[Q] how to install micro sd card for lg optimus one

Hi,
I have bought a new sandisk micro sd card (16GB). Could you please tell me how to install it.
I guess it is not as straight forward as copying the files from the old sd card into the new one, as apps are installed in the old one.. My old sd card is the stock card which I got with the phone.
Also could you please direct me how to upgrade my OS. I am still on android 2.2. I tried following the directions given in the LG homepage but the update software just does no install on my laptop (Windows 7). Also PC suite also does not work properly on Windows 7 and I am not even being able to take backup. Please help.

installing SD card is as easy as copying all folders. don't miss the '.android secure 'folder. that one contains ur apps moved to sd
Download stock rom labeled v20g. use kdz to flash it. u ll find the tutorial in this forum

Hi Souron,
Thanks for the answer. My phone is not rooted and I don't want to do that presently. So simply copying all the files (inlcuding .android) into the new sd card will work?

Yeah it will work for sure. using kdz doesn't need root

[Q] partition of sd card

I have a rooted lg p500...and i want to install jelly bean on my phone ...do i have to partition my sd card before installing other Roms ...??please suggest....

I don't think you will lose any clarity on the screen content as the screen contents is not dependent on the ROM, but the screen pixelation. But out of curiosity, why would you want to go back to the stock ROM if you rooted?

Because I can't move apps to external SD card.I have tried binary method and swapping method,both of them didn't work.Please help me...

swap external sd ... as s internal storage.... then u can move apps in sd card easily

How? Tell me the easiest and the best method to swap external SD card with internal SD card..

i often experiencing that at the moment too
think is the sd card going to die soon
i already did all my backup..
after it died then claim for warranty

[Q] How to flash custom ROM without SD Card?

How can I flash custom ROM without using external SD card? My SD card slot is broken, so I have to find other way to reinstall OS :|
I saw topic in Samsung board, but did't help much..

try with adb sideload option for newer rom
