[NO ROOT]Stock Gingerbread apps installed

I have recently installed the Android SDK and found that i could pull system apps form emulators! i used this to get all android apps that i thought would be cool to have and these are the ones i could get to work with no root.
Calculator
DevTools (Development)
Spare Parts
DeskClock
Email
Custom Locale
Music
Terminal Emulator(Can be found in DevTools)
The apps that I tried that DON'T work are:
Launcher
Browser
I don't know if Gallery works or not... i haven't had the chance to try.

If your using the XDA app, click dpwnload then use a file manager and go to mnt/sdcard/xda-downloads then click the one you want to install.
If not, click the link then use a file manager to go to mnt/sdcard/downloads and click the one you want to install.

Im pretty sure KFU(kindle fire utility) is for the computer only.

Nevermind.. figured it out from a different post on how to install these apps.
So the email app is different than the stock Kindle email? I may have to check that one out.

The zip causes my kindle to hang on the fire fire fire screen after installation. I install and then wipe cache and dalvik cache. I downloaded twice in case it was bad.

Do you have any previous mods or themes? Also which version of the Rom?
BTW, I have an update almost ready, to fix the inverted Gmail, and also include the latest Firefox.

I have the acid audio mod installed. I dropped the other mod I was using because it no longer being developed. I aleays run the latest twa_priv release, which currently is 20121119.

Have you had issue with acid audio before. I made the script initially for the dev of acid audio that mods the build prop and it would cause issues with Netflix. It has changed since I created that and more has been added. Acid also would not allow my old a500 to boot with all the build prop mods.

Have not had an issue, but the rom update wipes the mod. I have to reinstall it. So, sounds like I need to reinstall the rom, run this update, and then install acid. I will try that later and see how it goes.

yeah, unfortunately I haven't gotten around to scripting the build.prop mods, and this actualy replaces the file, I plan to add a script to just modify the existing file.

The mod works if I install it first, then install the acid audio mod.

I got this message only once when phone turned on, but after that no errors.

Just an FYI, I tried this and got no errors, but a few of the mods didn't work for me.
In app menu ellipsis: never worked, had to flash a separate one from sefnap to get it to show up
Quick boot menu: doesn't show up either
Recent apps: had to go to front touch buttons in settings and pick something for it to show up

This mod is so underrated. ... keep this up man. . Where to donate? Different colors???

Yes its because of the nav bar size mod. ButLike you said the message only appears when you boot then It's gone.

Google Launcher For Android 4.4 (KitKat) on Note 3

I have just installed Google Launcher of Android 4.4 (KitKat) on Galaxy Note 3. It really works great and I like the Google Now integration.
Only thing is that on 5.7 inch screen, icons look little big...here is the initial impression:

Well if you want everything to look better and you're rooted, install xposed and the app settings module and change the Google search app dpi to 420(that's the one I found to work the nicest with space) and the font scale to 120 and voila

No root needed. You're just downloading two apks. It's very simple. You get the upgraded search and the new Google Experience Launcher which is fun to play with. As indicated above you do lose the nice transparent status bar.

Hi guys !
I want to share the new Kitkat stuff from AOSP i tested with you.
Here's the new Android Kitkat Launcher ( Official one from AOSP source)
To get the launcher to work you have to :
1 - Install Google services 4
2 - Install Google search
3 - Install Google Experience Launcher
4a - Reboot your phone
4b - Clear cache and delvik cache is recommended
You need to replace a lib in your /system/lib/ folder to fix force close. ( see link below )
Here a list of the apps that work without issues on CM. 10.2 ( i didn't try on other rom )
Google Book ( work without issues )
Google Calendar ( work without issues )
Camera ( work but video don't )
Deskclock ( work without issues, clear cache of the app if fc)
Gmail ( work without issues )

Yeah it work, be carefull, you need root privilege. Mine create a copy of the file at first that why it wasn't fix.

The new keyboard doesn't work. I've tested it. And I have all the others besides clock and email. Because I don't use the aosp one. But yeah.

Keyboard wouldn't work for me either. Wouldn't install as a normal app if I remember right and constantly fc'd when I pushed it to system/app.

Keyboard working fine here and we're on same rom lol that's odd all I did was install as an app the icon was on home screen for it and I tapped it then it let me set it up works great PM me and i'll send you the one i'm using.

I just flashed the new GAPPS from paranoid android and it has all this included. besides camera, gallery. and the launcher.

Also if you're on the latest build of beanstalk with marla. I modified the zip a tad. Deleted Mms.apk, changed status bar icons to PA icons so you could use XBlast tools xposed module for white icons. Deleted Apollo, Browser, etc. Just flash gapps and toss the new launcher in system apps, permissions and reboot. And choose it of course..
And "OK Google" works. Just update the languages for offline mode in Google Now settings. It's really fast and responsive.

I didn't manage to install gallery, it won't install with the apk on CM 10.2
New photo with google + look way better i think.

You're doing it wrong. It's a system app. And just flash the new PA Gapps.. It's all included. No hassle to go through
