Its that time of the year when the ghouls and goblins come out! So what better then a Halloween Theme.
First off I want to thank @bigpappags3 for making and letting me port this theme for verizon users on MOAR 6.0. Check out the original thread HERE and give propper thaanks. I also want to thank @dazednconfused and all of TeAm VeNuM for their awesome work and just for being a bunch of really cool guys
This theme is meant to take you back to the time when you were a kid and times were fun during Halloween. The old days as some would call it today. I themed the basics here. I used the OPK theme as the base, so there will be some purple going on here. I believe that this should go along pretty good with whatever theme your using because that's what Halloween does...incorporate all kinds of funky stuff.

I want to bring the spirit of Operation Purple Kangaroo to this theme also....So if you have something you want to post by all means post it. Not need to ask. Just Remember that this is for the MOAR 6.0 Rom. Please test ur work first. Personally i dont care about the colors that you use because this is Halloween, but if you need my hex colors they are...ff7200 (orange)...9f9b30(franken green)...a100ff(purple)
Legal Disclosure....I nor anybody that post here is responsible for you bricking your device. If you do not know what your doing and you flash this and the phone grows wings I nor anyone else is responsible for your lack of knowledge and can not and will not be held responsible. Please make a backup before flashing. FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
Directions
Make a nandroid(backup ur shizz)
seeing as this theme,at the time, does not include play store apps only system apps you are fine to flash this over ws v4.2-v5.0. This may change depending on how popular this theme becomes.
You shouldn't have to clear caches, but it doesn't hurt to do so.

As I mentioned in the MOAR thread I appreciate all the hard work on this amazing theme . You got thumbs up from the wife and all 4 of my anklebiters.Only thing it's missing is the clear notification and settings png in the status bar . Not criticizing, just bringing it to your attention.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app

I left that for the user to change since moar allows for any color change on the fly for all of that. I'm glad everyone likes the theme though. At least now you can enjoy it for 2 weeks before the next theme.

I'm having a problem with this theme booting up. Just flashed 6.0, clean flash, (data, cache, davik, system) twice. ROM boots up fine but when I flash this theme it gets stuck on updating apps. Reflashed the theme, cleared cache and davik and still get stuck on updating apps. Anyone else with this problem?

Ok I tried it on moar test 4 clean install. I noticed I got stuck on the aosp lockscreen. I had to go to my back up and I can't try it again tonight due to the fact I need my phone for work. If someone wants to try it again make sure the stock lockscreen is selected before you flash it. I did get past the upgrading part though.

Ok let me try to fix it with test 5 ui settings and framework. I was using stuff from an earlier version and maybe that is what was causing it. MAy be a little bit but i will send you a pm with a link and maybe you can test it out for me.

You should have no problem flashing over the Anaconda theme there may be something that don't change though depending on which theme has more images

Same problem. I flashed the theme over a clean install or moar and it still gets stuck on "starting apps" screen. Have to do a battery pull and goes back to the same screen and freezes.
Update. Just tried flashing again without clearing cache and dalvik and it freezes on the splash screen.

Ok all issues are fixed and op is updated. Enjoy the theme while you still can

Just thought I would note, this theme looks very nice even if you don't use Sense. I use Launcher Pro Plus and still love the transitions and such. Very nice job. Thanks for sharing. Only thing I miss is in the power control in notification bar lost the ability to turn off data.

What ROM are you using? This has been tested on Myn's rom, and Deodexed stock Rom. I would start with a freash flash of your rom and make sure after flashing rom to let it boot up, then reboot into recovery and then flash the theme.

Maybe try a fresh download?
First, I want to thank you for this awesome theme.
Second, I tried this theme with AzraelX and SynergyRom3.2 and it is fully working without issues.
I like this theme and I would love to see if you can integrate a 5-column-drawer mod instead of 4-drawer. other than that I love it.
Your work is much appreciated.

