[Request] Dark Meadow: The Pact THD (Free APK)

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone with a Tegra device could post the files for "Dark Meadow: The Pact THD". It's a free app, but it's only available to download on Tegra devices; and I only have Exynos devices.

Yes, it still doesn't work for me.

I should point out that I've already tried downloading the 8MB apk and installing it. It wouldn't work. I suspect this has less to do with it being a Tegra game and more to do with the fact that the actual Market download isn't 8MB; it's 538MB. No... I'm not ****ting you... It really is 538MB. It doesn't download 530MB post-install; it's an actual 538MB installation. That is why I specifically asked for someone with a Tegra device to install, backup, and upload all the files for this game. I apologize. I should have elaborated in my first post.
Now, to sweeten this pot. I'll chuck in $5.00 via PayPal to whoever posts all the necessary files for this. Thanks in advance!

I'm on the latest ICS Stunner and I can download it from the market (all 538MB) with no problems however the game simply will not run on our devices, with or without Chainfire.

I'm pretty good with getting things running on unsupported devices. I'm even fairly confident that I'll be able to get this running without even using Chainfire 3D. I'm trying to download the SD data now. If it works, I'll try to get the game working. If I'm able to do that, I'd be happy to share it with you. Also, just for kicks, could you zip and upload your ICS Stunner build.prop please. I'd like to try your fingerprint for potential build.prop mods on the Note and Tab 7.7.

Okay. I've got the *.apk and the full SD data. However, I keep running into problem after problem. I have never encountered an app that I couldn't get working on my device, as long as it was built for my device's version of Android. However, I may have to admit defeat with this one. I tried the "all devices" *.apk, but it had problems of it's own. So I made my own "all devices" *.apk and it seemed to work. However, the game also has some pretty intense license checking as well; which makes very little sense being that it's a free game. Anyway, I went ahead and made yet another *.apk and this one has the device check and the license check removed. With Chainfire 3D set to use the NVIDIA plugin, I can now successfully launch the game and it will load the first three splash screens and start playing the title music. However, it freezes on a black screen and crashes after that.
I'm going to bed now; but if anyone would like to give it a shot over the next few hours, I'm going to go ahead and post a link to my newest *.apk with device check and license check removed. Feel free to give it a shot. Just a head's up though, you absolutely must have the SD data to get it to work. It will not, under any circumstances, allow you to download the SD data yourself..... unless you legitimately installed the app from the Play Store.

[MOD] Modified RDLV to add init.d support (and latest su+SuperUser.apk)

Just wanted to ask if I'm allowed to post my files here since I heard that designgears isnt maintaining the RDLV anymore I couldnt ask directly?
I edited the files a lil and modified it so that the device will be having init.d support on top of root if you root with RDLV. (saves you from manually adding it if you want to use it - I'm using it extensivly so I created a special RDLV.zip for my needs)
please some mod or so say if I'm allowed to post this here? All credit goes to designgears obviously, just thought that this might be interesting to others as well to save some work when you upgrade roms or smth and have to reapply the root n **** anyway....
ADD: Could also add latest busybox on top. (and maybe even other stuff like openvpn or smth if you provide me with the binaries and tell me where they need to be put). Or other mods that could be installed in one go. (like xposed + wanam maybe? - but i guess that would be too much then hehe)

What did you mod? Maybe we can share our methods privatly at least?

I had a read up on creative commons licensing and it's all bullsh!t really.
So it provides a form of copyright. That doesn't make it legally binding. You can't just copyright a .bat script. You know why? Because if so, what is the point in the patent system?
There is absolutely nothing stopping someone from making their own version of vega and sharing it with a new license. Even the creative commons license Wikipedia page states this.
Tomorrow, I may release root de la DEGA, but with my own .bat script that calls some more .bat scripts with a different structure. Not a copy as I have devised the method with my own research. But if it's similar, who copied who?
I also think that designgears using this license just goes against what XDA is about. Sharing openly and modding. He gains nothing by the license. He claims it is so he doesn't have to support variants of vega, but nobody asks him to!

