problem is when u delete some system files , as is did with out knowingly , the system wont boot and u cant flash using binary .. only way is thru SEUS repair/reinstall the whole firmware.. so might be useful if the phone is still bootable but gives some error or force close warning or missing file ...

Like I said, I had deleted some so one or two won't be there.

i accidentally deleted my market and then i saw your thread and downloaded the folder, but now everytime i install "vending.apk" it installs fine, also when i open the market. but then when i try downloading an app it force closes when it attempts to start the download...
do i have to install something different too? i have no idea what the problem is...
please help me!

Some of them will need to be pushed and installed using adb (see sig) as they can't be installed in the usual manner.

20 seconds tutorial to fix MD5 mismatch error no terminal needed

Hi recently i read thread about fix MD5 mismatch error but it uses terminal and some lines which sometimes result in errors and are difficult to remember all steps also so i after my research i found this that we DON'T NEED terminal emulator or something to fix it. we can fix it in just 20 seconds. HOW ? read below >
1. Go to backup folder of clockworkmod
2. Rename backup folder to the name you want for example XYZ
Note: dont add space between names.
3. open that folder and open this file nandroid.md5 with any text editor, i use DB text editor which comes with OI file manager
you will see something like this :​

I did same as told here but it didn't helped me it is stuck at md5 sums mistach. Plz tell me what to do.
BTW I am on I_two_v2.4 based on cm7.2. Plz tell me that I can I use this tutorial on this rom backup.

its very very simple bro just make sure there is no space after and before lines and do make sure its like in this image above as u see there nothing much technical in this. many people have got benefit through this even me. :good:

This method is a noob proof method, but i wouldnt recommend it! Simply because skipping an md5 checksum on some of the data files in the nandroid md5 isnt a smart move, specially if you're restoring a rom such as CM which uses codeworkx in its md5.
Idk, i would go with the terminal emulator and fix the issue there! If you ask some well known devs, they will tell you its not a smart idea to skip any type of md5 sum

Some people dont have enough knowledge about fixing md5 so this will help them.
I always follow this tutorial and i never faced even a single issue till now so no harm in this method.

Yes...This method is safe. You can't possibly hard brick your phone via this method.

terminal emulator procedure is same as what i told it manually. so no harm in this method.

When I open the md5 file, I did not see the boot.img and recovery.img line exept the rest, so I deleted everything leaving the Md5 Empty. Then on the CWM I restore it, suddenly, I freak out|!!!!! It REALLY WORKED!!!! packingfreakinton! You're a freakin genius!

I am very much into not using extra app for doing stuff in Android. LIKE your way using SWAP. Can you please tell me how do you use swap in Android. I used "Swapper 2" app as well for checking how swap works but can't get it. i know some linux commands. and was thinking about How i symlink the FOLDER to External SD card by terminal in Android, but symlink also don't work from the terminal.
Can you please help me ?

Im not using any app, just use my modified vold.fstab in q/a thread.. that is way to mount external sd as internal..

So anyway, most of the typical locking apps hide your stuff by simply renaming them and putting them in a convoluted nest of folders on your devices sdcard. This does not actually "Lock" your files, as anyone who has access to your phone can actually find the files and just rename them or undo whatever the app did. So i've designed an app that would do more than that. This app allows you to have the option of encrypting your private files, as well as privately sharing them if your desire. Right now, you can lock your files behind a PIN lock, and a Fake Calculator (and a sound lock). The encryption used is AES-256, salted.

What version of Android? If you're using a custom ROM, sometimes they have issues writing to external SD, so this app will have issues with making changes to an external sd. I can't really do anything about that within the app itself.

All versions of KitKat have an sdcard writing problem from third party apps. Unless you install the External SDcard fix for android. Any KitKat rom that doesn't include the external sdcard fix won't be able to let third party apps write to the sdcard. Or you can download the app off of the PlayStore.

alright, so it deletes fine from your internal sd, but not your external sd? does it delete if you don't encrypt it ? I need to know the exact steps you take so I know which function to look for and fix if possible.

You can only encrypt what you can choose using the android picker. If you can't choose it, then use the batch file adding (it'll ask you to specify an entire directory, and it'll encrypt all files within it). Also remember to actually enable the encryption in the settings if you want it to automatically encrypt.

.wma files (sorry, said it was .wav before) can be chosen as music files using the android picker. However, once chosen, Cryptian doesn't display them as music.

Today i am going to share my personal build of BOSP [BAIDU OS] for our GT-I8262. Remember i have not developed this rom ..
THIS IS NOT MY DEVELOPMENT and I have just fixed bugs for making it better for our device.This is a chinese rom and developed by someone else ..so i am not taking any credits for that.

4. Added some new apps in replacement of Chinese apps
5. Fixed Camera Upside down [ Rotation ] BUG
6. Changed intallation script and now it will not wipe your internal sdcard.
7. Muisc Player trnaslated to english by me.......using google translate though english may be confusing but better than chinese..]
8. Added my modded stock kernel for fixing many bugs..
9. Added Lollipop bootanimation and removed chinese..
10. Default Language is ENGLISH ...

HOW to install this OS/Firmaware/ROM ??
1. Download and copy rom to Extsdcard or internal sdcard.
2. Goto recovery
NOTE:- I prefer TWRP ( u can use any recovery )..

4. Install zip from sdcard and select the BOSP_Repacked_by_abhi922.zip
5. Reboot !
6. Boot will take few minutes....so have patience..

USB Data connection Workaround --> How to transfer files from sdcard to PC or vice-versa ??
Ans :->
As we know this rom has bug that we caanot connect phone to pc and transfer files so here i found a workaround ..and works like a charm
1. Download Android_Commander for windows from HERE
2. then install this on your PC
3. open this application on pc
4. now goto phone's settings > developers options > enable usb debugging.
5. connect your phone to pc and let Android Commander to recognise the conncted device and then open this from Android Commander.
6. Copy , delete , move , rename files on sdcard or internal sdcard or system using ADB..

Thanks for the great ROM..
There's just one problem. Whenever mobile connects to mobile data the network disconnects and data gets disabled..
Also Google Play Services isn't installed which some of the apps such as Google Keep use...

i can't add apn
i trying from yesterday but ca'nt add
so i have no 3g data on the phone
any ideas or any fix
I found this topic in modaco
Baidu Cloud ROM beta V49 English - NOTE: update 67-69 added
and he type fix for the apn problem
- fixed the 3G data for some 128KB "funny sim" card types
i hope we get the fix too

Open Whatsapp and then press home button...then open recent apps using long press home button and swipe down the whatsapp to lock it from clearing...Reason for ur problem is that u clear whatsapp from ram and it need to restart again to give u notifications...

clear cache and data of message app may be helpful....
