It crashes at start on Note 8 wi-fi only under stock 4.1.2.

OP already stated its a 4.2+ only app.... of course it will crash on 4.1.2.... -_-

Windows 8.1 on current Xperia devices!!!

Sony has announced something very "one of its type " thing , it is planning to provide an optional Windows 8.1 update for current Xperia devices which are running Android.
But Sony Xperia L might still be in question.

Xperia L won't get Kitkat

i just read that our device can't taste kitkat officialy from sony. even sp tooo.. may be sony will give us a 4.3 update. anyways am looking forward to CM rom.

Meh, everyone knew how small the chance is for XL to be updated to 4.4. At least we'll get 4.3, hopefully.

I've read that Kitkat is so close to be finished by Cyanogenmod. :victory: I'm so looking forward to release.
Sony will never give us Kitkat officialy.. (in my opinion).

But it isn't official yet, I'll just waiting for official Sony Mobile and Sony Developers statements...

Yes, but if you want to you can unlock it. It isn't hard. I 've seen here topic how to do it somewhere. But some of XL cannot be unlocked thats true. We'll see

When an official cm comes no one would care about buggy updates from sony.. Seriously i don't want my proximity sensor to be turned on always..Sony makes us users or testers!???what abt u ppl?

yes sony very stingy to update the device that may be considered "cheap" or "old".
They only make upgrade for "Expensive" devices like xperia Z Family.

the keyboard isn't working in my core

Bro what's your model it works on core duos and only on deodexed rom.....push to system app and set the permissions....it will work

It also works on ODEX rom, just delete SamsungIMEI.apk and SamsungIMEI.odex and put SamsungIMEI.apk your.Works for me, but the numbers are not above the keyboard.