well xda tries to protect the rights of the developers more than any other site which is good in some way - but on the other hand "patenting" or "copyrighting" algorithms and methods to do things is wrong in the first place imo. But I respect and thank people like chainfire and designgears alot and don't want to cause any trouble or smth. It's no big "mod" anyway - you can look up the method yourself basically - I posted earlier how to activate init.d support on RDLV rooted phones without messing up root. Just look it up and make your conclusions.
(hint: just change the install-recovery.sh as I explained there and add the init.d installer script to your sd and run it after the phone is rooted - or add the scripts text to the rdlv root install script and there you go. You can also just put it all in a zip and keep it for later use and then you have your very own RDLV install script with init.d support)
maybe designgears also adds this by default to his new version? He has said he wanna release a new version soon.

[Fix] NA1/NA5_Work around to enable installation of non-market apps and disable googl

I'm just your average Falsh-o-holic, who combs through all of the S4 threads to find what's been accomplished/useful information. I have not come across this work around, so I decided to post this info users of the NA1/NA5 Roms who cannot access the Security, settings option.
Disclaimer:
Use this info at your own risk. I am not responsible if this breaks your device.
I am posting this info using my XDA app. I also did this without the need of a PC. Please do not ask for links. Everything I used can be found on this web site, play store or google, except for the kernel. I'll try to be specific. Feel free to add links if you want to help other Users.
My Phone/ROM info:
Confimed working on an US AT&T SGH-I337 S4. I believe this will work on all S4 models. I currently am running Echo Rom v14 (NA5), with old bootloader and wifi working kernel (had to flash the loki doki.zip as well, which can be found all over the AT&T S4 thread).
Links of this kernel have sadly been removed.
I also use the AT&T MK2 modem - I intitially got 4G speed/icon.
I had to preform a few adjustments to the build prop and created a new PTA apn to achieve a stronger LTE connection.
I flahed the Att CSC fix zip (Can be found on the Virgin Rom thread in the OP.) as well.
Tools needed for this permission edit:
SQLite Editor or similar app.
I used SQLite Editor v2.0.1
Solution:
1) Using SQLite editor (in the apps menu) I scrolled down to the Settings Storage app and selected it/pressed it.
2) On the next screen I selected/pressed on the settings.db option.
3) Find the line that reads - install_non_market apps (line 19 for me) and press on it/select it. Then select the edit option (pencil icon top of the screen).
4) Change the value from 0 to 1 and save.
5) In the same menu, navigate to the line that reads - package_verifier_enable (line 86 for me) and change the value from 1 to 0 and save.
Last - Reboot your device and enjoy installing apks from your external/internal storage cards, xposed app, etc., without access to the Security settings option.
Please do not make any other changes because you can possibly harm your device.
These 2 simple edits will stop the current FC's we experience when trying to install and app without using the play store and disable the annoying pop-up thak asks if you want google to check for harmful blah, blah, blah. Will work even if you've pressed OK already, which I did my mistake.
Again feel free to post links to assist other Users. I Hope this helps everyone with old (4.3) bootloaders who cannot access these setting.

I would love to but do not have the proper hardware to do so. I have laptop running with an AMD64 processor, but it came installed with Vista,32 bit. I also have a desktop with Windows 8,32 bit. From what I've read a PC running a 64 bit OS is necessary. Let me know if there is some I can do with my equipment. I've never tried to build because of this but would do so if I could.

You wouldnt even have to build it my friend
You grab the build one (i.e. v14) and you make it so that Americans (which i have soooo many friends i want them to be happy) can use it
Thats all
No need to cook it from scratch! You will be grabbing the latest Echoe everytime
No pressure my friend at all!!
I thought it would be awesome way especially for Americans to be on the 4.4.2
And there is no way i could do it and fully support another thread....

Great find. I had already changed build prop to att and did a dirty flash to get most of my app installed but this will allow those that didn't to work. It makes the Echoe a truly workable Rom for ATT users and a DD candidate. I agree with Friedrich420 this is what the forums are about,
Edit: Tried this and still have a problem with downloading some apps. Get a pop up "can't store internal storage or sd card"

Hmm. Just tried "sqlite editor pro free" and when I got to settings.db to open it, it gives me "an error occurred while opening the database". Rebooted to make sure everything was settled, but still no luck. Went to buy the $2.99 version of sqlite editor, but it couldn't install onto either my sd card or internal memory. Might be the rom, but this leads to the whole point of needing the work around. Maybe a lost cause.

