can keep as much memory free as possible

I believe it has some thing to do with the multiple user option, it doesn't show up in tasker error log just the toast notification. [Q] LG Optimus 3D Bluetooth and TTS not working

Hello. As first I want to say I am not any genius in phone Roms and things so I will write down every info because I dont know which is important and which is not..I am Using LG P920 with android 2.3.5 Kernel version 2.6.35.7+ and Build Number NovAndroid 2.1.5 . and softwer version V21E-27-09-12 . I didnt wrote down baseband because it probably doesnt have anything to do with that. The problem is whenever I am trying to turn Bluetooth on It Doesnt work.. I get in the bluetooth settings and tap the bluetooth on/off but nothing happens. Another Problem is when I try to get in TTS options , I get force close everytime. And last problem which I didnt mention in Title because it would be too long is that when Im Trying to turn on Wi-Fi my Phone Reboots. I can turn it on first time after reboot but when I turn it off and then on my phone reboots.
I have the same problem with BT, seems hw problem for me. But you can try to rewrite you bt and wifi address, use guide for recovering imei but commands are at%mac for wifi and at%btad for BT.

Sorry I didn't understand the last sentence you wrote.
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
There is guide for recovering lost imei, use that guide but instead of using at%imei command, use at%mac for wifi and at%btad for BT. Maybe you have macs broken with those command you can write them again.

Thanks for helping me but I dont have idea how to do these things
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
