Build CM for Xperia J | CM10.1 or 10.2 - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hello!
So as you can see in the topic I'm working on CM 10.1 and cm10.2 for Xperia J.
I'm not a great developer but I try the best I can to get what we have for our J.
Previously, I had the Xperia neo V and was very happy with cm10.1 and cm10.2 on neo v but here a user is restricted only to the CM10
The Xperia J can be much more drawn to greater efficiency, etc.
I am currently working on cm10.1 first for J. Honestly? I'm doing well but I ask you to be patient because they do not bury every day on this project, but just as I have time.
However, as with other models like Miro, Tipo and dual E? I will say this first J then the rest ...
Greetings and I hope I can make it that others have not made :highfive:

you are the man!

Excellent!

Don't forget E single sim
Sent from my C1505 using xda app-developers app

I'll say this if you manage to do for J is for sure not be a problem for other devices but it is important to do this first step .

I'm working on CM10.1 too but I guess you will get bootable build first

They just don't want to spend time working on it. It's possible but harder that building for supported device.

Xperia J is not legacy ! is from 2012 .
The fact that they do not want it does not mean that there will be some developers who can not cope with this problem

Good luck
btw. Why in xperia j forums re so much Polish people ( Sorry for the offtopic, but it is quite interesting too )

they are supporting to many devices they shoud start training and leaving successors in each device line to keep up development. but if qualcom have not released drivers for cpu or gpu then we will never have a fully working usable build its just not possible

It is true we are everywhere we are
News:
Step 1 i ports libs etc from the other devices in the coming days will write to you how it goes, of course, pictures also give

thank you man! waiting for your work

Does this mean Jlo gets Android 4.2.2 along with CM 10.2

Also landing in our source repositories (however not yet enabled for nightlies) are the Motorola X and the Sony Xperia SP.
Home builders should be able to sync and build now. Nightlies will start at a later date.
The Sony Xperia L possibly got the same treatment as the Xperia SP, which means we can actually build CM for our device but the nightlies are not arrived yet. (I think they will wait until CM 11 with the new devices)
Oml Woahhh we're actually getting an official cyanogen mod rom this is just amazing

Don't think so.They got repos for the Xperia SP(huashan),but there are no repos for Xperia L(taoshan),so we cant build it.Also there are no repo for our kernel...
And do not expect much, maybe this is mistake...

No,this is the official stock kernel for 4.2.2.If I'm not wrong we need kernel based on CAF source,so this is useless for CM.
I believe we will get cyanogen treatment soon , not sure if we'll see stable build. I tried searching for other xperia devices but couldn't find them. Thus, it means we will get CM soon. CM team ALWAYS only list devices with CM ROMs.
Great news !

Hope I don't have to mess with bootloader to taste kitkat... But that's likely going to be needed, the only way to get kitkat working with stock kernel is that Sony releases kitkat officially for XL, which is not going to happen (soon), right?

Look. I'm really disappointed in you again.
I'm from CM and this info just isn't true.
WE DO NOT ANNOUNCE SUPPORT FOR DEVICES UNTIL THEY ARE IN THE TREES.
It's a PLACEHOLDER.
None of the Sony developers inside CM even have a Xperia L handset.
Can we get a mod to deal with this thread.

I do not see much point in doing roms on my part.
I see my roms here did not come here for performance and appearance.
Despite this, it hurts me that here in those departments where I was doing was not enough topics opinion and this little bother me at work because I did not know which direction I should go ...

It doesn't reboot but requires lots of work. For eample audio works but it's unable to change volume. Same with brigthness. And so on.
I'm building with some changes now, hope to fix audio issues.

need to be added as cherry pick or sth.
I tried to send this to AOSP gerrit but I'm getting errors.
