Hello, I have a problem with my one s, after the 's-off I installed the latest TWRP.
Mistakenly I did wipe the sdcard, now when I mount it by only 48 mb ...... How do I restore \ recreate the partition to 12gb?
here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45621060&postcount=68
If this twrp won't mount as usb storage, you should try flash twrp S4 in One_S_All-In-One_Kit_v3.5
If you can't boot in Android to copy a rom, you make this in twrp and Mount (push mount and back many time until you'll see usb storage in My Computer)
In command line
adb push HTC_One_S_-_MaximusHD_10.0.0.zip /sdcard/
Click to collapse
and wait
HTC_One_S_-_MaximusHD_10.0.0.zip or your rom.zip, something like that.
I solved it by installing the recovery of maximushd via sideload Thanks Anyway!

Hi all,
I'm here because I need your help...
Days ago I installed on my TF101G the recovery CWM 5.8.1.8...
now I can just go into recovery mode and if I try to mount /data I receive the message "no location found"...
how can I push a Rom on my TF to try to install it?
thanks in advance for your help
how to flash a ROM
The ROM to be flashed must be cwm flashable, you cannot flash official firmware unless it is repacked to be cwm flashable.
Your ROM must be a zip file, do not unzip it.
Copy (or adb push) the ROM to /sdcard/
Reboot tab into recovery.
Follow cwm flash instructions. There are many such a manual available on-line, one of them is:
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile...-and-how-to-use-it-on-android-complete-guide/
You can just jump to section "apply update from sdcard", which tells you how to use cwm recovery to flash a ROM
One thing you should pay attention is:
if the ROM to be flashed is only a update to your current ROM, do not do any wipe work.
If it is a new ROM, you must do the wipe.
You can also try this....
hi Fenice82,
read this forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1213723
and read message 1 and 313 for mounting and the adb commands for sending cmw flash file to your internal card of your TF.
Make sure you have the cwm flashable rom file on you computer in the adb dir.
good luck.
I'm hege again...
thk nlheiz for your post...
I push the rom in my TF... I tried different location...
data/media
or
data
or
system
or
sdcard
or
sdcard/rom
if I go in adb shell and I use command mkdir to make a new folder like system, data, sdcard I see the the file already exist...
but my tf "can't mount /sdcard/" and at the same time if i try to mount /data from recovery I see the message
"Error mounting /data!"
what can I do now?
edit... maybe this can help you...
via ADB shell
mount data
mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk0p7 on /data failed: Invalid argument
How about restore stock recovery and ROM? Here is a recent guide for root/unroot/downgrading:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1622628
I don't have experience with cwm 5.8.1.8, I stayed on 3.2.0.1 because it is possible to flash from external sdcards.
cold you try this:
put our tablet into cwm (volume - plus power and when asked volume +) and connect it to usb on pc.
then on your pc:
adb devices
this should give you a serial number back.....
then try this:
to mount the internal sdcard so that you can push a new rom- use
adb shell
mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p7 /data/
ls /sdcard/
exit
then from your pc, type:
adb push /path/to/your/rom.zip /data/media
I found this here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23256536 in post 3......
let me know if this works

It seems you wiped/formatted your internal storage.
You should be able to mount by USB to your pc if you have your drivers for the device installed though I have never tried.
Few things you could try.
1.) reformat microSD card(fat32) and put rom on it and see if it is mountable again.
2.)If you are getting the message unable to mount internal storage try formatting the internal storage using twrp(data will be lost).

I try new SD card and reformat but same situation. How driver i need for connection over USB?
You'll need to use adb to connect your device whilst in twrp. However why don't you just copy a ROM to SD card and flash that way?

This looks to me as if you're another candidate for this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803343
The instructions are for an old ICS rom, but still work with JB 4.2
You may want to search for users ssnova or jjgrantham in the CROMIX thread in the development section and pm them.
They had exactly your problem: only thing they could boot to was TWRP and solved it using above method.
Good luck, let us know if it worked!

Well, after looking a solution to ADB sideload write error from TWRP, I just rebooted TWRP, asked me to install SuperSU, rebooted, and sideload worked perfectly.

I just finished installing Maximus rom up to the part where I have to reflash the rom after firmware update. When I'm booted in android, I can copy the rom to my sdcard (I used "download" folder). However, when I get into recovery and click install, the only folder available on sdcard was "twrp". When I mounted the storage from twrp, Windows ask me to reformat my sdcard, but says only 50 megabytes is available. Can someone help me out please?
Side mount in twrp, copy ur stuff if you can and then format sdcard. and do a clean flash afterwards.Try that.

Something went wrong when flashing firmware. Make sure the hboot is 2.16 and make sure you have flash modified twrp from maximushd.

