As we all know,
it's not possible to define various ringtones / vibration patterns
for each sim card for incoming calls / sms on various phones.
If you ask for a solution, the first answer is -as usual-, that there is a workaround,
in which you should set a ringtone for a contact or group;
true and working, but is not a solution,
because of anonymous or unknown incoming calls / sms.
:good: Looking for a solution (want to buy a Alcatel Star!),
I've found two APPs:
DualSim Ringtone (@ PlayStore)
and
DualSim Ringer (@ 4pda)
Can anybody talk about?
Thanks in advance!

Hey all,
I would like to know if anyone knows about a tool or utility that outputs a different ringtone on each call. So not linked to a contact but always random.
Kind Regards
Hey...did you get a reply / found a way to randomise the ringtone for incoming calls? Let me know if you do...i'm bored with current ringtones and would love to have this capability on my XDA IIi

I have to write code to block incoming call notification in Windows Mobile 5.0. I have read on various forums that it can be done by pausing the threads cprog.exe process. But despite pausing all the threads, the notification is still persistant. Please help urgently.
Do you only want to block notifications or the calls themselves? There is a program called Call Firewall that might help you.
Hi
I would like to to the same thing:
if someone calls the number of my devices, I want to suppress the "incoming call notification" and accept the call with an own application.
Acception the own stuff should work very good, but the notification coming from the operating system is annoying.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance for a clue,
regards

I need to do both in different situations. Can you please tell me how I can do that using TAPI? Specifically, how can I monitor a line and get the handle to an incoming call, so that I can check the caller's number and act accordingly?
Hi all,
I was trying to install some custom dialpad skins (which didn't work) and now non of my incoming ringtones work. I have them all selected in notifications and can play them back there but incoming calls make no sound.
I think I remember reading this could happen somewhere and there was a regfix you had to do but I don't know what it is.
Any help appreciated
Joel
NO sound on incoming phone call
Hey Pal, Same here. I loaded the HTC dialer on wm 6.5 v23620. It worked fine for 2 days but thereafter there's been no sound. Can somebody send the cab file or a link to fix this bug.
Hi,
I have a Xiaocai X9 dual sim phone. I have two sim cards with complementary contracts. The first sim comes with free texts and internet, while the second sim card comes with free calls. However, if I accidentally use the first sim card for calls or the second for texts and internet, it can get pretty expensive.
I use MIUI and often it automatically selects sim card 1 instead of 2 for calls. Therefore, I need a way to disable or block all outgoing calls on sim card 1 and ideally all outgoing texts and internet connections for sim card 2.
Please post here if you know a solution. Thanks!
Does anyone know a handset or app which allows you to restrict calls to small set of numbers, while allowing SMS to any number?
I've been playing around with my HTC Desire S, and you can use Fixed Dialing Numbers (FDN) to restrict calls to a small set of numbers, but that also restricts SMS to that same set of numbers.
I'm using miui v5. While making call it asks from which
Sim you want to place call. Also for sms while sending sms you get 2 options sim1 sim2 select appropriate option to send sms. I have not seen any song to set default option for sms/call

I also use MIUI v5. There are certain scenarios when MIUI automatically starts a call with sim1 without the prompt. Furthermore, there is also the risk to accidentally select the wrong sim card for a call or a text message - as it happened to my once. I therefore still try to find a fool-proof solution - either an app or an OS.
Hi guys
I have the same problem and seriously want to solve this problem with miui v5 on TCL s950

Hi. In my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10e) I’ve 2 SIM cards inserted. Sim 1 is private Sim 2 is work
I’m looking for a solution that let's me create SIM specific Sound Profiles like:
Profile 1 ALL on Sound on both SIM-cards when calling, texting and other notifications.
Profile 2 Work only Sound on SIM2 phone and text, SIM 1 phone and text silent/vibration, everything else vibration or silent.
Optional Profile 3 Private only Opposite of Profile 2, SIM1 phone and calling with sound, SIM2 Silent/vibrating, Sound on notifications.
Is it somehow possible? It’s okay with my to buy an app that can help me set this up.
Hope that someone know a solution.
Thanks in advance.