Well i thought bout that...but i downloaded it on my work network which fiber all the way so the download is fine...
I can give it a shot and see though not against it
loving the theme but only thing I kind of dislike is the blue-overkill... I like the variety of colors like when you open menus and drag down the taskbar, but there's just too much blue. I prefer some icons like gmail to stay red and markeplace icon to stay green so it'd be easier to tell which is which..

[PORT][THEME][MOD] EA11/EB16 Midnight - Blue Steel Edition

The original port for midnight was updated (thanks to Bigloof & edint3000 for the awesome work!!!) and since phidelt has been working diligently on other things I thought I'd try to get some of it ported over to EA11. I tweaked some things, check out the menu outlines and custom emotes.
Enjoy =)
Prerequisites:Need to be on 2.2 and a deodexed ROM installed (I.E. Pick and Pack) If you already have a theme on it, you'll be just fine too, keep in mind this will only change what I have listed below, so remnants of your previous theme may remain.
EDIT: ADDED EB16 PORT [PREREQUISITE: PNP EB16]
NOTE: FOR EA11 VERSION As stated by phidelt82 at this point the only function the extra 3 power options perform is reboot, it is being worked on. Also, once you have this installed you will need to go back to pick and pack in order to flash a different theme, currently this is the only one that works with this MOD, I will be working to update others until we get the full MOD
I do have a custom font installed, (bender) eli posted a link to them in the theme's forum. Best to start from Pnp With phidelt82's Midnight Port, to have all of the other blue theme.
List of edits:
MMS
+Framework
Puzzle lock/reboot +power options [MOD] - via phidelt82 and built2rail, thanks guys!

The original themer's were kind enough to change it, I was just kind enough to port it to the mes so we could use it (just want to make sure everyone is clear on that)
Just out of curiosity, is there an easy explanation on how to port a theme from fascinate to mesmerize? Or is it a difficult process?

It's not difficult once you have an understanding of how to use apktool/apkmanager, theme porter and a basic understanding of how to copy and paste xml edits. Unfortunately this isn't really put together, especially specifically for the mes but there are a lot of good guides out there on how to theme. I'd start by going here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932856. It's written for the fascinate and i'ts more of a guide to making a theme but you use the same concepts when porting so it's a good place to start.

Looks good man. I like the little changes you made...with one exception. I really like the notification power control icons on the other midnight theme (phidelt's froyo port). Any chance you can throw up a link with those still in the theme? I know I'm picky You are doing an awesome job pumping these out, keep up the good work!

I'm not quite done with all the changes that I want to make (like I stated before I'd like to get the market themed, and maybe a few other apps) But if you'd like to have what I have so far, I've had no issues using it;
It's best to be on phidelt's Midnight port first prior to flashing this, because it only changes framework (data/service icons etc.) and the MMS app.

I have never flashed a theme before so could somebody give me a little extra guidance? I am just on the plain Froyo + root rom, I have done no other mods or anything else. So I understand putting the file on the SD card but what is the Dalvik Cache and how do I install the zip? Also this won't set my phone back to default or anything will it? As in all my applications will be safe or do I have to back them all up again?

Well first off, I'll revert you to my newbie guide - don't take offense i've just taken alot of time answering the questions you've just asked.
Basically what you need to do next is get yourself the CWM recovery that works with 2.2, basically this is going to be how you will flash any rom/theme/kernel you would like at any point. There is a link there in the guide.
From there you need to get yourself on the pick and pack rom. What this means is you will have your system/app applications replaced with ones that can be themed, he has also slimmed the package but provided an addon zip where you can add on the extra stock applications you may want to keep. This by no means is a reset, and if you use titanium backup you can always restore apps that way so that your data carries over.
After that, you would be good to apply any theme you would like, and to answer your question you would go about this by using the new recovery you just installed (you get into this recovery by using the three button method, or using the application quickboot which is much easier, this is all detailed in the guide but I thought I would give you a synopsis).

