By adding charging animation in your rom... This will help from not going to recovery.. Instead it sill show chrgng animation... You can add it by pushing chrging animation folder in your roms system memory...
After flashing philz touch recovery, this happens with my device too..with cwm it works normal.

I just had a bootloop changing dalvik to art. Then it shutdown suddenly and there is no way to turn it on, i can't access to recovery or download mode, and it isn't recognized by the computer. Sorry for my english... Any advice?
I had the Nexus g beta 4 rom, with a clean installation, and it works fine with dalvik
Sure that the Battery is not completely drained?
Try this:

According to Motorola Mobility, the solution to a fully discharged battery not restarting is to plug it in to charger and press & hold the power button for 18+ seconds, when the battery should resume charging.

Did you do anythigh else than switching to ART? I am asking, because you cannot brick your phone with ART. When you turn the phone on, it first runs the bootloader, the bootloader loads the kernel and only after that is the ROM loaded, which is the step where ART can cause problems.
In short - there is no way ART could have done anything to the bootloader or the kernel and thus it couldn´t have bricked the phone.

Freeze the phone worked!!! Thank you sir, you save my phone!
Hey guys, I have been getting really good battery life, and I still am. But since a couple of days I have been noticing that the whole battery gets drained in a couple of seconds soon after the battery hits somewhere as low as 14 or 15%. The phone just shuts down and wouldn't turn on before it's plugged in again. Also, I noticed the phone charges back from 0-12 or 13 % in under a minute, which is VERY STRANGE.
What do you think is happening guys? Please help.
PS: Read somewhere here about calibrating battery by charging it for 8 hours, turning off, and all that. I did try that and it did not work for me
Thanks a lot in advance
Anyone?
Have you tried factory reset or stock img flash via fastboot? These are first two steps you should try.

So does that mean there is nothing wrong with the battery? I mean the hardware part? @Lukiqq
I think hw is fine in your case, you should really try revert it to factory state first.

Yes. Turns out it was a problem with the battery calibration. Let your phone run out of charge. Once it turns itself off, plug it in for about 2.5 hours without interruption. Unplug, wait for 5 minutes, re-plug and charge for another 15 minutes. Unplug and turn on the phone. Your phone should be re calibrated
Hii guyz. Since 20 days my phone switches off wen it is below 15% currently I am using moto g3 osprey 2015
Twrp installed , cm 13 nightly ,gapps 6.0 pico
My phone switches off suddenly when it is below 15%
And wen I charge it back and try to switch it on booting fails and it again it turns off
Every time it switches of it takes 4 booting process to start normally
But wen I use twrp and and reboot d system it starts instantly
What should I do guyz?
Try to re calibrate your battery, look for some app that does this on the play store, charge your phone to 100% and then use the app. Should fix this

Charge your phone to 100%, then open the app, click on calibrate and then reboot. Make sure that you have root enabled.

Hello..
After charging my le 1s, the battery percentage remains the same even though battery is discharging and suddenly it is switching off when charge completely discharges but we dont know when the battery is drained since the percentage is not changing. And also the notification led light(orange colour) keeps on blinking continuously even though it is not connected to power source. The phone is taking so long to charge up and also it is discharging very fast.
I have tried replacing battery to new one and did factory reset also. even though the issue is not resolved. Please help me
Thanks