I had fc too. But that's because it needs root access the request didn't appear straight away. After restarted su request finally popped up then it worked.

In build.pro change false for true in the line: "ro.securestorage.support=false" and in the platform.xml in system/etc/permisions look for:
<permission name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
<group gid="sdcard_r" />
<group gid="sdcard_rw" />
and add:
<group gid="media_rw" />

Great work! Eagerly awaiting a zip to flash that will allow Echoe to work flawlessly on I337. GE works great but currently has no real competition and for some reason the Galaxy Gear weather will not work with it so looking to get Echoe working.

What do you need to be fixed my man ? obviously except for wifi which no matter what crazy thing I try I keep failing... (if you are on old b/l I mean)...

Just thinking this could be posted in AT&T like GE rom where you have a zip that changes the 4g icon, build prop and security setting in 1 zip to make it AT&T. What WIFI issues? do they exist on MLD bb?

I wrote to him to add support for Desire X and he accepted if I would test, but as I changed phone I couldn't continue.

I have used this on my device. Made slight changes, works great . I just haven't shared it here because I haven't asked for permission to do so, and out of respect I wouldnt want to trump the dudes work.

I don't understand. You are using non public version?

Public version work without problem, I use it after update to 4.2.2. Only bug is that it remove fm radio so you need to push it back to system after running rom cleaner.

One X version should work. What might be a problem is the "update-binary-installer" (device dependent)
If the update-binary-installer isn't compatible with your device, the updater-script will fail and show a blank install screen.

Helping lazy users all days isn't why I came here to XDA and developed ROM Cleaner.
Terms of Use
ROM Cleaner will remove apps and files
from your device.
If basic ROM Cleaner setup removed too much
apps and files after running, just download
"ROMCleaner_user.txt" or "NO-Sense_user.txt"
or "CM-AOSP_user.txt" from ROM Cleaner thread 
 @xda and make your personal edits.

No. I took the one he shares on that thread. I went in the zip file and made minor adjustments for my 4.1.2 Rom. Then used it. I haven't shared it because even though I made some changes, it is ultimately his work so I haven't shared the one I made modifications to due to me not asking for his permissions to distribute it publicly on our forum. So I have held on to it as a personal resource.

Did i complain about it or something? Did I spamming your topic or your inbox because it remove radio apk?
Someone ask does script work with one sv because it doesn't officially support it. I wrote that it work but you need to push radio back to system.
Don't see why you have problem with that.

FM Radio is removed by default (is that a bug?)
If you still want fm radio then customize your ROMCleaner_user.txt

Well, you should know how frustrating it is developing, writing manuals and people not reading what they are flashing or how to use the freely provided software correctly. It takes lots of time dev-ing making it as user-friendly as possible. Most questions are answered in the manual, which you agreed to have read it while flashing.
Using ROMCleaner and edit it to your demands isn't really rocket science.
So don't stop reading manuals and replies, it will only lead to more frustration for us and to other users.
Having this said: I urge you leaving the discussion as it is, and PLEASE keep reading, as it shows some respect to Patrics83 and his team.

Yep, that's the first step. Just use that version and provide us some more feedback, we will keep an eye in this thread and provide help if needed.

It's just the stock email for 4.4.2 without the security requirement.
Been using it with my Fortune 10 company for a while now perfectly without security, I just use swipe on the lockscreen.
I also don't see why this wouldn't work with any other Touchwiz ROM using 4.4.2. Give it a shot.
1. You need root and Safestrap.
2. Remove current email apk and exchange apk first, with Titanium or another.
3. Flash zip in Safestrap.

Fixed in OP.

I flashed this to my 4.4.2 S4 with Insane KK v11 rom and it works great except it force closes when I try to go into the settings to adjust the sync frequency.
Are there any ideas on how to clear this issue or find another APK that works with 4.4.x?

Where are email.apk and exchange.apk files located? I've searched for them and can't find them. /system /app? Or could they be another file name on a Sprint s5.