Micromod ... love the theme but, I found a couple of items using it on Wildstang's Official Inc OTA 4.08.605.2.
The theme seemed to install correctly with the exception of the Bayttery indicator. It still shows the default indicator in green and not the circle one in your screen shot.
The only other thing is the Icecream Sandwich 4.0 keyboard FC's when it is selected.
This was on a clean installation of the ROM.
Thanks

Try rebooting and flashing again. Don't flash after installing new ROM of Stangs. I'll test further. Can't so far reproduce error untill I do clean wipe and install Stang's ROM which I don't know when I will be able to do soon. This is just a theme so it only replaces system app files and framework files.
Works perfect with new stock plus. Nice work , its one of the best themes/skins I have seen.

What did you mean by "Don't flash after installing new ROM of Stangs"? I am running the latest OTA ROM from Stang.

I've seen it happen sometimes that you need to flash a new ROM, let it boot, then reboot into recovery and flash a theme. But if its still not working, maybe your .zip got corrupted. Try re-downloading theme and flash again.
I am having the same problem as apsawyer65. Everything looks great except the battery symbol is still regular and green. Running fresh Wildstang's, booted up before installing the theme. Tried to patch the symbol with "Honeycomb Percentage Battery Mod" and that resulted in not ever getting past the initial HTC screen. Back to the stock Wildstang's release for now.

I flashed the latest ClockworkMod 5.0.2.0 before doing anything. I can try it again but I am pretty sure I did everything by the books. Wiped EVERYTHING multiple times, installed fresh WildStang's, booted and confirmed success before flashing anything else. I did also flash the zoomyMod and the newer kernel before flashing the theme, maybe there is an issue there. I can try to redo it without any other mods.

Tried it again without the mods and it works great, looks great, thanks. Seems to have an auto brightness adjuster as well. Maybe just a conflict with zoomyMod?

If you flash zoomyMod after flashing my theme you'll loose the battery. But I think I did use zoomyMod's framework-res.apk to make my theme. I know I was experimenting with it but can't remember 100% if I used it or not. I lost track when I was testing it!
The light levels were a little too high still when I tested zoomymod. I know how to tweek the values and can probably make the autobrightness lower in a dark room for zoomymod. I use a brightness widget (Brightness Level by Curvefish) that for me works very good to adjust brightness levels in a dark room.
Tried flashing this to two different roms, twice each, and all went well, except I didn't have a status bar on any of the attempts. Wiped cache, delvick, flashed. Tried on Gingerstock and on McSense 2.5.
Did u flash a mod afterwards? That might undo status theme

I did not. Came up without status bar right off boot.

I did get it to work last night after doing a fresh install of Gingerstock. Everything looks great so far with the exception of the download bar in the market. It is placed on top of the progress % area. Other than that you have done an outstanding job.

Thanks man.
Long time lurker. This is my first post. I'm still kinda new at rooting but I read and study this site extensively and haven't had any problems flashing anything. This theme installed smoothly and everything works fine without glitches. I really like the look and the quick settings in the drop down.
My only issue is, ever since I installed this theme my phone became noticeably slowed and laggy and battery life seems to be worse. Is there a recommended kernel to use with this theme or should I wipe and reflash? I'm using this theme with Stang's ROM and kernel. Thanks in advance and thanks to the dev for developing this nice theme.

Thank You... after the holiday I could make an update for you and change the 2 items you want.
? on the dialer. do you want the whole dialer transparent or just the upper background. Let me know..
I added a link to the transparent Dialer for you. When I have time I will add the Trans contacts.
This makes me want to switch from Octaine to Vahalla. Nice work!
Damn I like THIS IS IT FOOr VAHALLA FINAL..

Just curious but what is vahalla kj6? I've read so much about this ****.. I believe from what I just read my version is k13.... Anyway is this version compatible.. As well as the Valhalla black..

No. Look for the valhalla final thread on the dev section

Yes this will work on the valhalla black version. KJ6 is the new gingerbread kernel.
Edit: Just flashed it on valhalla black version to make sure and it works fine...
Should work on any of the new KJ builds.... I will try to check them all tomorrow and verify...

this may be a dumb question but i downloaded both this .zip and the valhalla final .zip and replaced the files that were in the system file of the theme's .zip and (the themed apps, etc.) so should i be ok to just flash the new combined .zip without getting bootloops?

