Expense Manager with import - Android Apps and Games

Does anyone know of an expense manager with the following ?
Import (from excel or csv - I have years worth of history in self-built workbook)
Aesthetic UI - lots of nice pie-charts with filters on categories, dates, locations, etc
Desktop/cloud sync would be nice, but I am a little paranoid (hence why I built my own xlsm workbook)
Non-subscription, but happy to pay for a one-off licence
non-cloud/connection only - must be available off-line
Something like a marriage of the two apps named "Expense Manager" in Play
i.e. Functionality by Bishinews, design by Markus Hintersteiner
Lots of apps can export data (expecting you to manually input every transaction) but I would like to be able to import a bulk of data (i.e. bank statements) and analyse on the move
The closest I have found todate is My Budget Book by OneTwoApps
and YNAB 4 (which costs a whole chunk more)
Thanks for any suggestions,recommendations

[Q] Project Management / ToDo with subtasks, a decent online interface and backups?

Hey all.
I'm currently on the lookout for a todo / project management application. These are the features I'm looking for:
- Projects
- Due dates for each task
- Tags
- Subtasks
- Offline android app
- Online syncing with web app
- Easy to use and fast web interface
and optionally,
- gCalendar integration
I'll get started with the ones I've worked with so far and mention their shortcomings.
TodoistDroid + Todoist
-----------------------------
- Projects //check
- Due dates for each task //check
- Tags //check
- Subtasks //check
- Offline android app //not available
- Online syncing with web app //works online
- Easy to use and fast web interface //check
and optionally,
- gCalendar integration //not available
I haven't really tried TodoistDroid non-free but the free version is very fast and essentially copies Todoist (web) functionality. TodoistDroid will as the dev has mentioned go offline at some point. The one reason I'm not getting the non-free version is because Todoist website cannot export tasks, does not integrate with any calendar and the developer doesn't really inspire confidence in the project staying there for a long time ( I use the site for very important stuff and I need to feel certain that the site will be supported or at least my data will not disappear).
Astrid + Toodledo
-----------------------
Haven't tried Astrid yet but Toodledo has the WORST interface EVAR.
Also, check out Due Today by Lakeridge Software. It syncs with ToodleDo, but can also be used by itself. It supports projects, sub-projects, tags, due dates, floating tasks (tasks that show as due today but have no official due date, so they float from day to day), contexts, etc.
Subtask support will be coming in version 1.1 (due later today). Subtasks will only be supported one-level deep (for deeper management, you might think of using sub-projects). It also has a very powerful homescreen widget in 2x2, 4x1, 4x2, 4x3 and 4x4 sizes.
A lite version (ad-supported) will also be coming soon.

I would prefer multiple nested subtasks. I have been using this setup in Todoist and it's amazingly simple and useful. I like the floating tasks idea, very nice! The deal breaker would be the god-awful Toodledo site. I'll try the app as soon as the new version is out.
I'll see what I can do about the multiple levels. Right now since my only sync option is ToodleDo (it's going to change soon, though with a desktop sync as well as a few other online services) I'm limiting the subtasks to a single level. Once I get more syncing options in the app, multiple levels will become available.
I'll check out Todoist and check out the sync options with it.
Just FYI, I just pushed out version 1.1.1 and it contains subtasks for syncing with a ToodleDo pro account (or, if you just want to have subtasks on your device without a sync).
Will give it a spin!

[Q] app needed - phonebook on bluetooth

Not being able to do coding for Android (no cobol compiler I guess? ;-) I would like to see if one of you would be able and willing to do a bit of coding. End result will be worth some money when loaded in the market as I'm sure lots of users have the same problem..
What I'm after is a little app that integrates with the Android Bluetooth stack and limits the transfer of phone book entries to the Car bluetooth system to one of more selectable categories. You can just see how that is usefull - I have 600+ entries, each with 2-3 phone numbers - in the phone book. Even if synching that doesn't fail - it often does exceeding the memory of the Bluetooth system in the car - it's completely useless if you have to scroll through 1000 entries to make a phone call.
Interface would be simple - just a screen to select the categories in the standard Android phone book that you want to sync.
Winmo used to have an app like that - Jetdirect did it just fine.
Any takers??
thnx

[Q] WIFI manager with XML import-export

I am looking for a piece of software that would be able to manage my wifi settings. It has to export/ import all settings via XML, including the wep/wpa passphrase as well as the username/pass credentials for accespoints with more sophisticated security.
I could only find applications with very basic import export functionalities.
I think I am not the only one here who changes the roms and makes full wipes of his phone on almost a weekly basis, so this would be extremely helpful.
Thanks a lot
Hi,
Working on a BOYD concept for my work! Thera is a way for Apple but I cannot find any way for Android.

Best note app is here : onenote mobile from microsoft for android available

One of the most anticipated app for android from Microsoft is here
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.microsoft.office.onenote
Yes..
Tested on the tablet and it actually works with skydrive. No problem making a note with image and sync it.
One problem: It does not support handwritten notes from my win 7 tablet.
missing so many features
- Does not show handwritten notes.
- Notes made only go to personal web folder and not in the folder that i make a new one
- Selecting fonts and stuff like that are missing
- cannot add files
- no handwritten notes possible.
- Very very basic and disappointed.
I just need textnotes, so that's okay for me. I only need enumeration for hierarchical organization of the text.
I only work on a limited number of projects, so o don't necessarily need to be able to add files on the device, though this option would be nice.
Project notebooks wich i share with skydrive are perfectly synchronized both ways.
This app boosts my productivity ! So I'm kinda satisfied.
thanks a lot
Agree

[APP][4.0.3+][1.3.36] Plotim real-data x-y viewer and analyzer

My first Android app, initially created out of a real need, but has grown a bit since.
My app allows loading or pasting of text csv or other column formatted text files to display the data either as y-t plots or arbitrary x-y plots.
Surprisingly, I couldn't find such an app. I could only find function plotters, which this app is not.
At first, I needed this app to show experiment results to a professor, but I now use it at work on my tablet instead of printing graphs, allowing me to interactively demonstrate points of interest in my analyzes.
It is written with large data in mind, using C++ and OpenGL for speed and tight memory usage.
It is available on google play under "PlotimFree" but I also attached it here.
Created graphs can be either exported to PNGs or saved as binary files for later fast re-loading with all configurations and parameters.
I use it mainly on my 10" tablet, but I tested it on a few phones and tried my best to make it useful on small screens.
