i want to flash CWM into this phone and for that i need a factory insertion
can anyone provide me with the original rom files i tried with no luck

there u mentioned something like dump ... or rom .. can i help u ./ i have rooted it and mine is unknown manafacturer .. and all details are in my thread in which i asked how to root it .. have a look at that thread which i started .. and tell me if i can be of any help .. i have rooted it and have no custom recover installed as i dont know it .
also mine is also a single micro sim version .. but there near the sime on the right side is a plastic if u observer near that .. there is a dummy sim in it .. just cut the plastic above in shape of sim card with blade .. and remove that dummy sim .. its normal sized sime and i am using it ..

i am sorry. but can you email me at [email protected] on how can i upgrade or install 4.1+ rom on my s3 dual sim (micro+normal) mtk 6575. i have been looking around..googling here and there... but theres no more support for this poor s3 mtk6575. you might be the sunshine. for us. thank you.

The only rom that will work on the S3 clone is the factory MTK rom there are no updates, If you try to install CWM it will brick your phone

installing any other rom on the S3 clone will cause the hardware in the phone to stop working

[Q] No recovery or download mode in Galaxy ace s5830i

hello guys....
please help me out here...
i have a galaxy ace s5830i....
i decided to root and install custom rom for the phone .....
the root was successful in the first attempt while i was able to install jellyblast custom rom on the 2nd attempt....but i didnt like it...so tried to flash mindcr rom[galaxy s3] rom following the same steps every time[as mentioned in the link]
Unfortunately it was unsuccessful & so i tried nearly 4-5 times but in vain....
Now the device doesnt even boot up in recovery or download mode...all it does is come is come up with black screen with some bright white light in the background even when i connect my charger,usb.
I dont understand what to do ....please please help me out....

Bro home+power+volume up=recovery mode
And home+power+volume down=download mode.
And as you said if you are unable to boot in to any of these mode.... Then it is serious problem.
Although there are some methods for that too but I didn't use them myself.
So search on google it xda about that

Yeah, I think so.
But wait may be someone can solve your problem.
You can take your device to customer center.
They may charge some money (if your device is not in warranty) but they will repair it.

Your phone just might be too new . You are using android, dude. Don't worry even lots of custom roms will show up in a month.

Hello I'm new to XDA. I have brought galaxy core 2 just 2 days ago and i am also waiting for its cwm recovery and custom roms. If anyone have any way to install cwm recovery,plz-plz-plz tell me how to do it.

Hey.. srry to say that but my grand went into the washing machine :'( I cant use it anymore... i now have a samsung galaxy star pro... for linux... it is an operatig system... just like windows... look up on google... pm me if u want... but dont expect immediate reply! Im in 10th!

No bro!!! Linux is the key to android development! If u can't w8 for someone else to develop it.. Make a Facebook grp for your phone... Just as I did for my done when it was new... Others will jump in too!

hey i somehow made the recovery but it is not working means when i flash temporary recovery zip nothing appears blank so please can anybody help me with this issue

ZTE Grand SII (S251) Rooting Guide!!!! (Indian 3G Version)

Hello Everyone!!!!
This is a rooting guide for ZTE Grand SII (S251) which was released in india in the past week.... after trying a number of tools i was successfully able to root the phone, so this is a guide for those who would like to root their phone.... i am not a developer just a power user
1) Connect ur phone to ur pc first time in "Install driver mode" and install the adb drivers first... (Or else you can run setup from the attached file below for installing the drivers for your phone)
2) Once drivers are installed enable "developers Option" in settings and enable "USB debugging"
3) Then download root genius from the attachment below
4) Connect your phone to the pc and select "connect to pc Software" and let the drivers install
5) fire up root genius with administers privileges (you should have internet connection for this)
6) if you have done everything as described above then u should see connected on bottom left of your screen, click i accept agreement and click root and wait....
7) It should take 2 to 3 mins to root using all the possible exploits (internet connection is required for this) and then it should say that you have successfully rooted your phone
8) Once it tells you its successfully rooted close the program disconnect your phone from pc and restart
9) you should see a new program called KingUser in your app drawer (which is like superUser)
10) and Voila!!! your phone is rooted!!!! to confirm this download any free root checker from playstore and check your root privileges.....
NB:
1) You can replace kinguser with super user just by downloading it from the store and installing and updating its binary...... i have taken a backup of kinguser in titanium backup before installing superuser and replacing it as a system app.....
2) You can follow this guide cautiously cause if you brick your phone then i am not responsible..... this has worked for me and hence wanted to share it with the community which has helped me countless times in the past.....
3) if you root your phone your warranty would also void and i am not responsible for the same.....
4) any help or suggestion would definitely help with that

Thx bro... Just trying to help.... Nope a developer needs to port the ROM for our device then only we might get a custom ROM...
The Antutu score is 39554 on v5.1

As of now its not available for our device and frankly have not tried it too, since there is no modder who is ready to work on our device..... have gifted this phone to wife for this sole reason and moved over to OnePlus One....

Guys can you confirm the model number is S251 for the Indian version of ZTE Grand S2. Also did anyone come across stock official firmware for ZTE Grand S2? I was a kernel developer for Xperia ZL previously and I can try porting recovery for our device if anyone could point me to any stock firmware for this device so that I can recover my device incase I brick it.

Yep the Indian Grand s2 model number is S251 and it's only 3g with CDMA unlike the international variant which is 4g lte variant ..... And i have yet to come across a stock firmware and recovery for this device hence am skeptical to flash anything else... Wish u could help us out with a working custom recovery....

I've already received my device and started working on CWM. I was thinking of making a unification thread for all the ZTE Grand S II devices. I'll try doing that but if anyone's willing to do that post the link to that thread here to redirect users. Also I found the stock firmware files for our device so we can always go back to working stock firmware in case anything goes wrong. I'll post link to stock firmware later

I downloaded it, but it didnt install. On going through the details on the site it states that it works only on Kitkat devices. Can you confirm how you installed this on your device

There are some ROMs present on the below link which state the model as ZTE-S251, the one we have in India. But how to check if these will work on our phones.

Serious problem ! Help Please !*

Hello I am not amateur to root and all this ! But I am not that pro! I own Yuphoria 5010 and I flashed cm 12 rom onto it . And Now I have tried to flash stock rom. but It gone wrong and now my yuphpria doesn't booting up in fastboot mode nor Recovery mode and neither bppting up and Not charging ! Now what to do ? Please someone help me asap!!!! Once recovery or faatboot mode gets open than I can do anything but withput it I can't do anything! Help Me+ . and I read couple of articles like this problem but I couldnt understand plz help in some easy way or in some kind of easy language! Plz guys Am still waiting for ur valuable answer !

What have u done with ur yuphoria ? I mean what thing bricked ur phone or damaged ur phone?
