I can only get it to connect with 150 mbps, is the device capable of doing 300 mbps or more ?
I'm talking about the connection speed, this is not about some speed test, is about the speed betwen the note and the router.

The router is a dlink 868L, more than capable of n speed, I need to find out if 150 mbps is the maximum for the note or the router is faulty.

I'm guessing that WiFi tries to connect itself with the closest router and track its IP to detect where it came from. But what if we are on a fast-moving car? Is it not just a myth that it could actually make our location more accurate? Should I just keep it off for the sake of Nexus 5's terrible battery life?

Earlier today I noticed it was taking forever to connect anything. I have network set as global rather than lte/cdma. Personally don't know if it would effect signal either way but I ran a speed test and this is what it showed. Btw my girlfriend has Verizon and internet data works 100% on her phone.

Ok I thought this was a problem with just the hotspot but I was very very wrong. The network on this phone is super slow I'll get Download speeds of like 60k sec and with the HTC it's like 3000kb a sec. Also have a look at this picture they're connected to the same network at the same time

Does anyone have any ideas as to why and how to fix. I'm at a loss I have no clue whatsoever.
Thanks

The 5Ghz band has less signal strength as compared to 2.4Ghz, Check the placing of the router.