Hey Racing -- thanks for the transparent dialer! If and when transparent Contacts become available, let me know. Again, great job!
-J
P.S.: I have one more small request -- in the notification screen (when you swipe down on the top bar), the label 'Galaxy S 4G' is sometimes obstructed by the 'Clear' button. My suggestion would be to just remove that label altogether, as I know what phone model I am holding in my hands

Hello,
Are you running a custom rom? If yes, reboot into CWM and choose backup and restore. Then choose backup. If on a stock rom I dont believe there is a way other than using titanium backup to save your apps. hope this helps.
Yeah I'm running Valhalla final but I'm kinda wanting to check out another ROM another thing the directions to doing a total wipe and starting over were would that be? I've rooted and installed this great ROM without ****ing my phone up yet.. I'm not a tech guru I'm a nurse.. I'm afraid if my phone was gonna get into a boot loop I would be screwed cause I wouldn't know what to do.. Thanks man..

I've got the free titanium backup do I need the paid version? And one more thing I tried the adrenalin shot and after I applied that my phone only charges to 99 I've got to power it back up to get to a 100 it's kinda strange.. I'm not gonna mess with the battery stuff cause I'm not ready for All that yet

The free version of TB works fine, but doesn't let you encrypt backups.
The 99% issue might be an issue with your battery itself.

However, restoring a backup that was taken with the 3.x version of CWM doesn't work -- it's broken on all GB kernels from bhundven (pre-Beta3) and drhonk. You have to use bhundven's Beta3 kernel for that.

This is my third theme for the GS3. This was tested and based on CleanROM 2.5. If you try it on any other ROM based on the G7 modems, let me know. If you do try it and it borks your phone, though, I'm not responsible. And in general, I'm not responsible for anything that you do to your device. The app icons that you see are from a paid Apex theme in the PlayStore. Just search for Black Go Apex Theme Pro. I'll be making some of my own eventually.
Please do not use any of my work included in this theme without permission first. This stuff takes time, and I would be happy to help you if you just ask first.
Works On:
CleanROM 2.5
What's Themed:
SystemUI.apk
framework-res.apk
SecSettings.apk
lidroid-res.apk
To Be Done:
Tons of more images that I want to change in framework and systemui as this is just the first release.
Various other apks
All I ask is for thanks if you like my themes. If you want to donate to me, save your money and donate to Scott, thisiskindacrap, who MIKE D, or rcw95 on my behalf. That's where I'd use the money anyway for all of the help they give me.
Changelog:

Your Blue Steel theme was my absolutely favorite on the Rezound. In fact, I turned on my Rezound today (to wipe so I can sell it), and remembered just how much I loved your Blue Steel theme. Soooo glad it's on the GS3 now!
It looks fantastic in the pictures, but there's something that brings it alive once you see it on the phone. Gorgeous!
Dang dude, all of your themes are awesome. This is by far my favorite however.

I'm working on it. There's multiple issues with the theme overall that's ticking me off. I'll figure it out. I might see if I can make it an aroma installed theme to get it to work correctly.

I sent you a PM on fixing the battery icon issue, let me know if you didnt get it, it acted funny when I sent the pm so not sure if it went through.
Updated theme is up in post 2. Includes the battery again. THANK YOU, rcw95 for helping me fix that crap. Stupid/tired error/computer hates me.
Also, there is an odex version and a deodex version. Try the odex version first. If that doesn't work, then try the deodex version. Make sure you have a back up before you do either so you have something to fall back on. If they don't work, I'll fix it eventually when I can figure out why it's not working correctly.

Ok, new release is up. This one was completely rebuilt by thisiskindacrap in order to fix the crashing issues. This should be good now. If it's not, I'll keep trying. Make sure you have a backup before you flash. If you ever wanted to donate to me for any of my themes, make sure you donate to thisiskindacrap or rcw95 first. Those guys have helped me a bunch. Please let me know if this new release fixes the issues that some were having.
Just a report. And am really sorry but not working. Maybe I'm out of luck. But thanks for your hard work bro.
