Xposed Framework on Moto Droid Ultra - Droid Ultra Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So i initially downloaded and installed Xposed, used a few mods such as Greenify Experiment Donation, Xtheme Engine, MotoXposed and Advanced Reboot but for some reason and I'm not sure which mod or if the entire issue stems from Xposed itself BUT as i was getting to, When i have xposed and those listed mods my phone is not nearly as fluent, has some stutters and just over all smoothness isn't like it is on pure stock....
My question is has anyone else experienced a small amount of speed, performance and fluency lower once Xposed is installed and if not, which mods do you use cause it could be a mod of choice that messes it up

I haven't noticed any slow down, just have gravitybox running, and motoxposed, tinted status bar and unicon installed but inactive.

[GUIDE]dramatically increase performance without affecting battery

hi im here to tell you all what i did to get my infuse running not just better than new but about as fast as any device with a dual core (less than .5 sec slower in a lot of aspects). all this without affecting battery life (that i've seen thus far). so lets get straight to it
NOTE:
if for whatever reason nothing at all happens no changes in speed or battery or anything at all please know i am simply retelling what i did to get the outcome i got it may not work for everyone
DISCLAIMER: I nor anyone else here except for you is responsible for anything that may happen to your device, ever... period
ok with that out the way there are a few apps that im not sure if they or this whole section is needed but its how i have mine setup so here we go
NOTE:
all links will be at the bottom, also please make sure that if you changed to this rom or updated please have all your apps and configurations setup already so you have everything in place and it'd be less of a hassle really also so you can see the benefits
NEEDED APPS:
greenify (donate)
tasker
xposed framework
bootmanager ( xposed module)
ROM:
ok so first you will need to be running scott's beanstalk latest version (at this time it is 4.4.200)
install instructions are fully detailed in the roms thread
XPOSED FRAMEWORK
you will need xposed framework and two modules for this so download and install xposed framework then reboot
BOOT MANAGER
the first xposed module you need is boot manager which is downloadable in xposed framework installer app
activate in xposed by going to xposed installer/modules and clicking the checkbox
now go to boot manager in the app drawer, and set everything that you DON'T need to not start on bootup (by clicking it till it turns red)
GREENIFY (DONATE)
ok now donwload and install greenify (donate) from play store
go into xposed installer/modules and click the checkbox for greenify
then reboot
go into greenify and press menu experimental features, now check all of them except for the last one (block app state abuse)
now go back to the main app and hit the plus sign and start clicking on everything you don't need running in the background (ie. facebook, twitter, google play services, maps, etc) and your done with greenify
TASKER
ok this is a simple one, go get tasker download and install it, once installed open it click the little plus sign at the bottom right select event, then hit display, then display off then hit th back button (it should ask you to start a new task) click new task (name it what you like) press the plus sign at the bottom hit plugin hibernate now, then hit the pencil at the top right and select all greenified apps, then hit back, back and make sure it's turned on
what this does is greenifies all the apps you selected to do so to once your screen is off
SPEED!!!
ok now that we have the battery part out the way this section will not need any apps at all it is done entirely through rom settings
FIRST: goto system settings/Beanstalk Options/BeanStalk Init.d scripts press ok
now here are what you'll need to enable (if its already enabled for whatever reason just leave it enabled)
enable...:
file system speedup
enable battery tweaks
enable touch tweaks
enable setrenice
enable super tweaks
and lastely enable speedy modified
REBOOT AND ENJOY
NOTE:
effects should be instant after the reboot, if not please let everything load (if you have widgets laid out let them all load) then effects should be apparent

There is an unofficial CM 11 port courtesy of Scott, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2517092. It runs fine on my infuse from what I have seen so far. Not tested extensively since it is not my main phone.
Nice guide im going to try it out on my ace 2x (running beanstalk 4.4) hope it works

[Q] Xposed Framework - Gravitybox or Xblast Tools

Hello all,
What module do you use to customize - gravitybox or xblast tools? It seems that gravitybox is more popular but I haven't tried it yet. Xblast tools seems to have a lot of options from what I've seen. Just curious as to what everyone else's preference is
Xblast is awesome. However, in my experience, many of their mods are not yet compatible with KitKat. For that reason alone I believe Gravity Box is the better option for customizing/themeing. Gravity Box has its own KitKat module, specifically for KK Roms. I use GB (KK) and XGELS to do most of my framework/system themeing. XGELS is a really cool Xposed module that lets you customize the stock GEL launcher. It has many options such as resizing icons/text, changing the color of the icon text, removing the text and removing the oh so annoying google search bar! Plus many more features. Anything beyond that I use/build Zip Themer mods. Zip Themer is one badass application that builds flashable zips that help making the modification and themeing process a lot more user friendly. If you wanna check out how affective zip themer can be, go ahead and check out the candy shop mod thread in the Nexus 5 Themes and Apps forum. It's quite possibly my favorite and most used method of themeing my phone!

Says who? I'm not even running the stock cm11s. I find every single xposed mod installed useful.
I actually use greenify, whatsapp mods (to remove the stupid button to take photos in the whatsapp text bar). Going to install crappalinks, didn't know about it, i've just searched for infos on google after seeing it on the previous post
I use these
None, using ART since I can't stand any lag while opening apps with dalvik
Where did you get the greenify module from?
Greenify is an app on the Play Store.

Can anybody confirm that xhalo floating window is working on lollipop. I'm currently on CM12s and just have amplify and greenify.

Gravity box? Lagging?

I'm running stock rom with rooted and installed Xposed modules!
Tried a handful of mods....but when i install gravity box it slows down my snappyness..while muktitasking....navigation buttons slightly lags a bit..... Which doesn't exist before i installed gravity or rooted? Please any solution to this???
Sent from my Nexus 5!!!!
Did you use ART before installing Xposed Framework? As far as I know, installing Xposed disables ART (because it's not compatible yet).
While on ART the phone is a bit faster and snappier
it all depends on what settings you run from my understanding, the tweaks may interfere with stock UI since the modules are injected into the framework, while custom roms are built from ground up with optimization based on hardware
Since gravity can't test on all phones due to hardware and vanilla android alterations you may have issues or conflicts, I had navigational bar lags on stock, I suspect you need a custom rom that can remove the navi bar and use gravity one instead
Is mahdi rom is stable? And gud to use?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
mahdi rom would be a good start, it depends on what you want, Im using slimrom since it has basic mods I want, and its small and light,
gravitybox may not work with some custom roms since they already have most of the settings and it will just cause conflicts

Gravity box should work fine with nexus 5 stock. The gravity dev has a nexus 5
No idea what you're talking about injecting modules

[Q] Lollipop and G3TWB

I know xposed is still an in progress thing for lollipop, and I know that a lot of people have been running it just fine. I am mostly wondering if the G3 Tweakbox runs fine on lollipop? I use a bunch of modifications from it on my phone and would hate to give it up just to move to lollipop.
In my experience it does install fine with the latest version of xposed, just make sure you get the latest alpha of G3TWB from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53618487&postcount=3
As far as specific tweaks working, it seems to be a mixed bag. For example, I was able to get circle battery but not AOSP status bar icons. In fact, I would expect probably most of the theme functionality probably will not work quite yet.