Which version of recovery are you using? Tried to switch to last version?
Okay, i did it now without sideload:
push rom to /data/media
somehow the partition for /data/media received 12gb
with twrp you can flash the rom from there, after the rom is installed you will have acces to the 12gb again when conecting the phone via USB cable
as the title states..in a rush i accidentally wiped my internal storage and everything else..i can get into recovery and fastboot mode

That's ironic, the very same thing happen to me yesterday except in my case I undervolted too low and corrupted the data, had to format everything.
Which recovery are you using? PhilZ Touch allows you to push stuff onto the internal storage.
The command would be "adb push (name of your folder) /sdcard/"
thanks for the response...im using TWRP...i just decided to flash the stock images and start from scratch
adb doesn't work in fastboot mode. Only fastboot works in fastboot mode. adb works only in recovery mode or Android mode. adb and fastboot are NOT the same thing. They are not synonymous

Get fastboot and adb exes for windows.
Add them to your PATH to make them available from everywhere.
If you dont know from where to get fastboot and adb and you dont know how to add them to the PATH, then this is for you.
If you choose TWRP to flash new rom:
If you are on windows 8 or 8.1 then disable driver signature enforcement.
You need universal naked drivers.
Open CMD window on your PC.
Go to that directory where the rom.zip is. (The commands you need to navigate between folders: dir and cd)
For adb push:
Type this in the CMD window and flash it in TWRP:
Code:
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
For adb sideload:
In twrp: Advanced->ADB Sideload->Swipe to Start Sideload
Then type this in the CMD window:
Code:
adb sideload rom.zip
If you ends up in boot loop do a factory reset.
For flashing factory images:
Enter the phone to fastboot mode and connect it to the PC
Install usb drivers from google.
Download factory images for nexus 5 and extract it.
Run flash-all.bat.

Oh.... Interesting I guess I never thought that it could be an issue with the recovery itself.... I just assumed it was operator error.
So I would assume CWM is the obvious alternative.... Is there anything else that is recommended?

What do you mean by internal storage? Wiping data will wipe your apps but anything on your internal sdcard should not be wiped. Backups, etc

What I do is reboot to twrp. Select wipe then swipe that thing which tells me "swipe to factory reset".
This does wipes /cache and /data without deleting /data/media. The files on the internal storage is in /data/media/0
What I do not do is selecting Format data and type yes for format or going into the advanced wipe and select /sdcard to format too.
hey

Hi, can anyone help me, I got problem.
I have Lenovo A526 phone stuck in logo. First time I used Sp Flash Tools & Stock Rom to fix, after all done the popup said "Download OK" but after restart it still hang in logo. I tried few time.
Stock ROM from this site: http://firmwarefile.com/lenovo-a526 And I use SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1628 from that site too.
Then I use this rom: http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?t=1184121 With the same SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1628. I use " [Custom ROM] A526 is based on a sink firmware ROW_031 for Lenovo a526 " from FoxtrotKZ, result still same.
Later I've used ADB & TWRP recovery to install a custom rom. With this custom rom:
http://www.needrom.com/download/miui...v5-5-01-16-ru/
https://filosofipohonkelapa.wordpres...n-ke-lollipop/
http://www.mastahdroid.com/2015/08/c...novo-a526.html
I tried via adb sideload and via sdcard too. Same result.
On TWRP recovery the message said "Installation Done ! Please Reboot ! Successful".
But at the end of line of installation, it's written:
Updating partition details...
E:Unable to mount '/cache'
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to mount '/system'
Then I reboot and it still hang in logo
https://postimg.org/image/6tlj5nem7/
I boot to recovery and tried "wipe" option, Same result.
https://postimg.org/image/oibdy3b7f/
Dont know the meaning of that and fix this. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Can i recover files pictures after swiping/format on twrp?

omg you saved me, thank you so much for this info!
I'm using nexus 6p and when I try to install new pie Ron with FBE instead of FDE, I use a USB OTG adapter and install the zip from USB storage then completely format internal storage.
So if you have USB OTG then you can mount the USB storage into TWRP and install from there
@lost101 I need help with my XT1034. I can't push any files to my phone! When I push a file (like a 250 MB file) It says it finished in 5 seconds, which is a bit unusual. I checked in the file manager in TWRP, and it says the file is only 10 MB. Later inspecting I found out my /data /cache and /sdcard were corrupted! I think I was able to fix /data and /cache, but I can't format /sdcard :crying: I used the mkfs.f2fs command in TWRP Terminal and I was able to fix /data and /cache (I think). But I can't format /sdcard! And If you are wondering how they got corrupted, I believe I had a bad TWRP and when formatting, I think TWRP corrupted them. Looks like Dalvik Cache wasn't affected. Recovery and Bootloader working, ADB and Fastboot is also working. But when I try to check the file system in internal storage, it says "invalid partition," every other partition I checked worked. BTW I'm using TWRP 2.8.7.0 NO-THEME.
/sdcard is emulated by using files in /data/media. You can't format it.
I tried flashing gpt.bin to see if that would do anything but it looks like it didn't have any effect

Ignore that, everyone gets it. It means nothing.
@lost101 I still can't push files. The file pushes, but then it gets cut off and says it finished. This is where the problem is. and ADB Sideload isn't working either. I have Motorola Drivers installed.
